It's confusing... exactly who would ever want this change? What is Mojang thinking, people _want_ to build an intercontinental railroad to transport their villager farm? As if it's already difficult enough.
@Sky_Guy because those aren't intentional. Villages are the intended places to trade and superflat isn't the intended game mode. Villager breeders, farms, and trading halls are player creations that utilize the sandbox elements to create new features. For a non-technical player or casual whose not automating everything this is a cool change that makes the world feel more connected. Obviously some problems still exist with it though.

Mog doesn't want you to know this, but when he was making the books on the livestream, someone donated $70 to name one "Sticking out Your Gyatt for the Rizzler". He was so disgusted, he bricked it up in the right wall of one of the wings. When the world download comes out, you can go and find it. Edit: Much like the book, the timestamp is forbidden knowledge.
Fr we Bedrock players literally have to show it like on plain sight and can't mass produce beacons since the wither is too hard wish Java and Bedrock withers could just switch
Now that they plan to make certain trades exclusive to certain biomes it would be cool to see naturally spawning zombie villagers be of a random biome so you could get them in particular world types.
that would add some intriguing lore, as the player has to wonder how long the villager's been zombified and how long it had to be infected for to wander so far from its native biome (ex. seeing a snowy taiga zillager in a savanna biome would give it a pretty tragic backstory but also you could get those exclusive trades if you haven't found a snowy taiga village yet)
I might be OK with that if and only if it was like a 90% chance to still be the correct biome, but maybe a very rare chance to occasionally find a “wandering zombie villager”
This is a fantastic idea! It still adds the challenge of getting certain enchantments with less anger at RNG but not screwing over super flat words completely!

I really just don't understand the AI haters in the comments. Like it's the choice between no visuals and some quick visuals to fill the scene. I studied art in university, but I don't have time to sit down and do multiple book covers for a simple gag. There is a time and place for AI- it's a tool just like anything else. I don't see the problem here.
@Mogswamp AI image generation sites unethically steal art from unconsenting artists in order to train their algorithms. This is why most actual visual artists are not a fan of these things. Not to mention, you aren't hurting for views, you could have commissioned an artist or two for the visuals if you thought they really needed to be in the video. I am a fan of your vids, but as someone who does art as my full time job, it hurts to see these "tools" being used as cheap shortcuts.
@@appingjuice I did art as my full time job before TH-cam. Again, I am a visual artist. Stop gatekeeping art and speaking for all artists. Also I don't know how much you think I make, but it's not like I'm rolling in it. I can barely afford my editor. Get off your high horse man, I'm an artist too.
@@Mogswamp Wasn't speaking for all visual artists as I literally said "most". I have friends who currently do art full time and work in the industry who have their gripes with it too, so I am speaking for all of us. Just explaining why people might not be receptive of your use of AI art, since you said you weren't sure why there were haters.
@@appingjuice You said "This is why most actual visual artists are not a fan" Your use of the word "actual" clearly implies some sort of attempt to discount my opinion as an artist. It's honestly just super hurtful to spend 100s of hours on a video only to have you discount me as an artist for the use of AI in a five second gag. My use case literally doesn't harm anyone. Again, the two options were no visuals or quick tool-assisted visuals. There is no world where it would be worth it for me to spend the time or money on it otherwise. This is my job, I have to do things that make financial sense. Ad blockers are a relatively new technology that fundamentally hurt me as a TH-camr but you won't see me going around berating anyone for using them or trying to argue about the ethics of ad blockers.

Not a fan of the A.I. images at 17:06 :/
I really just don't understand the AI haters in the comments.
@@appingjuice You said "This is why most actual visual artists are not a fan"
Your use of the word "actual" clearly implies some sort of attempt to discount my opinion as an artist.
Ad blockers are a relatively new technology that fundamentally hurt me as a TH-camr but you won't see me going around berating anyone for using them or trying to argue about the ethics of ad blockers.
as someone who considers themselves a hobbyist archivist, i am in love with this build/idea. gonna do something similar in my uhc world

I like how you’re so dedicated that you got curse of vanishing as a trade
