Oooooh, that explains Jobby's SSSGridman review. He kept mentioning how each vehicle are based on the Dinobots. I thought it was some in-joke that I didn't get. Turns out it's not a joke.
hearing him talk about gridman was the funniest thing to me because finding out that the characters are based of shattered glass versions of the transformers is both a cool nod and just hilarious.
Yeah, the Matrix was originally introduced in the comics, though it was an artifact that could create new transformers. Galvy is also based off of his appearance in the marvel comics. (Though his face should be black and his eyes Yellow.) I might tweak some things with paint, but I am absolutely getting that guy.
That bit about Optimus Prime being an anime magical girl with big (censored) was so goddamn hilarious, that it helped me push through a really tough moment in life, and for that, I am eternally thankful to you.
I'm utterly proud to hear that I have ever been able to help anyone through a tough moment, or just put a smile on their face. Stuff like that makes what I do worth while.
Hasbro's has really uplevelled in engineering of figures but they are really getting worse at prices and distribution of the figures.......so small figures are costing soooooo much!!!!!! The distribution is soooooo bad, international customers, especially in my country try anyways new figures are available nothing has come on my country's Amazon after second wave of earthrise and those figures are also out of stock! Buying them from international sites is even harder as I have to pay 70 dollars for shipping and total goes up to 90 dollars for a 20 dollar figure.....man I am so pissed at Hasbro right now.
Yeah, Hasbro really needs to take a more global view of their customers. Like only half of my viewers are American, so if I'm anything to judge by, they are missing out on like 50% of their potential market.
@@PerspectiveEnd You would think the potential revenue alone would engage their corporate lizard brains enough to see it improved. It's more than a little baffling.
@@USSMariner Yes in the comics. Here he is, very, very, very blue: static.wikia.nocookie.net/villains/images/b/be/GalvatronMarvel.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20200223123329
I get why they do it, I understand the desire for the easy growth, but I can say it is frustrating to know that there is no way to ever be the first one to review a figure so long as they are around. I can say that I'm not going to stoop to that level.
That anime part is hillarious. I can't believe that was real. Yeah, most of the reveals are great. In my opinion, the new Waspinator looks great. The new Beast Wars Ravage looks amazing except for the tiny feet. The Jurassic Park crossover pack is amazing, really amazing. I can see Skids on JP93 there. I like The Worlds Collide pack, I actually excited for Fangry. Yeah, Nemesis Primal and toy colour Blackarachnia look great and the new Shattered Glass Jetfire is really fantastic. Anyway, great video.
I'm gonna clarify some things regarding Gridman since you did say your knowledge is limited. 1. Gridman is not a rip-off of Ultraman. Gridman was made by Tsuburaya Productions, the same company that makes Ultraman. 2. I'd appreciate it if you didn't label Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad a knock-off of Power Rangers. Yes, it was riding PR's popularity but that doesn't make it a rip-off. They're just part of the same genre called Tokusatsu. And that genre in the west already has a bad stigma of people labeling anything similar to it as Power Rangers. In fact, Syber-Squad as a show is more similar to the original Gridman than it is to Power Rangers. 3. Actually, Akane doesn't have magical powers. The one with powers is her partner Alexis Kerib. All Akane does is make a model of a monster and he brings it to life. So she's not really a magical girl. She's also considered the best character in the show by fans because she's the most fleshed-out character in the cast. Alongside Anti (SG Hot Rod) who is also a great character. 4. There are TF references in the show besides Shattered Glass. As there are 4 characters in suits that are based on the Age of Extinction Dinobots. There's even a background character who's based on SG/G2 Thundercracker. There are other TF references but I won't spoil them if you wanna watch the show. 5. Just thought I'd let you know this but the show came out the anime community was very horny for Rikka, the girl based on Shattered Glass Megatron. Mainly because of her thighs and how people thought she was thick. Which isn't too far off from the toy she's based on given that Megatron mold had large legs. If you're looking for a good anime with giant robots I do recommend SSSS Gridman. As well as its sequel SSSS. Dynazenon. No, you don't need to see the original to understand everything in the anime.
First off I wasn't using knock off in as hateful a way as you seem to think, I was just saying that they are shows that were trying to Ride the popularity of something else people liked. Here's the thing yes it's made by the same company, but the suits look so similar Gridman is clearly directly trying to cash in on the Fanbase of Ultraman. Not just tokusatsu fans but it makes a directed push for Ultraman Fans. So does it really matter that it's actually made by the official company when that's the only thing that separates it? And this may seem a little stand offish, though I don't mean anything by it, but let's be clear here Super Human Samurai Syber Squad "IS" a knock off, it's not just a Tokusatsu show, it's not just in the same Genera, it came out entirely because of Power Rangers, to be AS LIKE Power Rangers as it could be, to get some of that Power Rangers money. It doesn't matter if it's got it's own unique flavor, or that it's more like it's original show than Power Rangers, it only exists in the west because it was trying to leach off the popularity of the Power Rangers. I thought She had Psychic powers that manifested the monsters? That's what I heard from what little exposure I had to the show? I saw there was the one guy based on the Movie Grimlock, but I've seen no other articles point out any other characters be like other TF characters. Probably my main exposure to Gridman was the memes about that girl being thicc, and Akane being top heavy. Since I learned about this connection I have been planning on giving Gridman a watch.
@@PerspectiveEnd Well, technically, in the lens of the US, Power Rangers is a “ripoff” of Ultraman since it also got a localization prior. And even then you could say Ultraman is a “ripoff” of Godzilla, capitalizing on the same market. While yes, much like Beetleborgs and the original Masked Rider, Gridman was appealing to the same audience associated with PR, it’s important to understand the distinction between the regular tokusatsu genre and the “Kyodai Hero” or giant hero tokusatsu genre. Regular tokusatsu has regular sized humans fighting regular sized monsters, the only exception of which is the Megazords of Power Rangers or Super Sentai itself, which are more based on the mecha genre anyway. “Kyodai Hero” tokusatsu like Ultraman, Gridman, Andro Melos, Mirrorman, etc. have roots deeply planted in the Kaiju genre. This is further supported by their parent company, Tsuburaya’s first foray into film being Ultra Q, a Kaiju anthology series. Anyways, yeah SSSS Gridman and SSSS Dynazenon are sick and you can watch them stand-alone, so you don’t have to contend with the admittedly janky but iconic original series.
Seems like you're using the word knock-off incorrectly. As knock-off is more to describe something that is a fake version of the thing it's based on. Like a lot of Transformers knock-off toys. There's even a real knock-off version of Ultraman would be those Dragonforce films from China. That version of Ultraman is a knock-off because they didn't get permission from Tsuburaya to use the character. While Gridman is obviously designed similarly to Ultraman, that's mainly because giant heroes fighting Kaiju are Tsuburaya's thing. And red is an easy and marketable color to young boys. So it's more appropriate to say that Gridman is inspired by Ultraman, but not completely. Especially since Gridman isn't completely like Ultraman. As Gridman can do things that Ultraman cannot. 1st Gridman only ever exists in cyberspace and never fights in the real world. And 2nd is that he has mechs that he can combine with to become stronger. Something Ultras in the Ultraman series never do. In fact, because of this Gridman is more often labeled as a mecha show rather than a kaiju show.
@@FireFury190 Actually Knock off just means to be produced cheap and easily. bit KOs don't have to be so direct. If you are into old Bad movies, Knock offs are common, and they usually aren't an exact coppy. Like Carnosaur is a Knock off of Jurassic park, but there is no Park and really it's military VS dinos the movie. Actually the Red stems from Japanese Culture as it's the color of the Samurai, and there for the hero in popular fiction.
I can't wait for the JP x Transformers set because I love the JP franchise Also, I just wanna say Im so glad you exist because I love your opinions of good and bad stuff, you help me choose out what I should buy and what is terrible to get.
I don't know how far they are going to try and push this, but eventually the prices will get too high and people will stop buying them, and Hasbro will probably blame continuity the figures are from more than the pricing.
@@PerspectiveEnd Bruh, do they actually not read/watch reviews/feedback they get? I'm sure there's 100s of people sending them e-mails and stuff, they just can't ignore this, especially once their sales go down. People will stop buying their shit, and they will have to ask themselves why.
@@ragingsaviorkami9862 A lot of companies have a policy of ignoring all mail like that because if someone includes "here's my idea for a show it's this-" and at some point they make a show like that by coincidence then they can be sued for stealing the idea without compensation.
So i have a little OC Concept called Updraft, and i'm currently using the Strafe from the Calculation King set as him. I was gonna use the Maketoys Buster Stealthwing, but i might use the SG Jetfire, since he's also a Decepticon Scientist who defected. (although A. His field of Study is T-Cogs, and B. I didn't even think of Jetfire when conceptualising this)
@@PerspectiveEnd nah, i just use it as the character, since i dkn't have a propee design for him. All i have is T-Cog scientist who defects and turns into an arial vehicle
Most of these look cool to me, definitely getting waspinator, I hope to get the shattered glass stuff, especially skyfire though the price is pretty high for me and as much as I want the Jurassic Park figures it has NO reason being £125, that’s nearly as much as the Titan class ark. I definitely want ravage and the 4 pack if I can get them though And I laughed way too hard at the start
@@PerspectiveEnd a bit more is an understatement, charging in Titan class + a deluxe price for a leader and what I’m guessing is also a deluxe is utter bullshit, I don’t care how cool the figures are, that does not make it worth the price
I'm definitely agreeing with pretty much everything here. The figure I want the most is Waspinator for sure, and the rest of it is more of a pass for me. Ravage would be cool but realistically I don't see how I can get that. If I get a chance, then sure. The Shattered Glass line seems odd for me, really the only ones I kinda want are Megatron and Starscream. I don't have a Siege Seeker figure so I thought that would be a better time than none. And yeah, Megatron is reused too many times. I have the OG Siege and that was great enough. The latest Spoiler pack one is tempting but with four figures claiming Netflix accuracy, you just gotta give up on it.
I'm kind of checked out on Kingdom. The only character I still want is Tarantulas. That's actually not true, but since I lack the optimism to hope for Rampage, Depth Charge, or even my childhood favorite Silverbolt, I'm sticking to season 1
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah I know we're still missing some but Tarantulas is the only one left that I care about. Although now that you mention it, I forgot Inferno. He was great in the series.
I’m almost tempted to get the sg skyfire, switch the factions, keep the face mask on and call it an entirely different character Also I’m someone who wants the white galvatron so I can pair him up again ultra Magnus like in the marvel comics
Hey, that's a reasonable reason to get that figure, it's a good mold, so if you don't want it for being a Jetfire get it for being a good figure. As for the Galvatron thing wasn't he like a powder blue in the Marvel Comic.
@@PerspectiveEnd kinda it was more just the grey shading but there was another version of galvatron from a different timeline or some shit like that (because comics are weird) which is more like the color scheme of the toy called “Galvatron 2” which is the one in the regeneration one comic and does have a green matrix at one point in a Japanese manga That’s also why there’s stickers you can apply yourself, it’s so it can look either like the toy or like the comic
@@PerspectiveEnd also I already have siege jetfire so that’s why I’d use the SG one as a separate character I’d probably call one jetfire and one skyfire or something like that
Actually I'm pretty sure the main reason behind SSSS Gridman is that the studio behind it are massive Transformers fans, and that was probably they're desparate cry on wanting to make a TF show, which I honestly won't mind.
@@PerspectiveEnd hmm ok then tell ya what I'll keep an open mind buy the figure and see how it is no being biased no comparing no nothing, that way maybe my opinion will change
The Galvatron II is for the multiple comic incarnations of a future Galvatron with that color scheme, especially the one from the original marvel comics run, which is also where the green matrix comes from
@@PerspectiveEnd Because yeah, the marvel comics fans never got their Creation Matrix, in their original colors. I personally don't care for it, considering that the Marvel Comics colors were completely bonkers anyway.
I remember your pitch meeting skits on what it would be like if Japan created Shattered Glass. Turning Optimus Prime into a anime school girl. I was like, ha, that would never happen. Japan is too smart to do something that ridiculous. But now that you brought up SSSS Gridman and how the human characters were base on the SG characters. And how correct you were on SG Optimus Prime, I could do nothing but clap my hands on your right you were. What a coincidence on the matching description. -Kingdom Waspinator looks cool. Like the purple eyes and wings from his TF: Animated design, and how bright his BW green and yellow body color is. Wasp mode looks cool, and the bug legs are fine. I'll pass on this figure, as BW isn't for me. But hope others will enjoy him. -Shattered Glass Goldbug. And he looks cool. The main black with yellow gold body is well applied. And yeah, it's the same Cliffjumper body and weapons again for the thousand time. The new head sculpt is cool, but the characters art on the top corner has a cooler head. -The Premium Finish of Siege Megatron, Ultra Magnus, and Optimus Prime. And Bumblebee movie Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. I admit, they all look cool. Siege Megatron looks better then any of the other versions. This green windows Optimus Prime should have been in the Netflix toyline instead of that 3-pack. And Bumblebee color scheme is more accurate to the movie rather than his Studio Series version. But for the last two, I felt like someone else should have taken those spots instead of Siege Ultra Magnus and BB movie Optimus Prime. You forgotten about the TF 2007 movie Megatron, but there's barely any different with the photos of him from his SS figure. -Generations Selects original toy Galavtron. Hate the stickers, but at least it's optional. The Creation Matrix has a nice color of green, and the Revenge ship guns being black are a reference to his original black blaster gun. But yeah, wish they were purple instead too. I do like the repaint into his original toy colors. Wish they show that instead of the sticker already applied. But I was kind of hoping for the comic book version. Where it was light blue in the white areas instead. Either way, he looks cool. -The Kingdom convention exclusive Ravage two pack. It looks great. Awesome tribute to the G1 character's appearance in Beast Wars. And the "Decepticons Forever!" display diorama is well designed and printed. But I ain't getting it. Someone else can take my place in line to get this Ravage set. -The Transformers Jurassic Park crossover figures. I like it. Tyrannocon Rex looks great in both robot and T-Rex modes. Even better than BW Megatron. I only wish she was labeled as a Predacon rather then Decepticon. And now for Autobot JP93. Should have been given a better name, and I too theorize that this will be used for a new Skids figure in the future. -Buzzworthy Bumblebee Worlds Collide box four pack. It's cool and sucks at the same time. Nemesis Primal is well painted and has a cool battle mask. Fangry looks cool, but only sucks because he's stuck in this set and not sold separately. Bumblebee as yellow Cliffjumper. And toy colored Blackarachnia. I have to admit, the colors look ugly. -Shattered Glass Jetfire. He looks awesome. Love the main black body color with purple and silver here and there. Green highlights are awesome. Him armored with his chest armor piece and battle mask looks especially great.
I know. I never thought I would be right, let alone that I was already right. Waspinator: I don't know if the wings are Based on the Animated Design. Premium Finish: I didn't forget the Movie Megatron, more like Judiciously refused to include. Galvatron: When and why, did Galvatron have a gun that wasn't his Arm cannon? Ravage: It's so annoying that that's not going to be a full Retail Figure. Jurassic Park: The comic is probably not going to be set in the Beast Era that's why she's a Decepticon. Worlds Collide: I'm not saying the Blackarachnia has nice colors, just that I'm happy to see these particular colors. SG Jetfire: Do you already have a Jetfire, or will this be the one you are getting?
Waspinator: Sorry, I meant to say that the purple eyes and wings reminded me of his Animated appearance. Premium Finish: Yeah I get it. I was hoping for Megatron to be repainted into his 2007 Movie Masterpiece colors. Galvatron: Besides his G1 toy box art, his original G1 toy had a black gun. Ravage: The set should have deserve a mass release. Jurassic Park: Yeah, that makes sense. Worlds Collide: I have looked up Blackarachina's original toy colors, but I'm just more used to her BW show colors. SG Jetfire: I already have the Siege Jetfire. So I'm going after this Shattered Glass version too.
I hate work. Not cause its a bad job but its just not something I look forward to. But i woke up to this and 5 minutes into the video and im balling my eyes out at the shatterglass coincidence. Thank you for brightening my day before work
Huh, my experience with Gridman is getting weirder. First the info that it has connections with a weird attempt at competing against Power Rangers that got an anime reboot. Now it’s several characters in that show apparently being based off of the Shattered Glass characters. Hasbro and Takara are definitely trying to take advantage of the Cliffjumper mold. Even though it’s at the expense of the people who aren’t a fan of that mold to begin with. I remember the Matrix looking like a green rock in Marvel’s attempt at adapting the old animated movie. So maybe it being green on that Selects Galvatron is a weird reference to that weird piece of obscure info.
@@PerspectiveEnd And I’m guessing certain comic fans might be interested in the Generation Selects Galvatron. As the old Marvel comics colored him in toy colors there.
I'm honestly excited to get the toy accurate coloured Galvatron because I always oddly preferred it over the purple, although the stickers are a problem but not a complete dealbreaker for me. Also, another solid video mate 👍
I know what's it like to be psychic. I was coming up with a backstory for my character Emily, then I came across the FNAF twisted ones graphic novel and decided to let Charlie, the main character of twisted ones, be Emily's past life. But, when researching Charlie to get Emily's backstory right, I found out Charlies last name, And I'm not kidding, Emily. Like what the heck? That's nuts. Also I'm praying that Netflix Kingdom is good, and I'm crossing my fingers that they don't screw Beast wars up.
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah, TonTon's had a review of the figure up for about a month now (I dunno how he manages to keep getting in touch with people taking unannounced figs from the factories and getting away with it but that's a whole other can of worms) and when we got to articulation, he showed that the figure does have waist rotation, tho limited due to collision with the wasp mandibles
@@spiketheguy7091 people like Ton Ton and Prime vs Prime get their figures from the black market. It's sad really, but its the truth. No one that gets figures normally can review without a review already being out by one of them
While I’m super excited for the shattered glass Jetfire the only issue I have is pulse shipping and the exclusive part. Like yea the comic story is good for a shattered glass update but I wish hasbro would released the SG stuff in generations selects in the brown box’s but have the new box’s with comics on pulse this way people can just get the figures or get the figures with comics.
Technically selects galvatron is in the colors of galvatron 2 from the marvel comics, and personally, I’m glad the stickers are optional, because we’ve seen the horrors of factory applied stickers
great video dude, i want the ravage and the jp cross over but that is it i would buy the worlds collide set just for primal but that is it also i have a question, u get asked to do birthday shoutouts but when is your birthday?
"And an all green matrix because, explain. Why should we want yet another matrix and especially this all green one? It's just getting comical at this point" Nailed it. It's because the Matrix was apparently green in the Marvel Comics.
We really do take you for granted your video's are great and the way you take recommendations all the time it's a good connection to your fan base and it's overalls just a good thing to do keep up the good work man I'm stoked for the discord whenever that happens
It’s so funny to see you mad at the many cliffjumper molds. Personally I love the figure but haha you can’t stop hasbro in making them as I’m sure there’s more repaints coming.
Gridman: The Hyper Agent (1993) is basically Ultraman, but COMPUTERS!!! it...it was a product of its time. SSSS Gridman is basically "Real Fake Tokusatsu" and I love every minute of it. SSSS Dynazenon is also worth a watch if you want more of that.
@@PerspectiveEnd it's honestly worth watching the full 12-episode show if you ever get the time to just...binge. it's a great time, and it's Studio Trigger, they rarely make bad anime...I mean it happens, but I refuse to acknowledge that Darling and the Franxx ever happened.
Lmfao Omg that is too funny man wow I laughed so loud and hard that my nurses rushed in to see if I'm alright. Damn man your bit on SSS Gridman was priceless your to funny. Oh an the additional mods for gridman in there human forms are based on the Dinobots
Galvatron was more of a marvel/uk comics galvatron then the toy. It's matrix is from the marvel comics too. Right colors but wrong shape. I'm really tempted but I grew up reading the comics more then seeing the cartoons.
I was under the impression that the Marvel Comics Galvatron was more blue than purple, also why do you say you are tempted by this comic version "BUT" you grew up reading the comics more than seeing the cartoons? Shouldn't that make you more likely to want it?
@@PerspectiveEnd remember that comic book printing of that time isn’t as stable as cartoon coloring so sometimes it was a bit bluer and sometimes more off white. The arms were purple. The but in the tempted line was the reason why I was tempted and I can see why others aren’t. It would have been better to say but that is because ... sorry english is a second language for me.
Really want that ravage, its such a fun take on the character and I know I'll never get the old takara agent ravage. Hope it doesn't become a ER sunstreaker situation where it's clearly a remold of a figure but people swear it's completely new, at least this time it works for the figure. I do also wish the SG Goldbug was the Runamuck mold instead, its closer to the original look. Also gotta say I'd be way more tempted for these Marvel comic figures like Galvatron and the G2 Sideswipe if they just went full ugly and gave them the awful ultra 90's headsculpts too My only real problem with the waspinator is how big the bug legs are on his robot legs, I wish they did something but they are just held on by a mushroom peg so easy to take off and put back on if one desires.
Me, I got no patience for the G2 Extreme designs so the heads wouldn't sell them any better to me, but they aren't selling to me in the first place so maybe that would be a good idea. I mean you can see that the way the Transformation in the torso on the Ravage woks is entirely different, so it's definitely not just the same figure again.
@@PerspectiveEnd Can't argue against anyone who doesn't like the horrific depictions in those G2 comics, I just think if they're gonna do them might as well go all the way. I do assume they sell though or they wouldn't make them, let alone make masterpiece versions of these diaclone or toy looks The torso just seems to be a chamber covering where his arms would usually make the belly of the cheetah, he even still has the same arms. It's a big remold and changes things up more than just a new head obviously but I still see it as a cheetor remold
@@PerspectiveEnd Hopefully not, he is supposed to be a pretty accurate voyager and hes getting an easy orange repaint so easy double mold use crossing my fingers they wont cheap out on him
@@PerspectiveEnd Well haha eating my words somewhat now that Tigatron got leaked, shares a pretty similar design style to cheetor just doing it all better. It does look pretty accurate though, especially the head and I like the beast legs going into the robot legs more and not sticking out
Ravage in beast wars has always been a retool of Cheetor. Tigratron in this line is going to be a voyager than being a deluxe. As far as Skids, I doubt the mold for Jurassic Park SUV will be Skids as if by current trend of going for G1 accuracy Skids was a Honda City S which is a lot smaller. Maybe some engineering but I don't think it's the Skids mold
I'm sure that if it is, it's heavily retooled, but it looks very much like it could be Skidz, though MAYBE it's a Jazz Retool. And yeah Tigatron is a Voyager, but there's no guarntee just what that means any more.
Yep. Isn't this always the way. I should do a video where I talk about upcoming figures every day, not because I want to hit the stuff as it comes out, but to force them to announced new stuff every day.
I’m pretty pumped for a lot of these. Although, I wish there was a way to get the SG figures in Canada. If I were to buy them from pulse, a deluxe would end up costing me $70, which sucks. Sakes goes for Ravage, though I’ve heard there might be a way to get him in Canada I’m also really excited for the worlds collide box set, even though it’s gonna be expensive as hell. Three of the figures will be really good for bulking out my different factions, and the Nemesis Primal is stupid in all the right ways
I don't understand why hasbro can't do shipping to Canada without it costing an arm and a leg. I can buy anything from anywhere on the planet in the US and have it shipped to me for like 10 bucks provided it doesn't weigh more than 10 pounds.
@@PerspectiveEnd I’m thinking it must have something to do with customs and terifs and the like. I remember that import fees went pretty high when Trump was still in office. Things like steel and lumber were pretty expensive to import. That’s the only reason I can think of, because in some cases, the distance a package would have to travel would be less than what it has to travel coming from inside Canada
Have you seen Origin/Cybertronian mode Bumblebee from Buzzworthy? I kinda like his alt mode, the bot mode kinda messy but still good to me. Btw Akane shinjo(The anime girl based on SG Prime) has more reference about TF, like her right side of glasses has cracked like Prime window, and her headphone really resembles Optimus helmet. And i thought you have seen SSSS Gridman before so you Made a joke about Japanese girl Transformers on the previous video.
Yes I have, I completely forgot to include it because I'm stupid. Nope I have not seen the show, that joke about the Anime Girl was literally just me Spitballing the most Cliche thing I could think of Japan doing. Interesting to know about her glasses and headphones.
you know some people are always trying to say go easy on Hasbro or that its not that they dont care it's just really hard. While I'm not faulting them for believing that (mainly cause that just makes them infinitely more of a better person than my petty hide.) it's toys like these that make me see that arguement as completely full of crud. And that's not even bringing up the fact that this is their main and only priority for 40 year's and there are other companies cake walking them with half the trouble
Supposedly there is going to be a heap of reveals over the weekend at some Hong Kong convention. Not 100% sure but if there is any, you know who told you
My prediction they have an Earth mode Hound they’ll shoehorn into whatever them they have in mind next and have another Jurassic Park redeco from that mold probably paired with a Dinobot velociraptor.
I'm pretty sure the Generations Selects Galvatron is supposed to double as a Marvel comics Galvatron 2 without the stickers seeing as the green matrix I believe is the creation matrix.
@@PerspectiveEnd really? I always thought he was an off white type color. You know how in older comics venom would look blue but is actually black. I thought the same thing with Galvatron with being actually white.
If you wanted to see what Gen Selects Galvatron looks like without the stickers, a TH-camr named PrimeVsPrime has got you covered. There are two versions of his review of GSG, the first one without the stickers, and a rehash with the stickers applied.
Oh yes, Cliff the short Deluxe is equal to a Legends, because Legends of old are known for their pinned elbows, wrists joints, waist joints, ankles joints, a hidden neck joint, and a gratuitous 5-piece accessory. He totally should have been released in the Core Class.
Look I couldn't give less of a crap if he has pinned joints or ball joints, they don't add value like people think, he's half the size and half the complexity of any other deluxe. That makes him legends.
@@PerspectiveEnd But do all Legends have waist swivels, separate hand parts for wrist joints, and ankle joints for dedicated feet that are not permanently molded in a slant that have to balance on their sides like tippy-toes when spreading further than neutral? The WFC deluxe engineering and complexity is there, but maaaybe some plastic mass was left out and not enough was put into accessories and making an elephant-in-the-trunk not loose. What else could they have done, put Cliff and Huffer and Warpath and Wheelie etc. in a new $15 size price point that gradually jacks up to $20 but remains constrained to a less-than-Deluxe engineering budget?
@@KRBrickBot Well I'd argue that the only one that got close to a Deluxe on the Engineering front was Warpath, so I'd rather they not do it at all it it's going to be a 1 out of 3. Either give us the value of a deluxe, or give us the value of a Legends, but don't give us in between for the value of a deluxe.
The Autobot JP thing is also likely a heavily remolded Cyberverse Prowl (they share the same thighs and shoulders) also I actually like the Name Tyrannocon but I’m just going ignore the Rex part other than that it’s fine for me if it’s a little silly also yes the Autobot is named terribly.
@@PerspectiveEnd it may be but it does share parts with the Cyberverse figure that if it is a chug skids remold why does it have ball joints? And why does the plastic look so Cyberversey. Oh speaking of Cyberverse outside of the tone issues what do you think of the show? I actually really like the show it may be simple but I find it incredibly charming and creative.
when I first saw the jurassic Park jeep I thought the exact same thing I knew it was supposed to be for a future skids figure but nobody was mentioning it
Honestly I am so pissed off at hasbro for releasing the cliffjumper mold as bumblebee again but NOT MAKING HIM THE VOLTSWAGON VERISON!! Like these jerks have the voltswagon version and they could've done that one again so more people who missed the netflix release of it could get it and they would still have to buy this box set to get it so they would be making their money worth. But they just didn't and i feel bad for fans who will have to pay for the box set for this mediocre mold that doesnt even have the right alt mode to be their bumblebee. Hasbro is releasing so many bumblebee's except for the one that people actually want.
Galvatron is amazing. The point for the stickers is so that you can alternate between Toy Galvatron or Comic Galvatron. The comics, (especially Target 2006 which I picked up recently) are really good. Galvatron shined in the comics. The green Matrix is meant to be the creation Matrix which was the inspiration for the matrix of Leadership. The black revenges are meant to reference Galvatron's original gun that he came with on the toy. And a lot of people wanted a Wfc Bumblebee that can scale with the other figures. Regardless of your opinion on parts forming, people did want a bumblebee so this is a great way to get it. And getting the allspark and a militaristic bazooka would compliment a whole host of displays. Fangry is an excellent figure to add due to his presence in the Monster Mayhem Attack Squadron which I have been desperate to collect.
Galvatron in the comics was blue though. But there already was a WFC Bumblebee the Netflix one, and that wasn't a Bumblejumper, it and the Volkswagen mode.
@@PerspectiveEnd Incorrect, Though it might appear that Galvatron was blue it was only a stylistic difference to show that he was made of metal, his colors were and still are based on the toy with a few changes, hence the stickers. The Netflix release was incredibly elusive to those that wanted a Bumblebee.
I’ve already got the sky fire on preorder and I can’t wait but anime is weird we have an anime for about everything but can’t wait for most of these releases
Remember the comment I made on generations rhinox, most the premium figures are the embodiment of that Edit: there definitely are some good ones tho, especially the skyfire, I'm getting that
The thing about how pricing keeps getting worse while quality keeps going down. Yeah there's still plenty to like in here, but they are really starting to push it.
Ordered a shattered glass skyfire! I was never a huge fan of skyfire I was more interested in a jetfire couldn't tell you why other than the soundwave like mouthplate and visor. Anyways I missed out on the seige one and I'm super excited to get the awesome mold in one of the best color schemes! Just am dying for a shattering glass sound wave! The netflix one would be great in white!
Oooooh, that explains Jobby's SSSGridman review. He kept mentioning how each vehicle are based on the Dinobots. I thought it was some in-joke that I didn't get. Turns out it's not a joke.
When you say Hobby's do you mean Jobby's or is there someone out there called Hobby?
@@PerspectiveEnd Damn, stupid autocorrect. I mean Jobby.
hearing him talk about gridman was the funniest thing to me because finding out that the characters are based of shattered glass versions of the transformers is both a cool nod and just hilarious.
I knew that whole bit would be the Highlight of the video. That's why I had to put it in even if it did make the video run extra long.
The green matrix is supposed to be the "creation matrix" in the marvel comics i think.
It was a botcon thing not a marvel thing
@@anaveragecassetteplayer8033 no it first appeared in the marvel comics. It was the inspiration for the matrix of leadership.
Yes the concept of the creation matrix is a marvel thing but the design of a entirely green matrix is a fun pub/botcon creation
Also the Manga
That bit about Optimus Prime being an anime magical girl with big (censored) was so goddamn hilarious, that it helped me push through a really tough moment in life, and for that, I am eternally thankful to you.

You missed on buzzworthy bumblebee BUMBLEBEE (cybertronion mode). What do you think about that, its quite dope according to me....

@@soundfilms792 yeah man,it is just pain to get figures in India, they are way too costly...

Funny, I got a JWE 2 ad before this video

oh yeah wait until they release the first figure of the classic Universal movie monsters crossover, with the first being Dracula.
Thank you, and yeah, learning that blew my mind as well.
That Japanese coincidence was very funny. Did you forget about the new Studio Series stuff?
Oh, I forgot a LOT of stuff. To be fair, the video was already running long anyways, but I guess I'll have to do another of these videos soon.
ALL HAIL THE THICC THAIGHS OF OUR QUEEN RIKKA!

When I think of the Animated Waspinator. I don't really associate his wing's with the design.
Can’t wait for Optimus Prime’s size is smaller than cor- I meant legends class but the prices are bigger than Titan class.
I just can’t wait!
@@ragingsaviorkami9862 A lot of companies have a policy of ignoring all mail like that because if someone includes "here's my idea for a show it's this-"
and at some point they make a show like that by coincidence then they can be sued for stealing the idea without compensation.

I like the look of the Kingdom waspinator looks better than the generations one
I think they both look good, but yeah I don't get the Hate the Kingdom Is Getting.
I didn't even think of Jetfire when conceptualising this)
So are you saying that you are like customizing up your own OC out of a Strafe figure?
@@PerspectiveEnd nah, i just use it as the character, since i dkn't have a propee design for him. All i have is T-Cog scientist who defects and turns into an arial vehicle
Most of these look cool to me, definitely getting waspinator, I hope to get the shattered glass stuff, especially skyfire though the price is pretty high for me and as much as I want the Jurassic Park figures it has NO reason being £125, that’s nearly as much as the Titan class ark. I definitely want ravage and the 4 pack if I can get them though
And I laughed way too hard at the start
Yeah they are a fair bit more expensive than normal.
I hear that it's going to be an Online Convention. What ever that means, so you may have a shot at the figure.
I'm kind of checked out on Kingdom. The only character I still want is Tarantulas.
That's actually not true, but since I lack the optimism to hope for Rampage, Depth Charge, or even my childhood favorite Silverbolt, I'm sticking to season 1
They better give us those characters and some trans metals
We also still need an Inferno and Terrorsaur. But yeah I can see why you feel that way.
@@PerspectiveEnd lol they give us characters like the fossilizers and shadow panther but not tarantulas and terrorsaur
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah I know we're still missing some but Tarantulas is the only one left that I care about. Although now that you mention it, I forgot Inferno. He was great in the series.
wasnt there an amazon 2 pack with silverbolt?
I like the way the animated waspinater dealt with the insect legs
By splitting them? I think there was a figure that pulled that before.
I’m almost tempted to get the sg skyfire, switch the factions, keep the face mask on and call it an entirely different character
Also I’m someone who wants the white galvatron so I can pair him up again ultra Magnus like in the marvel comics
That's what I'm doing with sg Jetfire
Hey, that's a reasonable reason to get that figure, it's a good mold, so if you don't want it for being a Jetfire get it for being a good figure.
As for the Galvatron thing wasn't he like a powder blue in the Marvel Comic.
@@PerspectiveEnd kinda it was more just the grey shading but there was another version of galvatron from a different timeline or some shit like that (because comics are weird) which is more like the color scheme of the toy called “Galvatron 2” which is the one in the regeneration one comic and does have a green matrix at one point in a Japanese manga
That’s also why there’s stickers you can apply yourself, it’s so it can look either like the toy or like the comic
@@PerspectiveEnd also I already have siege jetfire so that’s why I’d use the SG one as a separate character
I’d probably call one jetfire and one skyfire or something like that
Actually I'm pretty sure the main reason behind SSSS Gridman is that the studio behind it are massive Transformers fans, and that was probably they're desparate cry on wanting to make a TF show, which I honestly won't mind.
I don't know about that, but I am sure they'd jump at the chance if they were given one.
I think I'll be picking up all these reveals (except for waspinator)
What did Waspinator do wrong? Why is he the only one left out of this batch of figures I mostly think you should leave out.

The Galvatron II is for the multiple comic incarnations of a future Galvatron with that color scheme, especially the one from the original marvel comics run, which is also where the green matrix comes from
I suppose that's at least some kind of Justification.

9:18 megatron: YES!
Megatron's Yes has a couple As and Hs in is. It goes, "Yeaahhhsssss"
Man. Why could Marvel never color things right. They make Soundwave Lavender, and they make the Matrix One Tone Green?

I'm honestly excited to get the toy accurate coloured Galvatron because I always oddly preferred it over the purple, although the stickers are a problem but not a complete dealbreaker for me. Also, another solid video mate 👍

@@PerspectiveEnd that was just how he was colored, blue is often used to replicate metallic silver in old comics
great video dude, i want the ravage and the jp cross over but that is it i would buy the worlds collide set just for primal but that is it also i have a question, u get asked to do birthday shoutouts but when is your birthday?
My Birthday is in October.
I want all the figures in the worlds collide box my self. Except for the bumblebee.
"And an all green matrix because, explain. Why should we want yet another matrix and especially this all green one? It's just getting comical at this point"
Nailed it. It's because the Matrix was apparently green in the Marvel Comics.
I suppose that's at least something of a reason.
Aaand RED Optimus Primal and Reformatting Megatron just got revealed.
Yep. Basically the second I do one of these, you can be assured a reveal will drop.
I can never catch a break.
We really do take you for granted your video's are great and the way you take recommendations all the time it's a good connection to your fan base and it's overalls just a good thing to do keep up the good work man I'm stoked for the discord whenever that happens
I don't know that you guys take me for granted, I feel pretty appreciated.
As for the Recommendations, what do you mean by that.
@@PerspectiveEnd request for reviews, birthday request all that good stuff
@@backyardboy5236 Yeah, I love doing it for you guys but I need to stop, it's getting to the point where I cant keep up with it all.
the SSSS Gridman part blew my mind
It blew my mind too!
Didn’t expect to hear about big mommy milkers in the beginning of the video but now I am buying the shattered glass repaints
Because of the Big Mommy Milkies?
@@PerspectiveEnd maybe
Genuinely forgot that kingdom was still releasing figures
Also that "plastic shortage" is a really scummy excuse
Yep, and there will be a Fourth wave as well plus if the rumors are true the next line will have BW stuff as well.
Japan is like a book that has the same thing on every page but has 1000 maybe even infinite pages
lol
This is true. How do you think my prediction was so accurate.
'soot head to foot'
pure poetry
Yeah, originally I wrote head to toe, but when I did my practice reading of the script that just came out, so I rewrote the script.
My boy that opening segment was beautiful I'm so glad I said something and I'm so glad other said something as well thank you Mr.End thank you
I'm glad that you just enjoyed it even though you knew the punchline.
I did watch the firs Six minutes of SSSS.
FINALLY, 38 seconds since uploaded
Congradulatiosn on your firsts.
Ultra magnus has been upgraded to fully toasted marshmallow
That was a great joke.
Lmfao Omg that is too funny man wow I laughed so loud and hard that my nurses rushed in to see if I'm alright. Damn man your bit on SSS Gridman was priceless your to funny. Oh an the additional mods for gridman in there human forms are based on the Dinobots
Thank you very much, I hope you are doing ok on your trip to the hospital.
Dude, Can’t wait for Love Me Shempai 2
I'm excited for that too.
2:02
Buddy, you have a much better chance at winning the lottery than I do😅😅😅
Why's that?
@@PerspectiveEnd Because I sir am the single most unlucky person in existence
Really want that ravage, its such a fun take on the character and I know I'll never get the old takara agent ravage. Hope it doesn't become a ER sunstreaker situation where it's clearly a remold of a figure but people swear it's completely new, at least this time it works for the figure. I do also wish the SG Goldbug was the Runamuck mold instead, its closer to the original look.
Also gotta say I'd be way more tempted for these Marvel comic figures like Galvatron and the G2 Sideswipe if they just went full ugly and gave them the awful ultra 90's headsculpts too
My only real problem with the waspinator is how big the bug legs are on his robot legs, I wish they did something but they are just held on by a mushroom peg so easy to take off and put back on if one desires.
I do assume they sell though or they wouldn't make them, let alone make masterpiece versions of these diaclone or toy looks
The torso just seems to be a chamber covering where his arms would usually make the belly of the cheetah, he even still has the same arms. It's a big remold and changes things up more than just a new head obviously but I still see it as a cheetor remold
@@LapisBlock From the art they've released, I am worried that tigatron is going to be more of a Cheetor than we expect.
It does look pretty accurate though, especially the head and I like the beast legs going into the robot legs more and not sticking out
The only reason I would ever get the spoilers inside is for that black playdough
lol
I mean it's currently a cheap way to get the Siege Ultra Magnus.
As soon as this video dropped mp night bird dropped
Of Course it did. Of course...
And as you upload this, they reveal MP Nightbird!
Edit: AND THEY REVEAL RED OPTIMUS PRIMAL AND THE REFORMATTED MEGATRON
Sakes goes for Ravage, though I’ve heard there might be a way to get him in Canada
I’m also really excited for the worlds collide box set, even though it’s gonna be expensive as hell.
They've released at least 5 Matrix pieces this year alone in WFC and SS86 together
Is that counting the Spoilers inside Megatron?
@@PerspectiveEnd make that six
Hmm totally getting that jetfire because it has pigeon colors
@Epsilon well since i missed out on the siege version of jetfire so guess i have another chance to get him
I didn't realize pigeons were all black, and here I thought that was Crows.
@@PerspectiveEnd some are
The matrix is "comic"al
I dun ged et.
@@PerspectiveEnd it's the matrix from the marvel comics
I find this quite amusing
I knew people would.
When I saw Shattered Glass Sky/Jetfire, I knew I was gonna buy him. I really can't wait to get this guy
I'm so happy this go rereleased for you all.
@@PerspectiveEnd I'm very happy too, this will be my first Skyfire!
The Jurassic pack car’s quote on quote “hat” kinda looks like that pirate guy’s hat from the clone war!
Quote on the Hat? Also I never watched the Clone Wars so I've got no contest for that.
I’m excited you know why I’m excited
Why are you excited?
@@PerspectiveEnd cause my birthday is tomorrow and I got the Netflix sound wave from my godfather today for my birthday gift
Nice, I hope you live it.
Not 100% sure but if there is any, you know who told you
I had not heard this, but there were tons of info leaks recently so well see how well they line up.
@@PerspectiveEnd I'm very hopeful for an announcement of a Tigertron voyager figure!!!!!!!!! Fingers crossed
My prediction they have an Earth mode Hound they’ll shoehorn into whatever them they have in mind next and have another Jurassic Park redeco from that mold probably paired with a Dinobot velociraptor.
That's entirely possible, but at the same time, they've yet to ever double dip on one of these Cross Over lines.
I'm pretty sure the Generations Selects Galvatron is supposed to double as a Marvel comics Galvatron 2 without the stickers seeing as the green matrix I believe is the creation matrix.
The one problem I have with that is that the Marvel Comics Galvatron was blue.
@@PerspectiveEnd really? I always thought he was an off white type color. You know how in older comics venom would look blue but is actually black. I thought the same thing with Galvatron with being actually white.
Always happy watching your videos. I have the SG jetfire now. I wish i have the original siege as well whewww. Itll be great to have both!
Glad to hear you like the figure.
I am kinda hyped for some of these, just don’t know how I’m gonna get the money lol.
That is one of life's Great Frustrations. Having the money for the thing you want.
If you wanted to see what Gen Selects Galvatron looks like without the stickers, a TH-camr named PrimeVsPrime has got you covered. There are two versions of his review of GSG, the first one without the stickers, and a rehash with the stickers applied.
I am aware of Prime Vs Prime. He'd be kind of hard to not know about considering he reviews figures before they are revealed.
And thanks for the tip.
Oh yes, Cliff the short Deluxe is equal to a Legends, because Legends of old are known for their pinned elbows, wrists joints, waist joints, ankles joints, a hidden neck joint, and a gratuitous 5-piece accessory. He totally should have been released in the Core Class.
Is Core Class is 2.5" Legions but bigger, or Generations Scout/Legends but smaller?
I think it's more likely that if it's not a retool of a Skidz, that it's actually an 86 Prowl.
@@PerspectiveEnd it may be but it does share parts with the Cyberverse figure that if it is a chug skids remold why does it have ball joints? And why does the plastic look so Cyberversey.
Oh speaking of Cyberverse outside of the tone issues what do you think of the show? I actually really like the show it may be simple but I find it incredibly charming and creative.
when I first saw the jurassic Park jeep I thought the exact same thing I knew it was supposed to be for a future skids figure but nobody was mentioning it
Yeah, a retool of the skids seems most likely, at least one person is convinced it's a Jazz though.
Yeah, honestly if you want the bumblebee version just buy a KO of the MP, it's the same figure but better, and probably for less.
I bought Generations Select Shattered Glass OP because I'm a huge simp for Akane.
Is that really the reason?
I’ve already got the sky fire on preorder and I can’t wait but anime is weird we have an anime for about everything but can’t wait for most of these releases
I'm not sure what you mean about an Anime for these Releases.
This video is saying what I was thinking
Remember the comment I made on generations rhinox, most the premium figures are the embodiment of that
Edit: there definitely are some good ones tho, especially the skyfire, I'm getting that
The thing about how pricing keeps getting worse while quality keeps going down.
Like I always say they are two different guys and people always argue with me on that.
I'm glad you are getting the mold cause it's tons of fun.
