I LOVE Patrick Nagel’s work, so my heart turned a few cartwheels seeing the salon footage. And wow does this bring back memories! My Mom & Aunt used to perm each other’s hair…I smelled it as soon as I saw the video title…yes, the smell was horrible. There is a Polaroid of them with their hair rolled up in what looked like hundreds of curlers on one of these occasions. My Dad snuck up on them to take it, capturing that site & the expressions on their faces really was priceless🤣. Your perm looks BEAUTIFUL!!! The stylist definitely knew what she was doing & did an excellent job. I’m hoping 80’s hair will make a comeback, I think it looked so good. My teenage son wants a mullet because he saw on TikTok they are coming back. I wasn’t sure what to be happier about…that they may return or my 80’s obsession has rubbed off on him 🤣. Another great episode, they never disappoint.

We actually had a talk about 80s hair coming back, she didn't realize how popular it's getting, but she's had more men come in asking for perms and mullets in the last months and she was surprised by it all. Even your son?! Holy heck, that's incredible 😂👏🏻

I stumbled across your channel, and OMG I love it as I am an 80's kid through & through ... you look so much like my wife did back in the 80's when we dated before we got married, I remember going to the hair salon with her and watching her get her first perm & to be honest with you I loved it and a week later I got my mullet permed back then .... keep up the great work and keep the videos coming

You look so, so rad! If they had Nagel's pic, they knew what they were gonna do. You look like you come from 1986-87. I got a perm twice in my life. Not bad but no the results I wished. Now my hair is naturally curly. Its quite hard to find a good hairdresser so I am so glad you found one😊😊

Oh no! That's awful! 😭 Spiral perms are rarely taught anymore and going to a salon with a much older stylist might help, you could try to ask salons if they know anyone who does it 🤔
Wish I could get a perm but my hair is super straight and goes back to straight an hour after curling
Getting perm is a life saver - and hard work! If you ever decide to get a perm, its totally worth it :D
