Anakin in his later years was never a good person until the end, but he did his best as a Jedi. he was groomed since he was 10 to be THE chosen one, and yet time and time again the council denied him whether his opinion or his rank, they even talk down to him for trying save his own mother. i understand his reasons for turning. not only that but his only Ally Obi Wan asks him to spy on his only other friend. then a member of the council tries to kill said friend

Anakin did bring balance to the force, he destroyed the Jedi and then the Sith master and died himself. Leaving it basically even upon his death... (I don't care about the Disney shit retconning).

this is probably the best super cut of Anakin/Vader, I've watched like like 20 something, which mostly were great, but this is a cut above. Fantastic work (and this coming from a Star Trek fan) keep up the great content!

Some say Anakin is the chosen one. Some say luke is (see the final fight between maul and kenobi). My own hot take is that neither are. They both are, together. Without Luke, Anakin wouldnt have returned to the light. Without Anakin, Luke wouldnt exist. A prophecy, misread, may have been.

This is what I feel about Anakin Skywalker. As a little boy, I saw him as a villain and always thought, "Why are you so stubborn?" But when I grew up, I saw Anakin as a man with compassion and love who lost everything-a good man who walked a dark path with a broken heart and torn soul. for me He is a man with a mindset of, "If the world turns its back on me, then I'll fight against the world myself. either as a saviour or as a demon" and he's not the choosen one to bring balance, he's the choosen one to reset it to zero

I watched stars wars for the first time when i was 3 years old and ever since then anakin was always my favourite (i was born in 2003, so i watched it 1-6 usually but han, chewbacca, luke and leia will always be top 10 of groups and characters) but as i grew up i understood anakin more and more, especially with newer releases but anakin is one the most relatable main characters there is, i can understand if anyone disagrees but that man went through hell and he was good and had good in him the whole time but he was torn between what people expected from him his whole life and manupilated from both sides (just my opinion)
