If journalists can't do their jobs which is to ask the right important questions and taking the politicians accountable by answering the bloody questions.
The trouble is they are asking the questions they've been told to ask. Soft questions and no push back for some and really hard questioning for others. You can spot the bias a mile off.
the problem is politicians hate answering questions, so they stop talking to the journalists who do ask the tough questions. The guardian is essentially ignored by the conservative MPs because they will ask penetrating questions. Same with some labour politicians and the right wing media. So we get this cycle of bad journalists and bad politicians. One side cant fix the other without both sides wanting to be better, which they dont.
Joe has set my mind at ease. I can stop worrying about war, plague, cost of living, recession, strikes and blackouts. No matter what happens, I will still be able to buy a sausage in Belfast and our friends across the Channel will make sure we don't go hungry this winter.
Things are getting better already, What a fantastic Day it has been ! , Fabulous and Joyous on/for our beautiful Green Emerald Isle.

It’s fun and points out how absurd political discourse is in this country. I have to say I think you missed the best clip, and that was the two opinions presented as equally valid. One a piece in the times talking about the current realities any new PM faces and the other a piece in the telegraph that predicts everything will be great, I’d love to know in what reality that opinion was developed but presenting them as equally valid opinions is just intellectually dishonest and a disservice to the public, it deserved mocking. Joe, please do more of this!
