So honestly we didn’t need a sequel because Anakin’s story is finished he was the reason that Star Wars was made to tell his rise his fall and his redemption.
I lost my father and almost my mother, was born into a rough life, suffered for years with diagnosed severe depression and anxiety. Had people lie to me. Stab me in the back and manipulate me. For a while there I was surrounded by death and suffering, people hated me, and nobody trusted me. I continued to lose family member after family member, and I became apathetic to the world around me. I'll tell you right now living a life of hate and suffering leads to a metaphorical Vader, it's hell, unbearable hell and you just want it to end. For a decade and a half of my life I was like this, I ventured down paths I shouldn't have taken, and I put myself into situations where I didn't care what would happen to me. I burned my bridges, I stopped being kind to people, and I left my friends, even my sister, behind. It was like there were two personalities in me, I became an entirely different person and the good in me faded. I couldn't find a shred of hope, I felt like a slave to myself; bound eternally. I can't explain it, but it was like something plucked me from the depths of my self-created hell and I realized how bad I was destroying my life. How much I was letting that monster inside me control my life. I believe it was the realization that there's so much more to life than the prison we make for ourselves. That at the end of the day we can choose to be good or to succumb to our monsters and live a living hell. I chose to become good; I was tired of the pain and misery I inflicted upon myself, and I wanted to move forward. The tragedy of Darth Vader is one I relate with, but I'm glad to say I overcame my demons and returned to who I was. The pain of righting your wrongs and carrying your broken body up a mountain you created is nowhere near the pain of becoming an avatar of your evil. I felt the need to write this for whatever reason, but I'm sure someone who reads this is in the same position that I was, let me tell you that you alone can make the choice to better yourself. You are the master of your destiny, and the fate you weave is yours.

Now there isn't fear. In my life is to let my fear define who I am. In my life the Darth Vader that has always been me I kept running away from. The thing is people need someone like us. To show people the depth of emotional suppression, that if only we felt more embraced by the world than lied to, betrayed, accepted instead of trying so hard to just conform to a world that is not for us... We are for it. And if we simply focus on protecting people that we love instead of trying to save them or feel regret when we beat ourselves down because we feel powerless to stop bad things from happening. They are necessary. We are the only ones that can go in the dark to chase the monsters away so others feel safe in the light. Protect the people you love... Don't waste your time trying to save them all... Not everyone needs saving...
at 22 I've been both blessed with all the materialistic things i want, but born with disabilities and raised in the mayhem of a narcissist. i've been rejected and picked on for existing often as a child. nower days, i usually reject ppl. i've wasted too much on too many ppl. i'm no angel and i don't intend to be. i just intend to do all things with honesty, if there isn't this then i don't invest. i believe growth can't happen in an environment of dishonesty. most of my life has been only comfortable because i had to do everything for myself and still trying to assist others is becoming impossible. the home of my parents has never been HOME to me, i knew this since i lived in different environments and countries for brief periods. i must distance myself away from this completely so i can have peace to at least function bc i'm paralysed these days, numb and just really really tired. so much energy is within me it's like it never ends. i hope you're right about this, all i can say or do is hope at least.
I always thought of Anakin as the Jedi Order's evolution. He was meant to transcend both Sith and Jedi, and become something else entirely. "Anakin, Chancellor Palpatine is evil!" "From my point of view, the Jedi are evil!" "Then you are lost!" The Jedi are just as responsible for Vader as Palpatine is. How many lies have they told Anakin? How many times did they tell him to bottle up his emotions? How many times did they fail those he loves? Shmi Skywalker dies because the Jedi refuse to help those that aren't under the Republic's banner. They cast Ahsoka out of their order on what is, at best, circumstantial evidence. Mace Windu believes that Anakin can't handle his mission, yet no one teaches him a way to handle it. Yoda tells him to let go, but does nothing to give him the tools to do so. They taught him to praise the light and fear the darkness, but that's not the role of the Chosen One. The Chosen One is meant to balance light *and* dark. Selfish attachments and selfishness in general are not necessarily bad things. Love can make you stronger. Selfish love can give you a person to confide in, and give you purpose. Sometimes, you *have* to be selfish for your mental health. Too much of either can be destructive. (Again, balance) So, yeah, Anakin became Vader because Sidious manipulated his feelings for others and selflessness in subtle ways over the course of 13 years, but without the Jedi and their flawed ideology, Vader would've never existed at all. Anakin could've remade the Jedi Order better and stronger than ever before. But they saw his potential and they feared it.

Even his master Obi Wan stood with the council on the decision to exile Ahsoka from the order. Anakin had already lost so much, and the whole time the wise know-all Jedi masters told him not to worry about the people around him. That they were a burden on his life, but the only burden in his life was the Jedi council. They got Qui Gon killed, dragged him from his home leaving his mother defenseless, and casted Ahsoka behind without any thought of remorse. There was one last person he could protect, but her time too was running out. It was time to look to someone else because the Jedi council only ever was the cause of his loss. He then lost Padme too…
The most tragic thing about the story telling of Anakin Skywalker is represented in so many individuals in this world, the upbringing as a child, growing up in an environment as a child were we are told what to do 24/7 and finally introduced to the Jedi but again a slave in some sense, in which we have to suppress our emotions and feelings and have to lose and let go of people close to us. As Anakin was diagnosed with BPD his impulses and attachments tore him apart (from personal experience as BPD) affects an individual significantly different compared to a “stable person” he saw his whole world in the people closest to him, Shmi, Qui-Gon, Ashoka, Obiwan and finally Padme. His whole world was falling apart infront of his eyes and the only resource he had was the influences of the last individual he needed it from, we all know.. as we know the Jedi council didn’t trust Anakin as he was reckless and impulsive (signs of BPD) and also his attachments to the ones closest to him. His personal feelings and emotions truly got the best of him unknowingly and it has lead him to the suffering he has been dealing with for so many years, as he became Lord Vader, I believe he let all those traumatic experiences he had experienced take control. As soon as he was in the suit and realised his flaws and the pain he inflicted on others made that pain into anger and eventually into suffering and took it out on anyone and anything that stood on his way. I will forever feel for Anakin and in some sense sympathise with him.. Even as he did become Lord/Darth Vader, he was still Anakin Skywalker.. he let the anger and pain turn himself into someone who he, himself didn’t recognise… he forever had good intentions and love in his heart but unfortunately went down the wrong path in life and tried to justify the atrocities he committed.

I hope, he and Ahsoka will get some Force ghost scenes in the Ahsoka series. So at least she can bury her haunting demons as she is (imho) his second most important person in his life. Like it was allowes to Luke and Obi-Wan at the end of ROTJ. 🙂
This was so well-made. I am literally crying right now. This was beautiful and truly shows that Anakin Skywalker is the best written character of all time, and Aniken was always in Darth Vader. He came out bit by bit. It started in rebels, then in obi one Kenobi, and then he fully came out when Luke tore him out of that suit and let him die as Anakin Skywalker, not Darth Vader Anakin Skywalker has the most tragic, yet well written, and compelling story ever, auntie even ends on a high note

Yes, but Anakin pre and post mechanical arm had tons of adventures the films couldn’t squeeze in. The Yavin 4 duel with Ventress, his dragon white dwarf discovery, etc. His story is beyond complex.

If the Jedi knew any better they would have taken full advantage of Anakin as their secret weapon. They should have given him special training and teachings, yoda and mace windu should have been personally involved in his training to make him a walking god of combat and knowledge. Knowing full well the sith would eye him to make him their weapon. The council was a joke they didn’t know how to handle the treasure they were handed in Episode 1. From the very beginning they were reluctant…they got what they deserved. Death
Oddly enough the council practiced quite a bit of arrogance and ignorance. Yet Anakin was scrutinized because of his midichlorian count as opposed to a beyond elite weapon but used for good, not joining in warfare, politics. Ignorance caused their destruction, an 1000 year old tale of a long ‘dead’ Sith. Fools.
This is pry one of the best tribute videos I’ve seen. It high lights Anakins life, his attachments, his downfall and ultimately his Redemption. The Jedi failed Anakin. While he did choose to join Sidious and suffered greatly for it the Jedi didn’t try to understand him, they didn’t try to look after his mother, they never fully trusted him etc palpatine portrayed himself as an understanding father figure who gave him the time and day to listen to what he had to say and give advice. It was only through Luke he came out of the darkness and Into the light he restored balance to the force. There are no sequels. This is the star wars I know and love to 1-6

As person has both light and dark within them; they need to expereince and use both to understand how to live. Life is journey of dark and light. Anakin and Ahsoka both have both light and dark within them. I do hope Ray meets Ahsoka in the future.
Some believe Luke was the chosen one but with all technicality Anakin remains to be the true chosen one he did bring balance to the force after sacrificing himself along with the emperor he destroyed the empire and he saved his son just made it very clear like hey father this isn't you come back to the light and conflicted him to where he would see the error of his ways but either way I will tell you like it is you did a hell of a job making this what a awesome masterpiece you have done I think George Lucas would be proud of you. Yes, but Anakin pre and post mechanical arm had tons of adventures the films couldn’t squeeze in. The Yavin 4 duel with Ventress, his dragon white dwarf discovery, etc. His story is beyond complex.

If the Jedi knew any better they would have taken full advantage of Anakin as their secret weapon. They should have given him special training and teachings, yoda and mace windu should have been personally involved in his training to make him a walking god of combat and knowledge. Knowing full well the sith would eye him to make him their weapon. The council was a joke they didn’t know how to handle the treasure they were handed in Episode 1. From the very beginning they were reluctant…they got what they deserved. Death
Oddly enough the council practiced quite a bit of arrogance and ignorance. Yet Anakin was scrutinized because of his midichlorian count as opposed to a beyond elite weapon but used for good, not joining in warfare, politics. Ignorance caused their destruction, an 1000 year old tale of a long ‘dead’ Sith. Fools.

This is pry one of the best tribute videos I’ve seen. It high lights Anakins life, his attachments, his downfall and ultimately his Redemption.
The Jedi failed Anakin. While he did choose to join Sidious and suffered greatly for it the Jedi didn’t try to understand him, they didn’t try to look after his mother, they never fully trusted him etc palpatine portrayed himself as an understanding father figure who gave him the time and day to listen to what he had to say and give advice.
It was only through Luke he came out of the darkness and Into the light he restored balance to the force. There are no sequels. This is the star wars I know and love to 1-6

Some believe Luke was the chosen one but with all technicality Anakin remains to be the true chosen one he did bring balance to the force after sacrificing himself along with the emperor he destroyed the empire and he saved his son just made it very clear like hey father this isn't you come back to the light and conflicted him to where he would see the error of his ways but either way I will tell you like it is you did a hell of a job making this what a awesome masterpiece you have done I think George Lucas would be proud of you. But if there was no Qui-Gon jinn there would have not been any Anakin Skywalker if there's no Anakin that means no Luke and no Leia
