You should do a 100 days in bedrock super flat. Despite the switch in versions. They are two completely different challenges

u can make a snowy mountain area with the snow golems just let them walk around the mountain and place the snow naturally
The fact that he didn't know that sun doesnt melt snow golems really hit you how long he never saw a snow golem its a hit to my core 😭🙏🙏

One could rile up mogswamp even more by saying that bedrock has access to amethyst in trial chambers, it's just a java thing

Fun fact! You can use the powdered snow to convert skeletons into strays for farming or capturing them and their arrow or slownesses!

I would like to note that all the copper blocks are easily craftable with regular copper (even the bulbs, which use blaze rods), so they are also still craftable in superflat even if you don't have any Trial Chambers.

I think version 1.21 has become your favorite update. You've been sad so often that you can't get something, and suddenly BOOM! So much new stuff!
It's just a shame about the lack of Amethyst, but we have to hope that Mojang is already working on it.
There are Amethyst Geodes in the overworld preset but you’ll be surprised, They Generate up high in the Air Exposed!

i genuinely like how excited you are about the stuff and the loot tables other players will be unthankfull about. They often not thinking about how some playstyles can profit from some simple stuff like bamboo in a random chest. Gave me a good feeling having watched your video provided by the algorithm.

yeah for me it took 94 vaults. I got around 11 cores in the meantime, its dumb how rare it is.
Ominous chambers are like 100% harder on bedrock, and I have the worst luck. I have opened 143 ominous vaults exactly and I still haven't gotten even a heavy core yet.
Before anyone says anything, no I'm not getting a pc just to play a different version of the same block game.
The empty chests were actually added for inventory management. Basically just a spot to dump junk. It's not communicated in game tho.
That actually makes so much sense because the trial chambers are super heavy on items

It is only fishable in jungle biomes unfortunately :(
Remember breaking the pots with your hand actually doesnt break the pots and makes you able to pick up the pots

You should make a “item wall” where you could put every item and block in superflat. Not in one video but you could work on it during lives and stuff.

according to the minecraft wiki, the loot table doesn't have amethyst shards. you can only get: emeralds, arrows, iron-ingots, trial keys, diamonds, blocks of emerald, blocks of diamond or The Creator (Music Box) Music Disc

hearing how happy you are finding new items and the excited yessing brings back memories of when people use to have genuine reactions to finding diamonds for the first time. its so refreshing and nice. makes me want to get back into playing minecraft again and appreciate the little things in it some more XD

seeing Mog react to things they previously weren't able to obtain in superflat makes me unreasonably happy. People who play on normal generation are just normalized to things because they have access to everything. It really harkens back to when we first played Minecraft. The joy and fantasy we all experienced exploring a new world really fizzles out the more you play. it reminds me of one of my earliest memories playing Minecraft. It was with my brother. The textures were gross, there was the old villages, cats and ocelots were still the same thing, and we were spawning in blazes in creative mode to destroy a preloaded castle map. I was having so much fun scrolling through all the items in the creative menu and pulling something random out to see what it was or what it did. Thank you Mog for making me feel that curiosity again through your joy playing Minecraft.

The empty chests are intentional, they're meant to help with inventory management. You're supposed to dump loot and other random blocks in them for safe keeping while you complete the trials.

I've said this before but truly your videos are just a joy to watch. You're effectively telling a story with the way you edit and narrate and set up shots. Like I stepped away from Minecraft for a while and only recently heard about the new update, but you seemed to have covered most if not all of the new content in this update in a highly enjoyable and easy-to-follow video. I really hope the next update is themed more on a certain thing. I feel like the last few updates have been not really focused on anything in particular, which is alright, but a focused update would be great in my opinion. End update? Hot biomes update? Hell, even something wild like a sky update! Although for your sake I hope that the focused update would be able to work in your world lol, otherwise it would not change much!

@@LegendisX Not really, there were autocrafters, paintings, and other things. Also, it's one structure. It's much of a smaller scale than other updates like the nether and aquatic.
@@Darius_The_Baguette 1.18 was split into 2 official parts. Then, we got the deep dark separately. They are even still adding stuff like trial chambers and bundles!
@@pikmintopia if youve gone into a trial chamber and experienced it yourself, its a big update, especially compared to some of the older updates. i think updates should be judged based on not just the biggest updates, but the smaller ones as well, such as 1.9 and 1.12. if mojang commits to only doing massive updates, then eventually the game wont feel the same. and in response to your other reply to darius, their ambitions for 1.17 were incredibly big, so it makes sense that they split it into separate updates. also, trial chambers were never planned to be part of 1.17

the room you started the ominous trial in is the hardest room in the game (from experience in ~10 trial chambers)
Mogswamps the only minecraft youtuber i don't ger bored of. Seeing I DID CRAZY HARD THING IN MY HARDCORE WORLD gets old after awhile. Hardcore feels so bland for content since it's still normal minecraft you just can't die, but in those vids the "can't die" thing feels nonexistent cause once they get past the enderdragon it feels like that risk vanishes. But these feel different because the challange NEVER goes away. It feels like superlfat all throughout which makes you shocked when it doesn't look like superflat. I love these.
