titans returns was a class line which i bought Waaaaay too much of. one ya missed thats GREAT is sky shadow (formerly black shadow) . apparently he was a retool of the overlord toy that came out later but IMO he's MUCH better looking with a nice "heft" to him. im kinda amazed they didnt retool it again into Thunderwing TBH as he's practically there already.
I did want to give that one a try, and I kind of, emphasis on KIND OF, did. I got the Dai Atlas. The last said about that thing the better. If you've not seen my video on that you owe it to yourself.
I pretty much plan to bring it back every time I talk about Waspinator. And the joke comes from exactly what I showed here. I picked up Blackarachnia, kind of thought she looked like she was in an anime girl pose, and got really stupid with it.
Personally I like to think the Triggerhappy just literally never stops firing, he just stands there drilling the ground with endless swaths of gunfire.
Thrilling 30 Generations had a bunch of really good figures. Springer and Sandstorm are great. If you have an opportunity to pick either of them up at a reasonable price I would recommend it. They share 50% of the transformation and parts. Neither has a bad mode. They are engineering marvels in my opinion.
The only titans return figure I own is cosmos because he looked pretty good so I bought him later I'm probably gonna get highbrow since he's my favorite Autobot headmaster
I had the Blaster and I was like 4 at the time so he is probably in bits and pieces and I usually accidentally find his cassets when I was trying to find other toys.
@@BobaFettThe11th tbh i dont mind the detachable head for transformation, even though i dont really care about the Headmaster gimmick. Although i do agree that the feet arent the best, and his fusion cannon is too small for my liking. But i swapped it out with Siege's fusion cannon and it's now a lot better. And, like Power of the Primes Optimus, with good balance you can get him into some good poses

So I have started to get an intense urge to get TR figures. Other than kup and triggerhappy, what figures in the line do you think are worth backcollecting
I think cause people want Tripple Changers to be special. If every character can be a triple changer then what makes the actual Triple Changers unique?
I was laughing about trigger happy because I bought him when he was one of the only figures available in the line, and I completely agree he is a fun figure one of my top 3 from the line. I also found a funny third mode for him
Wait you camr across Jobby and Thew? Thats honestly a bit of a surprise. Well not really with Jobby but moreso with thew. I like the Blurr of this way. Twinferno and Krok were the ones that got me into the line and my kindergsrden school had Highbrow and Wolf in our school store. I got all of them. And I have SixShot was amazing for me. Also. Sentinel is a good figure and Soundwave doesn't habe a waist swivel due to his transformation. Sorry if I was late to comment but yeah
I mean Thew isn't the biggest guy out there, there are people with way bigger crowds than him, but I've never run into the person to whom I mention Thew and they respond with "Who". So you were in Kindergarten in 2017? Wish I'd gotten the Sentinel. Don't worry about how late the comment is it's fine.
Yea. I only found about him last year. And yea. Third or fourth grade. Now I'm in 8th almost at high school😅 There were so many different figure in my life I wish I gotten. Ohk😅
Well, Sixshots alt-modes look dumb but they’re very accurate so you can’t exactly say they suck, they are just trying to be accurate to a flawed source material
i got titans returns leader class sky shadow and his great and i get it cheap and wolfwire has some qc issues on the cockpit hinge but its a good figure
@@PerspectiveEnd if you bite on an EBay auction you can get him for about his OG price, I snagged one recently and he’s actually pretty fun, the headmaster function is optional, and he’s basically a bigger edgier siege Flywheels, except with no waist rotation, but in turn way cooler alt modes, and a tank that holds together, though he’s my only non WFC figure I still have so who knows how informed i am

i dont care what anybody says, in my opinion Titans Return Megatron and Soundwave are WAY better than their Siege versions. YES Siege is the most G1 accurate versions we got of the characters that isn't the Masterpiece, YES Titans Return Megatron doesn't have a waste swivel, YES he's a Titans Return Blitzwing remold, but god damn it he's SUCH a solid figure, same with Soundwave!
I think around the time of titans return either I was into star wars rouge one too much to care about transformers or toys r us just didn't have titans return or anything that wasn't rid15 and aoe onestep changers, also I would like to know is er snapdragon worth it
Earthrise a Snapdragon isn't really worth it. It's not a terrible figure. But it doesn't really inspire. You'd be better off spending your money on something else.
By the way, Titans Return Broadside is an incredible figure if you are old enough to remember how blah the G1 incarnation was. I’m sorry. I agree with you on some things you rant about, but when I reminisce about G1 transformers figures, I have the exact same faulty recollection about ALL of G1 transformers like you did with Blackarachnia, and in comparison to how basic most G1 figures really were, everything since Combiner Wars is a mini masterpiece in its own right. We’re going to have these little disagreements as time progresses. I like your videos, but I have to impart my aged wisdom from time to time. :)
I mean anything is incredible if you compare it to a bad enough toy from the past. I don't know about "ANYTHING" since Combiner Wars, but there is no doubt that a lot of what we are getting is the best has ever been. However there is some of it that isn't, and when we know that they can do better we should expect better.
@@PerspectiveEnd I don’t disagree with that sentiment one iota. However, the biggest problem I forsee that we are going to be running into in the next couple decades with Transformers as a whole is that as we keep expecting HasTak to continually improve the Generations and Studio Series figures, there is going to come a point where the Generations and Studio Series figures can be improved no further in terms of engineering. At that point there will be no room in the market for Generations and Studio Series figures and then they will have to just become Masterpiece figures and then there is going to be this immense gap between the high end Masterpiece figures and the shitty one step baby’s first Transformers. The ones that will lose at that point are all of the collectors out there that can’t afford to buy all of the Masterpiece figures, and don’t want toddler Transformers. I will be fortunate enough by then to still be able to buy them, but there are a lot of collectors that are poised to be pushed out of collecting as time goes on.
Titans Return was a better version of the Headmasters toyline of 1987-1988. I wish they did a better animated series for Titans Return instead of just emphasizing the Citybots(Metroplex, Trypticon, Fortress Maximus, Scorponok).

one ya missed thats GREAT is sky shadow (formerly black shadow) . apparently he was a retool of the overlord toy that came out later but IMO he's MUCH better looking with a nice "heft" to him.
im kinda amazed they didnt retool it again into Thunderwing TBH as he's practically there already.
I did want to give that one a try, and I kind of, emphasis on KIND OF, did.
I got the Dai Atlas. The last said about that thing the better. If you've not seen my video on that you owe it to yourself.
Is the Senpai love me joke based off on anything or did you just make it up. You should bring it back if you ever cover the AOP wasp.
I pretty much plan to bring it back every time I talk about Waspinator.
And the joke comes from exactly what I showed here. I picked up Blackarachnia, kind of thought she looked like she was in an anime girl pose, and got really stupid with it.
1:32 And the winner of the oscars is........blackarachnia and waspinator!
They also got the MTV Award for best kiss.
I just got a trigger happy and I can’t put that thing down it is amazing
I'm so happy to hear that. Triggerhappy is one of my favorite figures of all time.
Honestly same now
I wish I had gotten overlord. Howver, Dai Atlas is still on the table....
I am Ok with not having gotten either.
The "senpai love me" scene had more character development than earthrise
That it did, and that was just me being a moron.
It had more character development then anything after tf prime (besides cyberverse it good after season 2)
2:23 Is that a titanmaster grimlock? Where’s that from?
There were some Japan only sets of head masters for TR so you had to get them imported.
i like to think triggerhappy's personality being like yosamity sam exept that he is more scary like his craziness scares both opponents and allies
Personally I like to think the Triggerhappy just literally never stops firing, he just stands there drilling the ground with endless swaths of gunfire.
@@PerspectiveEnd so like he just shoots the ground when the battle is over? hilarious but i also think a cowboy accent would work for him
Thrilling 30 Generations had a bunch of really good figures. Springer and Sandstorm are great. If you have an opportunity to pick either of them up at a reasonable price I would recommend it. They share 50% of the transformation and parts. Neither has a bad mode. They are engineering marvels in my opinion.
I have both of those. I take it you've never seen my WTB on the Wreckers.
@@PerspectiveEnd not yet, no.
The only titans return figure I own is cosmos because he looked pretty good so I bought him later I'm probably gonna get highbrow since he's my favorite Autobot headmaster
What's funny is that cosmos is older than Titans return, they just brought it back in TR. Highbrow's OK his transformation is stupid simple.
I had the Blaster and I was like 4 at the time so he is probably in bits and pieces and I usually accidentally find his cassets when I was trying to find other toys.
Yeah I never really gave the TR blaster a sideways glance, that one just didn't peak my interest.
@@PerspectiveEnd I thought it was to big same goes with the sound wave
Titans Return Megatron kind of holds up still, as long as the head, the fusion cannon, and pretty much all the jet mode wing flaps are still there.
in my opinion Titans Return Megatron is WAY better than Siege
@Jason-wg6tu if it had an ankle tilt and an actual head. Then yes, would be vastly superior
Why is the “sempi love me” bit kinda funny?
I don't know but it is.
I have trigger happy, and I have loved him since I got him, even before I had it I wanted it so much
I don’t know why but for some reason I want the tr cerebros figures but without the full fortmax body. This is probably impossible to find
I don't know, you could check Ebay, they might have something like that.
I’ve tried but they’re only selling the whole thing or a third party figure with snapdragon
@@aunknownperson7624 That's a Strange Combo right there.
When will be Studio series line rate?
Hopefully something about that will be done by this weekend.
Sempi, sempi love me, sempi, sempi love me. No you are to beautiful, I am hideous. Sempi, sempi love me, sempi, sempi love me. No I am not worthy, I am hideous. Sempi, sempi love me, sempi.
I’m putting that on my god damn tombstone.
That'd bring a tear to the eye of who ever sees it.
Though it's spelled Shempai.
So I have started to get an intense urge to get TR figures. Other than kup and triggerhappy, what figures in the line do you think are worth backcollecting
Hotrod was fun, Blurr was better than the 86 one. Blitzwing, and Quake are really enjoyable. A lot of the line was pretty fun.
How come this is the only time we gotten a triple changer prime that’s a jet that would’ve been awesome
I think cause people want Tripple Changers to be special. If every character can be a triple changer then what makes the actual Triple Changers unique?
And it’s the only time megs has been a voyager jet that’s good
It's really funny how I never saw the figures he has on stores meanwhile all of the figures he hasn't seen are all here on stores I have been to
6:28 looks more like a space double-header pterodactyl
Tomato, Tomahto, Space Ducko, Pteradacto.
So...Movie 'Strafe'?
@@cillianstewart9441 This is way more endearing than that.
Also technically kind of G1 Strafe.
Did you try a vid about how to fix the broadside jet mode and broadside is a retool of alpha trion
I know his lower half is off the Alpha Trion, and what do you mean about trying a vid?
@@PerspectiveEnd watch the vid on how to fix the jet
@@charperalta9489 I mean I feel like my fix is pretty good, but which video are you talking about?
Type how to fix broadside's jet mode to make it from crap to ok (and dont type to make it from crap to ok)
I was laughing about trigger happy because I bought him when he was one of the only figures available in the line, and I completely agree he is a fun figure one of my top 3 from the line. I also found a funny third mode for him
And what is said funny third mode?
@@PerspectiveEnd flip the body and arms turn them 180 so they bend backwards also turn hands to jet mode and you have a titanmaster mech
@@PerspectiveEnd also aimless and misfire was the figure who got me back into collecting
I'm having a hard time visualizing that.
Which I could have gotten one of those. It's not quite the right look from the IDW comic, but he's still one of my favorites from that.
Now I'm in 8th almost at high school😅
There were so many different figure in my life I wish I gotten.
Ohk😅
Correction.
I was in elementary school and accidently called it kindergarten😅
1:31 that's something my cousin would STILL do with my TFs if he got them for shits (he's 20 now)
I worked at a Toys R Us and I never saw Windblade, I’m pretty sure she got screwed by distribution.
Perhaps. I was also just late to the party.
I would love to see a collection video
Unfortunately that would ruin the surprise of what figures I'm going to make.
@@PerspectiveEnd one i day i hope i can see it
@@brubru9663 You'll see it all one day, one to several figures at a time.
We need a 13k special
But I just did a 400 video one...
Does the Return of the Fraternacons count?
@@PerspectiveEnd yup
did you paint your blitzwing?
I got my brother to do it like always, just the face.
@@PerspectiveEnd oh ok
Well, Sixshots alt-modes look dumb but they’re very accurate so you can’t exactly say they suck, they are just trying to be accurate to a flawed source material
I mean they don't hold together great, and they aren't convincing. So yeah it's accurate but I'm a still say it's not good.
Triggerhappy the name says it all
Yeah, that might be the most evocative name of the character in all of the transformers.
Your quick voice reminds me of blurr but not annoying ngl
I get that a lot. Thanks.
How did you get a none purple blitzwing face
Had my brother paint it.
@@PerspectiveEnd I wish my brother was a cool as yours
I sawed off the shoulder helicopter things from highbrow
Well I can understand why you did it.
Too bad you didn’t have a chance to get Trypticon. He’s the best Titan class figure to date, atleast in my opinion.
I have it now, and while I don't think I'd call him that, he is TONS of fun.
i got titans returns leader class sky shadow and his great and i get it cheap and wolfwire has some qc issues on the cockpit hinge but its a good figure
I did want to get the Sky Shadow, but I could never find it for a reasonable price.
@@hickettsisepic989 I don't know I just looked at Ebay and basically all of them are sitting at a 60 dollar minimum with like 20 dollars shipping.

@@leviticusprime4904 O believe me there are lots of things we need to cover. We will get there eventually at least hopefully.
@@PerspectiveEnd
I don’t disagree with that sentiment one iota.
Man this man is a critic
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
would you say octane is worth it?
Ehh. I don't love that figure. It's ok. Not something to hunt down.
Oooooo jobby the Hong
Indeed. I owe collecting and all the money I've blown, plus my youtube channel to JobbyTheHong being funny enough to share with people.
Titans Return was a better version of the Headmasters toyline of 1987-1988. I wish they did a better animated series for Titans Return instead of just emphasizing the Citybots(Metroplex, Trypticon, Fortress Maximus, Scorponok).
I imagine that senpai love me thing to be Elita and Optimus

titans return fort max reminds me of that scene in the movie big...when tom hanks is in that board meeting playing with that transforming sky scraper and kept asking I don't get it. titans return fort max sucks. 2ft tall hunk of plastic that doesn't really do anything. the g1 version was so much better cause his city mode looked almost like autobot city.
