One of the best recreations I've seen of authentic 80s hair....it was sometimes easier to tease and then create the "wings" with hairspray and the blow dryer...you seem to have naturally perfect texture to just tease and spray for everything including bangs. Girls with straighter hair had to get perms and layers. If you're not using a whole can of Aqua Net on each hair style, you're not doing it right! Good for you for knowing what "the crunch" is! Those pleated jeans....what a staple. You matched actual 80s clothes with 80s hair and 80s music. You must have had a mom who taught you well. Nailed it!

I actually learned everything on my own, I picked up a few things from different channels tutorials and combined them to see what worked with my hair - this was weeks of trial and error! (I wish my mom taught me this but she didn't😂)
Nailed it! You’ve got that 80’s look for sure! You might want to try using mousse, it was a real staple in the 80’s. I had a similar look, and my friends and I loved Aussie Sprunch brand. Great news, they still make it! Also, that stuff smells awesome. All the best, Abby 💕

I remember my sister and mother doing there hair and the bathroom after they were done was mad fumey! I dont know how could breathe plus the floor was tacky after all the spray. I can still smell it kind of. Cool video!

Can you make an 80s hair tutorial for really long hair? I've looked around TH-cam and can't find what I'm looking for especially for long hair. So if you got a long wig or anyone you know who does? Btw my hair is up to my butt💀 EDIT: does not need to be exactly my length just enough what you can work with :))
I have noticed their isnt really 80s hair tutorials for very long hair and sadly I'm not a professional, so I wouldn't know how to go about creating an 80s look on a wig :( One person that comes to mind that does an accurate job is @electric.80s on insta! Hello, sorry for the late reply! Glad you came across my video and it helped you somewhat! I'm sure your hair looked amazing, don't listen to your brother 🤣 Most hairspray will always give you dandruff (same goes for me😅) just make sure to use an anti-dandruff/dry-scalp shampoo, usually works for me!

Layers is the key to having 80s fluffy bangs! The thin layer of bangs that would fall on your forehead would be shorter and the ones you would tease/hairspray up would be slightly longer. I hope it helps!
