He spooked the shit out of me the first time I played Oblivion, I kill someone, take a nap and all of a sudden "You sleep soundly for a murderer." That still gives me nostalgic chills
it was so nice that it just happened, not like in skyrim where you have to take a quest to join the db, you could just accidentally murder someone and suddenly lucien appeared
@@joker35871 the worst of it all is that it's impossible to miss that quest... because as I pass people on the street who randomly spew their whole damn life story to me they go like "do you know that kid on the other side of the world who is so secretly doing the black sacrament that everyone knows about it?" Skyrim is missing the option to say no to quests way too much. I mean Main Quest, fine, of course... but really... Brynjolf giving me that damn thiefs guild quest as soon as I step into Riften while on a clean, holy paladin playthrough that wouldn't even steal from the dead is annoying af "You haven't earned any of your gold fairly, I can tell." bitch pls The Quests in Skyrim are very badly written compared to Oblivion. I realized that when I started playing Oblivion again a few months ago. It took me a whole damn week of playing all day to finish the Warrior Guild Questline, which was awesome. In Skyrim I could literally finish it in a few hours and it's kinda boring, because all Guild storlines are more or less the same. DB gets betrayed, thiefs guild gets betrayed and so on. And when I'm guild leader I still feel like I'm still a novice who just joined. The Dark Brotherhood. In Oblivion it was interesting, it was DARKER, the part where you met the night mother where you go up the Statue of the Lucky Old Lady and she screams and transforms before opening the path is so creepy and awesome! In Skyrim I knew how the storyline would go the moment I met Astrid.
Lucien was pretty much the sole reason why I spared Cicero during my first Skyrim Dark Brotherhood playthrough. Even though the latter is annoying as all hell, they both are prime examples of loyalty to the Brotherhood. Too bad we couldn't do the Purification as well in Skyrim.
Personally, in Oblivion, i didn't like doing Purification, sure you had to do it to find the traitor, but it bothered me to kill off all my new family members, i mean even the Khajiit Barterer even starts liking you right at that quest. That quest and the Applewatch family quest are the 2 that made me feel legit bad. Not the "whodunit" tho, i thoroughly enjoyed that quest.
CoDio depending on who you ask, either all of them save Cicero were unloyal or only Ajberjorn and Astrid were unloyal, Festus and Veezera preferred the old ways, Babbette being 3 centuries old more than likely had ties to the Dark Brotherhood got a long time, and Gabrielle says if you get exiled that she misses the old days when you had to fight the will of Sithis to come back, I don’t know if Nazir says anything, but Ajberjorn and Astrid had no respect whatsoever
That is one of the only quests from oblivion to get an emotional response from me.. Honestly after seeing what they did to him knowing of how loyal to end he was I was sick at my stomach and so angry with the rest of them I didn't care about completing the rest of the quest line..
I felt exactly as you did. It pissed me of so much, I felt as if I had just lost an uncle or friend. The first time this happened to me I was furious and slaughtered all of them.
the fact that they made the bitch who orchestrated it all into your assistant at the end of it was what really drove me up the wall literally never went back to the sanctuary because id have to see her stupid face/hear her voice
She never even apologized for killing an innocent speaker! The Night Mother told her Lucien wasn’t the traitor and she never once showed any remorse for killing her coworker who was loyal to the DB in life and in death. The Black Hand were like their own separate family. I remember I was so heartbroken when I found out he was killed and I kept internally screaming “SHOW HER THE JOURNAL!!! HE’S NOT THE TRAITOR!!!” Also I don’t think I’ve ever been more creeped out in a game than when I read the traitors diary.
Oblivion really got me through my down time while deployed on a ship back in 2006. Loved doing to DB quest line and skulking around exploring and such. Lucian was my favorite NPC. I'll never forget thinking I was coming to his rescue in that farmhouse, only to find him maimed and butchered, and feeling legit sorrow for the dude. Fast forward to me picking up Skyrim a couple of years after it came out, and doing the DB quest line. I'm thinking "Spectral assassin? Oh that sounds cool!".. My surprise to see it was Lucian was over the top. Legit had a lump in my throat trying not to get all misty eyed. It just felt like "Welcome back buddy. It's been a while".
As someone who played Skyrim first (Oblivion came out when I was like eight, so it passed me by, at first), and then went back to play Oblivion later - I was ecstatic when I saw Lachance in the flesh.
Oh yes I remember him back during the Oblivion crisis. Those were fun times. An emperor was assassinated and a man named Martin turned into a dragon to fight Mehrunes Dagon ha! Oh yes and let's not forget about the cheese!
Ah Sheogorath, or Hero of Kvatch, or whatever you want to call yourself. What about lettuce or CABBAGE! Or CETTUCE! OR LABBAGE? *Cough cough* Anyway, remember that Argonian in Leyawin that was talking about rat stew and peppered deer penis? Weird one that was. Goodbye.
It always frustrated me so much that in Oblivion I couldn't even warn the members of the Black Hand that the true traitor is still among them. Why won't they just listen?!
Reaver Fang They got tenets though, that differentiates them from the usual assasins Of course in context you shouldn’t tell them (either out of shock due Lucien, or wanting Matthew to incriminate himself) I remember opening that door and I literally became my character and both groaned and screamed into oblivion in my head because “DUDE I HAD THE PROOF IN MY HAND” Literally I am actually glad Bellamont killed 2 of those fuckers (Would have liked Arquen to die too but I do understand) and also how the night mother called them out

SO she then proceeded to perform the black sacrament on herself damning falkreaths sanctuary to ashes. The Blade of Woe Rules however. Hail Sithis.

There is no possible way you could be the traitor because the traitor was known before you became a member so you are exempt but everyone at the sanctuary isn't. 2. Lucien at first thinks you are the traitor after you unwittingly kill members of the Black Hand. When you kill the final Dead Drop, the Listener, Lucien shows up ready to slaughter you but upon seeing your confusion, realizes you have no idea what you did and understands you were being manipulated. 3. There wasn't just one Black Hand member remaining before you seek out the traitor, there were three minus Lucien and I don't think the journal or the owner of the lighthouse actually tell you it was Matthew who is the traitor. You are just told where the person who switched the Dead Drops stays and find the journal and a head, so the culprit is unknown until the very end. 4. Of course if you grab the Mother's Head and drop it in front of Matthew, he will have unique dialogue akin to "Is that a....head...? No...no..no it can't be..." spelling out pretty clearly that he is the traitor since this murder happy assassin freaks out at a severed head. I could be remembering things wrong, I have shit memory but honestly you left out some things and got some things wrong. Either you did the bare minimum of research or just glanced at a wiki. Usually your videos seem well researched, this however didn't feel like you were giving it your all. Hell, you even failed to mention at the start where he killed the thief who stole from him in Riften. Lucien doesn't fuck around.
MysteriousTomJenkins I kinda of wished that, instead of doing this, they followed backstage WWE rules and held kangaroo courts and had to pay for their crimes in booze and petty tasks. No death, no murder, no purification.. just a bunch of assassins getting drunk as fuck and having a good laugh.
I loved this guy in Oblivion and thought it was really cool how he came back in Skyrim. I liked how he’d walk over to Shadowmere and say, “Hello, my old friend.” ❤️❤️
I’m gonna take a stab (not literally) also a sneak feed at you and say Vicente Valtieri the Vampire Executioner from the Cheydinhal Sanctuary In Elder Scrolls Oblivion is the best Assassin because he’s been a member for over 200 hundred years + he was around the exact moment Lucian became the head honcho also he is still around out lasting him. I think he got bit by a Morrowind vampire member of the Quarra because he is a vampire that wields a two handed weapon also because he tells of how he got his vampirism on a hunt in Morrowind which would make him even more awesome
Archaon The Everchosen ARE YOU SERIOUS ? -_- Your talking about those nasty bug shelled armor wearing dark elves huh? 🐌🐞🦗 you got me on that one. Just had to bring up Morrowind didn’t you ? Lol 🤦🏾♂️
It brought back the memories. When I took the spell from Astrid and used itnduring Cicero hunt it felt like I was greeting an old friend. When he revealed himself....it WAS an old friend.
Hey guys, I loved this video. Of all the references to the other TES games on Skyrim, this is my favorite and the one so few people talk about. I became attached to Lucien in Oblivion, so of course the end of the DB storyline had me enraged almost to tears. Finding out that he was carried over in spirit form to Skyrim had me overjoyed. The first time I received him he was my primary and only follower. I needed no one else. Lucien is my all time favorite ES character and I'm glad someone finally gave him his own video. THANK YOU FUDGEMUPPET.
For someone who played morrowind then oblivion then Skyrim I have always looked for these types of things. This was cool. I wish you guys made oblivion builds that would be awesome
I feel the faction in oblivion were handled better and had more weight to them and the dark brotherhood line of quests were the best I loved them and hope once another elder scrolls is made that the quest line for the factions of the game have more weight to them then they did in skyrim
Evil Athros That's because the Speaker is dead, Cheydinhal is in ruins, the Oblivion Crisis happened, and who would pay attention to a group of assassins falling apart over Daedra invading the mortal realm or even a mortal slaying dragons while doing it and shouting at the top of their lungs?
To be fair, all the factions in skyrim were... Lacking i guess you could say compared to past tes titles. With the success of skyrim, i doubt they'll go back. Im willing to bet the next tes title will be equally as watered down if not even more unfortunately
M3T4LH34D91 you do realize Skyrim wasnt the major break out title right? Oblivion sold around 5 million copes and Morrowind a few Million as well. And assuming the rest of the ES games from here on out will be "watered down" when they have been working on this title for years now is very premature. Btw Only quests that were watered own imo were the Mages guild one and the main story being too short. I mean come on, you cant mean to tell me fighting Junkie Mercenaries in Oblivion was more interesting than finding out the Fighting guild in Skyrim, that helped found Skyrim,is actually a cult of werewolves lol. Skyrim did have some good quests
dont get me wrong I didnt say that the quest line in skyrim was bad by any means and yes story wise it was amazing and it was fun but I felt that in oblivion how you rose through the ranks and even the assassinations you perform were better to me so I should have said that the quest line was better handled in oblivion in a gameplay perspective and I loved how they actually gave you bonuses for if you killed your targets in a particular way. but story wis they are both amazing and I loved them equally in lore and story
Thank you for making it feel like the elder scrolls isn’t boring your videos give me confidence and agility to continue roaming and dwelling inside skyrim after almost 5 -6 years of playing it
Poor guy deserved so much better. I've always wished there was a way to have saved him if you were quick enough, or found some small secret clue early enough.
Imagine killing a fly before you go take a nap, but suddenly, you wake up to meet a sketchy looking man, 3 inches from your face, saying "You sleep rather peacefully for a murderer."
I was mad when he was falsely executed but once Skyrim was released and I summoned Him I immediately recognized the voice actor then when I heard “You and I” I was so happy.
God his death was the strongest emotional reaction I got out of any moment in oblivion Other than the annoyance and pure rage going through another fucking oblivion gate for the 7th time in that one quest
I’m suprised the easter egg of Mathew’s reaction when you drop his mother’s head at Lucian’s execution site was left out of this video. To date, Oblivion’s dark brotherhood quest line is by far my favorite faction quest line. Hopefully they can come close to it in Elder Scrolls VI. It was so fun!
Fun fact: if you pick up mothers head at the hideout of Mathieu and you drop it on the ground at applewatch, after that if you speak with Mathieu again he will have a different dialogue...
"mommy mommy as you lie the dark man comes and makes you die my daddy's hands are red with guilt because he killed the life we built" wtf are these sicc rhymes
Lucien was one of my favorite characters in Oblivion. Was so happy to see him return in Skyrim. Between him and Juib the ES fanboy in me was squealing in delight, lol.
Damn you Fudgemuppet, Now i need to go back and play Skyrim again it hasn't be a week last time i played. Night mother is calling for me i have to go and do my duties. "hail sithus"
When he comes for you in your sleep at the same time you become a vampire, you have a nightmare and awake screaming and then he tells you "You sleep rather soundly for a murderer" Funny shit
It would have been cool if when you do sheogorath's quest with the summon spectral Assasin. And Lucien could have a special quote like "so you've became the listener now" or something
DID YOU KNOW you can take that severed head and bring it to Applewatch farm right after Lucien is killed, and if you drop it on the floor, the true traitor will give some extra dialogue, and you can tell it’s them. Can’t remember exactly but it was something along the lines of “is that.... a head?” And you can tell he’s losing his shit
still remember the first time i saw him i was like 11 playing for the first time and i killed someone and ran and slept in an inn somewhere and i woke up and he scared the hell outta me. i remember seeing him turn invisible to leave and from there on out all i wanted to do was be an invisible assassin and that is also the tale of all of my future elder scrolls builds xD the Lucien Lachance build one of my favorite game characters of all time such a legend
Left out the l'il Easter Egg that Lucien's conjured spirit in Skyrim will knowingly greet Shadowmere, as Shadowmere is also part of the Dark Brotherhood in Oblivion.
Makes me wonder if we'll get Astrid's specter in the next game. She made amends for her betrayal with the black sacrament. And the Night Mother remarks she would find redemption in the void. Would be cool to have her as a spectral side kick.
You know lucian lachance's voice actor is the same voice actor for all the imperial males in oblivion, hermeas mora, jarl bulgruf and emp. tidas mede II in skyrim and sheogorath in both games he also played as Mr Burk and all of the super mutants in fallout 3.
I actually started playing Oblivion after Skyrim and love the dark brotherhood. Lucien's ghost kinda gets annoying because he doesn't shut up but I'll never forget walking in on them after killing Lucien like... "Well damn..."
The memories... I remember, when I first played oblivion, my first ever character, a Dunmer nightblade, murdered a beggar in cold blood after the poor fool had tried to venture for a coin or two from a dark elf that was in a very foul mood. Satisfied with his deed and knowing no one would miss the annoying little wretch, he fell asleep that night with ease. Then that cold, ominous presence filled the room, announcing the assassin’s arrival, and offering. I remember my character being quite polite with Lucien, and accepting his offers eagerly. As a player, I loved Lucien to death, pun intended. To me he was a representation of everything the dark brotherhood stood for, and I loved the sort of sinister companionship you developed with him. On top of that, his voice actor was relishing every breath he made, which made it all the more fun to listen to. I remember having mixed feelings when he was killed. Despite him being an AWFUL person, I knew that I would miss him and our quaint little interactions. He served Sithis ‘til his dying breath, and he will always be the first character I came to love from the Elder Scrolls series. May our Dread Father forever be with you, dear brother.
Funnily enough with my recent playthrough of Oblivion, I got contacted by Lucien despite not actually murdering someone. I did the Arena questline and told the Grey Prince he was half vampire so he let me kill him but I would kill him even if he wasn't suicidal so I don't see why it counted as a murder but it did so I joined the Dark Brotherhood because of an assisted suicide. XD
hey, fudgemuppet crew, if ur still doing builds, might I suggest a concept i enjoy playing? He's called the dreamstealer, an argonian shaman whose rage towards the dunmer for killing his greatest friend many ages ago has caused him to leave blackmarsh on a journey for vengeance against the house to wronged him. The dreamstealer wields the hist in the form of conjuration spells to soultrap his enemies and fill his staff, the skull of corruption, after gaining the favor of vaermina. He also dons the mystical savior's hide and forsworn armor for a tribal look.
I thought awesome ! A invulnerable follower like Arvak ; no more loosing progress when your follower/horse dies. Heck yeah I R2ed Ol' Lucien Lachance . Then 3 minutes of listening him blather over important dialogue that I'll never get back. I kept waiting for him to fade away but he's a thrall ! What !?! when I finally realized this I immediately pulled my sword & lopped his spectral head from his shoulders. Next time I summoned him he didn't mention it , so that's now our arrangement.
He spooked the shit out of me the first time I played Oblivion, I kill someone, take a nap and all of a sudden "You sleep soundly for a murderer." That still gives me nostalgic chills

I think calling Lucien ''innocent'' in any context is a bit of a stretch.
Lucien never killed the dark brotherhood
It all just depends on what you accuse him of. He was a killer but he was loyal until the very end.
He was absolutely innocent in the context of betraying/killing the DB. Not innocent in the grand scheme of things.
RManRik innocent when only taking into account the tenants of the brotherhood. Society's laws not so much I mean he is a murderer after all

I think he got bit by a Morrowind vampire member of the Quarra because he is a vampire that wields a two handed weapon also because he tells of how he got his vampirism on a hunt in Morrowind which would make him even more awesome
Archaon The Everchosen
ARE YOU SERIOUS ? -_-
Your talking about those nasty bug shelled armor wearing dark elves huh? 🐌🐞🦗
you got me on that one.
Just had to bring up Morrowind didn’t you ? Lol 🤦🏾♂️
The way he died was creepy as all hell when I was playing in oblivion
Knox Lyfe Also sad.
Easily one of the best characters in the entire series. I love listening to his ghost reminisce on his life as you take him around on your playthrough
It brought back the memories. When I took the spell from Astrid and used itnduring Cicero hunt it felt like I was greeting an old friend. When he revealed himself....it WAS an old friend.
Lucian's death was the start of the fall of the Brotherhood
Hey guys, I loved this video. Of all the references to the other TES games on Skyrim, this is my favorite and the one so few people talk about. I became attached to Lucien in Oblivion, so of course the end of the DB storyline had me enraged almost to tears. Finding out that he was carried over in spirit form to Skyrim had me overjoyed. The first time I received him he was my primary and only follower. I needed no one else. Lucien is my all time favorite ES character and I'm glad someone finally gave him his own video. THANK YOU FUDGEMUPPET.
HAIL SITHIS!
He was the only NCP in Oblivion I was able to take seriously. Everyone else is rather....well.....just look at them
For someone who played morrowind then oblivion then Skyrim I have always looked for these types of things. This was cool. I wish you guys made oblivion builds that would be awesome
Giauss gaming yeah if you really look into it, there are so many reoccurring characters. I think its so cool!
I feel the faction in oblivion were handled better and had more weight to them and the dark brotherhood line of quests were the best I loved them and hope once another elder scrolls is made that the quest line for the factions of the game have more weight to them then they did in skyrim
Evil Athros
That's because the Speaker is dead, Cheydinhal is in ruins, the Oblivion Crisis happened, and who would pay attention to a group of assassins falling apart over Daedra invading the mortal realm or even a mortal slaying dragons while doing it and shouting at the top of their lungs?
To be fair, all the factions in skyrim were... Lacking i guess you could say compared to past tes titles. With the success of skyrim, i doubt they'll go back. Im willing to bet the next tes title will be equally as watered down if not even more unfortunately
M3T4LH34D91 read the comment above you.
Thank you for making it feel like the elder scrolls isn’t boring your videos give me confidence and agility to continue roaming and dwelling inside skyrim after almost 5 -6 years of playing it
Probably one of my favorite characters in Oblivion... I was devestated when he was murdered and ecstatic when i got the "Spectral Assassin"
I loved the dark brotherhood Questline in Oblivion. In my eyes the best part of the game.
I like the thief's guild quest to
Poor guy deserved so much better. I've always wished there was a way to have saved him if you were quick enough, or found some small secret clue early enough.
I cried while purifying chydinhal sanctuary. "why brother why" man
same ;-; especially how the khajiit became friendly right before you had to kill him
It's cool that ghost Lucien remembers the character we played in Oblivion :,3 ah nostalgia
I miss Oblivion. I wish they’d re-release that instead of Skyrim. :(
Ariel Lee It had its great moments, but the Oblivion gates were annoying
AlphaWolf098 I would disagree the oblivion gates were fun especially leading a small army or sacrificing the adoring fan with traps.
Hahaha yes!
skyblivions coming in the next few years
There's just something about this character that makes us want to know more about his life. No other character compares.
God his death was the strongest emotional reaction I got out of any moment in oblivion
Other than the annoyance and pure rage going through another fucking oblivion gate for the 7th time in that one quest
"La Chance" means "The Luck" in French...
So much irony in that name...because we had the proofs but it was too late to save him...
Perfect name
Lucien was one of the only ES characters I actually felt bad for.
My favourite character from Oblivion
Lucien Lachance is one of the few characters that has absolute loyalty to something that we see in Elder Scrolls
As a latecomer to the Elder Scrolls (Skyrim is my first), it is interesting to hear the origin on the Spectral Assassin. Thanks, FM!
Probably my all time favorite video game character.
look up "flex like sithis".
you're welcome.
Fun fact: if you pick up mothers head at the hideout of Mathieu and you drop it on the ground at applewatch, after that if you speak with Mathieu again he will have a different dialogue...
"mommy mommy as you lie the dark man comes and makes you die
my daddy's hands are red with guilt because he killed the life we built"
wtf are these sicc rhymes
eid lliw ecnahcal neicul!
8:15 if you take the mother's head you can talk to him about it! its pretty funny
Lucien was one of my favorite characters in Oblivion. Was so happy to see him return in Skyrim. Between him and Juib the ES fanboy in me was squealing in delight, lol.
"Innocent" is a really strong word in this case.
Best faction in the elder scrolls series
Snigga Odinson snich pig😂😂😂👌👍
........Markarth Guard........you are a guard and like them....
Snigga Odinson yea I get you when I play ass a mage I just murder them doe the money reward shuld be higher
But ether way il love the assasins
Mad Gamer shhhhhh
Snigga Odinson geez it must be boring when you play skyrim....
The dark brotherhood in oblivion is one of the all time best questlines in a game, it rivals most games main story lines.
Oh shit... I never realized that lucien lechance was the spectral assassin you can summon in skyrim. I always thought it was some random dude.
I love Lucien. He didn't deserve to die, but I love how he became a follower in Skyrim I was like "Oh hey."
Easily my favorite questline in all of elder scrolls.
I remember Skyrim from my youth, and the glistening crimson on fields of white.
I've been waiting for this video for so long 💖 Love Lucien so dang much
Unlike in Skyrim, guys from Dark Brotherhood were real badasses.
I wish i could of seen the battle between him and the three other leaders even they said it was a great battle.
Damn you Fudgemuppet, Now i need to go back and play Skyrim again it hasn't be a week last time i played. Night mother is calling for me i have to go and do my duties. "hail sithus"
When he comes for you in your sleep at the same time you become a vampire, you have a nightmare and awake screaming and then he tells you "You sleep rather soundly for a murderer"
Funny shit
Who doesn't know him though?
Devanshu Arjuna at least me
El RetroRegalo "they exist!"
He was the speaker in oblivion
Quickpaw Maud sorry I think i was thinking the question was how nows it jeje
But on the cover it says elder scrolls 5 and I recommend daggerfall it’s freeware and is the best anyway largest game ever made by a large margin
I cannot describe the first time I heard, "I live...again. "
I had no clue.
It would have been cool if when you do sheogorath's quest with the summon spectral Assasin. And Lucien could have a special quote like "so you've became the listener now" or something
Flexin' like Sithis
"for crimes he didn't commit"
well...
I loved Lucien in Oblivion. I literally cried when the other Black Hands killed him....
The same, he was the best of all the Dark Brotherhood.
R.I.P Lucien lachance
DID YOU KNOW you can take that severed head and bring it to Applewatch farm right after Lucien is killed, and if you drop it on the floor, the true traitor will give some extra dialogue, and you can tell it’s them. Can’t remember exactly but it was something along the lines of “is that.... a head?” And you can tell he’s losing his shit
Lucian is my hero. he died for no reason. poor guy
still remember the first time i saw him i was like 11 playing for the first time and i killed someone and ran and slept in an inn somewhere and i woke up and he scared the hell outta me. i remember seeing him turn invisible to leave and from there on out all i wanted to do was be an invisible assassin and that is also the tale of all of my future elder scrolls builds xD the Lucien Lachance build one of my favorite game characters of all time such a legend
lore videos are always fun to watch
This is the best video you've made, loved it just like I love TubbyToast.
Wow I love this video all jokes aside good work bro.
Call me weird, but when I played Oblivion I had the biggest crush on Lucien.
I cannot quit this bastard.
Lucien was so close to unfold the truth about the hero of oblivion and skyrim. If he only knew...
One of the best quests of Oblivion.
I actually started playing Oblivion after Skyrim and love the dark brotherhood. Lucien's ghost kinda gets annoying because he doesn't shut up but I'll never forget walking in on them after killing Lucien like... "Well damn..."
i like the oblivion dark brotherhood way more, more creative killings, more interesting story, not lead by an idiot
XD
I’m so glad Lucien is honored by the DB, favorite character from any TES, so fucking pissed about what happened in Oblivion
hey, fudgemuppet crew, if ur still doing builds, might I suggest a concept i enjoy playing? He's called the dreamstealer, an argonian shaman whose rage towards the dunmer for killing his greatest friend many ages ago has caused him to leave blackmarsh on a journey for vengeance against the house to wronged him. The dreamstealer wields the hist in the form of conjuration spells to soultrap his enemies and fill his staff, the skull of corruption, after gaining the favor of vaermina. He also dons the mystical savior's hide and forsworn armor for a tribal look.
Shadowmere, Lucien, and the cool dialogue with the Emperor, are the only reasons to play the Brotherhood questline.
Lucien Lachance is the best character in Oblivion in my opinion, he was so badass
I genuinely got sad when I found Lucien dead
I LOVE YOUR BONE SCALES BUILD 👏
My name is Lucien Lachance....... WHATS UP GUYS MY NAME IS SCOTT
Hearing Fudgemuppet saying my name is the weirdest feeling ever
Fun fact, if you take the mother's head and show it to him, he does react.
I don’t care if I’m a blood thirsty killer just having a ghost walk around my hideout would freak me out
Every morning I wake up to the fact that Lucien Lachance raised 2 argonians.
For me, I had a glitch, so now he follows me around for ever.
I knew he died in Oblivion and that you had to kill the rest of the Brotherhood, so I could never bring myself to finish the quest.
I disagree with what the Dark Brotherhood does but such loyalty still does deserve respect
You may not like him but I'll be damned if someone doesn't respect him for that.
Lucien is true husbando
