Mrs. Doubtfire will forever be one of my favorites!
you guys have to have her back! I’d love to hear all her stories from Matilda & miracle on 34th street & Mrs. Doubtfire - she is one of the best child stars of our time ❤👏🏼😍
Yes! She was such a huge part of my childhood
I wouldn’t say best, she wasn’t great at acting
@@xragdoll5662 it’s a great thing that art is subjective :)
@@thesandravshowArt most definitely is subjective, but whether or not someone can act, is not.
Can I be your girlfriend
Seeing my childhood idols together in real time hit all the right feels. Matilda was EVERYTHING for me growing up!
Omfg I had no idea until a quick wiki search that ALL 3 of these guys had such a huge part of my childhood 'Mrs doubtfire' (Matthew) one of my fav movies, 'recess' (andrew) my fav childhood show and 'Oliver and company' (joey) my FAVOURITE Disney film as kid. That's wild!
I know you guys are going to laugh at me, but I first knew of her as Lily Stone from one of my childhood favorite guilty pleasures growing up “Thomas and the Magic Railroad”.
@G.S.Productions Ok hear me out I am laughing but only because me too lol 😆
That was so cool seeing Mara and Matt back together after 30 years. Nice to know they’re still good friends.
Joey, yrs ago, I wrote and told yoy it would make my yr.,if you called me. YOU DID!! You will never know how much that meant to me!! (I really hope you see this)💕💕💕
That's awesome! ❤
Hey it’s Joey, I remember you. I appreciate all my fans!
@@beetlejews go away you fake!!
I actually know Mara more from Matilda, but this was so cute she and Matt catching up 😁💜
Matt looks so happy to see Mara, it's really sweet.
Both do conventions too. Saw them both at '90s Con in 2022 -- Lisa was there too.
Chris columbus is in talks to do a documentary about Robin Williams and Mrs doubtfire. There is 972 reels of film which are Robin Williams outtakes which the studio thought were lost, but columbus found them
These pods could definitely be 2 hours and we'd all be happy 👏
Yes! 2 hour pods!
I wish it was that long
I agree
Love these guys but Errrm no COMPLETELY disagree with the beatles comment..the early songs yes. But in what way does 'come together' 'strawberry fields forever' 'helter-skelter' 'something' 'tomorrow never knows' 'don't let me down' ANY song from 1966 onwards sound dated, NONE of them do..some still sound like the future..whereas Micheal 'p3d0' Jackson songs just sound like the 80s..his only fans are ppp who grew up in the 80s, hence why the beatles still go number 1 n Micheal doesn't.
Or bi-weekly. 😂
One for guests and one on their own
Mrs Doubtfire will stand the test of time for sure! My 3 year old loves it and quotes lines like "I am job" and "well hello". She'll even sing and dance to Dude Looks Like A Lady and Jump Around! Seen it so many times and still laugh non stop 🙌
Mrs Doubtfire will always have a special place in my heart. It came out at the same time that my parents got a divorce and really helped me get through it.
It came out during my first divorce and my children were about the same age as the children in the movie. It helped us adult failures find needed peace that our children would somehow be resilient and forgive us our being imperfect.
I'd love to see a Lawrence Bro holiday movie with a cast reunion of Mara, Matt, and Lisa.
I love that Mara still has that wonderful big little kid smile she's had since she was a kid❤❤❤
35 And I still love watching Matilda and Mrs Doubtfire and Mara being a gamer and voice actress now makes me love her even more. This was an awesome episode. Love it. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I really think Mara seems like such a sweet person. This was great!!! Pod da Pod!!!
Mara fits so well within this podcast, my god... She's such a loving, funny, and great person ❤
I have a tattoo of Robin Williams as Mrs. Doubtfire on my leg and I have no regrets ❤❤ LOVE that movie so much!!
The Lawrence brothers intelligence is on a while ‘nother level. Mara fits in perfectly.
Could not agree with you more
Wow it's been 30 yrs since Ms. D! ?? I was 7. Now we're all growed up! Good to see Mara & the bros. On the podie-pod!! ❤️💯
I was 8
Same! I saw it in the theater lol and a million more times on VHS
@@kristinas8598 nice! Same with the VHS. They even showed it in school for a pizza party!
@@sagevibes3458 I was 6
I was 16 when that movie was out. Crazy how time flies!
Mara has such a great voice. Like a good radio voice ❤
She does a lot vocie over work now
Oliver and Company is literally my favorite Disney Movie of all time!
Mine too!!!
Damn…Mrs Doubtfire is such a special film. My parents split around that time and we were visiting SF in 93 and got to watch it in the theatre. One of the many 90’s films that got me through the harshness of life
Matt, Joey and Andy don’t listen to the hater’s because I loved your Disney movies.🍿❤️🎥 #BrotherlyLovePodcast #TheLawrenceBrothers
Mrs. Doubtfire was the first movie I got to see in theaters. I still remember that day now. It was a magical movie and I showed it to my son when he was born and he loved it. Joey is correct, it is a classic.
I was like 8 when I first tv watched mrs doubtfire it was a movie that will always stick in my heart
Mara is my comfort person , I cannot explain properly , but any film of maras I will put on when I am sad or feeling lost and will feel comforted and like things will be ok again !
She needs to be a regular guest!❤
I still watch Mrs Doubtfire almost every month ! One of my all time favorites ❤
Watching Andy's facial expressions after Joey talks about his VinFast commercial thing had me rolling. Hilarious!
His facial expressions are absolutely hilarious! 😂
50:42 for reference lol
❤❤Matt is totally a hot nerd! Excellent reunion show! Thank u for making my Friday supes special.
Watching Mrs. Doubtfire was one of my favorite childhood memories. That movie was just awesome. I have seen it so many times.
I was 5 years old when I saw Mrs. Doubtfire with my family in the theater. It's forever one of my top favorite comedies. Robin was such a national treasure. An absolute gifted person.
Loved watching Mara as a child
Mrs Doubtfire is one of my favorite movies, watched it with my children and now with my grandsons.
I’m not showing Mrs Doubtfire to my kids until they’re teenagers. Because I don’t think that pre-teens would understand cross dressing. But my oldest just turned 13, so I’ll let him watch it now
Just watched Miracle on 34th street for the first time at 32. She’s Such a good actress! Glad you had her own the show!
Watched it this Christmas. It is a great movie. Mara and Richard Attenborough play so well off each other.
Mrs Doubfire and Blossom, talk about a hit of nostalgia. Seeing you all as adults is strangely grounding, like bumping into some old school buddies.
Them singing my girl is so stinking sweet
I was genuinely impressed!
I have two 10 yr olds that absolutely love Mrs. Doubtfire. I love sharing movies from my childhood with them and seeing how they still resonate.
It was a drive by fruiting. I love Mrs.Doubtfire!
What an incredible episode! Man she's great. What a smart woman. Love the chemistry you all have too. So cool hearing about the mrs doubtfire close bonds that were created and have lasted! Well done again. ❤

Cool guest guys! Mara Wilson, even as an adult 30 years later, still has that cuteness that she had when she was a kid.
Omg I haven't watched Mrs. Doubtfire in years and for some reason last night I decided to watch it again and how funny to watch the podcast today and see that your guest is Mara Wilson. 🤣I love synchronicitys!!
OMG, I can't believe it has been 30 years since Mrs. Doubtfire...I am 46 but now I really feel old
Yep, I’m 36… I was 6 when it came out and we went to see it. I’ll never forget a commercial that was apart of the previews, the guy was talking about how he hated socks or something lol
Mrs. Doubtfire is a classic at our house❤️🙏🥰 Everytime my kids ask for help I say “HELP IS ON THE WAY DEAR!” (Robin Williams voice) as he is jumping from the other side of the restaurant 😂
😆👌🩵✨️!!
Watching them catch up and talk about the their life at the time is awesome.
I would love to see an episode with the Culkin brothers.
I’m from Toronto and the fact that Joey and Andy remember the places and street names is amazing! another great episode guys! So excited to see Mara too ❤
Great POD today. I wish Andy said more than 2 words.
Hard to get anything in, joey loves to talk.
They never let him talk, I would definitely watch more if they did!
I saw the bros together on another show and there is a serious case of pressured speech happening lol. A bit much for my neurodivergent brain! Loved seeing them together though, that film is timeless.
I can't tell you the feeling of nostalgia i get when i think about the movie Mrs. Doubtfire
Who’s telling you to cut it off at an hour? Keep it rolling!
I wonder where the clock is at? Or is someone behind the cameras silently signaling that time is over?
This is by far my favorite podcast. Middle child syndrome all day lol
I have a 2.5 hr drive back home today. This episode could very well lead me into a good cry, and I'm alright with that...
It's weird seeing her all grown up. Last time I saw her was in Matilda. The smile took me right back to those movies.
Mrs. doubtfire is one of my top 5 robin Williams movies! It is such a classic! Such great casting!
Now i want to know what your other 4 are! For me its Hook, Jack and Jumanji
@@hallefranklin2646 hook, Jack, Aladdin, old dogs, and Mrs doubtfire
@@horrormoviescreamqueen13 Good list. I would have Good Will Hunting somewhere in there, though. I still think about that movie and Robin Williams performance. Well deserved Oscar imo.

I was 3 months old and my parents took me to Mrs. Doubtfire, I now can always say that was the first movie I ever went to see in the theatre and they said I was an angel. Mrs. Doubtfire was a such an amazing film during a tumultuous time in my life and it was the onlt film my entire family still quotes together to this day
How do you remember at 3 months old????? 😏
Mrs. Doubtfire is still one of our family favorites, we would watch it all the time.
I didn’t show it to my kids until they were at least 13. Because I thought they’d be too young to understand man dressed as a woman if they were younger than that
I normally prefer episodes without guests, but Mara is so natural. Loved this episode! Could listen to the four of you weekly!
Lately I’ve been thinking about my childhood and how because it was so rough that I thought I never had any good memories. But now looking back y’all gave me some really good memories. And Mara in Matilda always gave me hope that maybe I could get through the tough times. Love to you all.
I was able to watch the whole video from start to finish as the conversations between everyone kept me interested! A good job! All the best to the Lawrence Brothers and Mara Wilson. -Silvia from NY
Great to have Mara Wilson on the channel! She's a really awesome person. Super smart love hearing hearing that she's a history nerd.
Guys, I just love this pod. I feel like I'm sitting down with my friends and family. Keep this up...I'm hooked! Love my brothers!❤❤❤
Many thanks to Joey, Matt, Andy and Mara! 🍠
What’s with the yam emoji? lol
@@sgaidola76 It's a Thanksgiving thing. 😊
@@auntvesuvi3872 oh got it! lol
No joke, it's so fun to watch Mara be so excited about stardew valley as a fellow lover of the game!
I literally just watched Mrs. Doudtfire this weekend. Brings back a lot of comforting memories and nostalgia. ❤
You guys! I Love Mara! Our cat is Mara because of her! ❤❤❤❤ this is going to be so good!
Speaking of screen writing... I was diagnosed with anxiety years ago. As an outlet, poetry was my thing for years. Now its a lot of other things that help. I think my writing muse left me, but every single time I am pregnant, my anxiety presents itself in the form of nightmares only. This is my third pregnancy. But I have a feeling that each of my nightmares could sell or at least make interesting film ideas... If I could just get them down on paper.😂 I think I'll give it a go once my baby gets here since I'm supposed to be avoiding stress, and diving into those nightmares now would definitely be stressful. But I found it interesting that Mara does screen writing, so cool! You guys need to have her on again. She's a joy to listen to with you guys.❤
Matilda and mrs doubt fire are absolute classics these movies were original and so well put together. Masterpieces. Same with Home Alone.
Mara Wilson ?!! Let me like this video before I even watch 🥹 #nostalgia
Mara Wilson has such great memory 😃
I was born in 93 and it's crazy to think that a movie I love is as old as me. Also I grew up watching The Lawrence brothers and Mara I have watched everything they are in. Matilda got me through my childhood I've watched it too many times to count.
My great grand kids are now watching it..
It still holds up after 30 years, RIP Robin Williams
So glad you guys finally talked about your animated roles. Lol I loved Oliver & Company just showed one of my God children this movie a couple months ago and of course Recess was my favorite Saturday morning cartoon.
So much to say, what an innocent time in all our lives. I looked up do the actors in This podcast growing up. They were my friends and my heroes. Mrs Doubtfire came out right before my parents had a divorce and we would come back and watch it make ourselves feel better❤
So awesome to see Mara on the pod. Loved her in Mrs Doubtfire and in Matilda.
Mrs Doubtfire is one of those perfectly done movies. It just never goes out of style. Definitely still one of my favorites :)
Glad y’all are all still friends
I could have watched this all afternoon. What a fun episode. I'm so glad to see you've remained close. I can't wait for part two.
Andy getting barely any words in is SUCH LITTLE SIBLING BEHAVIOR. As the youngest sibling it s so relatable, my older siblings will talk so much and ur just sorta waiting to get ur part in but theyre just going and going and riffing off each other 😂 it s all love tho im sure !
On the DVD of the movie, there is an extra feature of Mara, Matt, and Lisa meeting Robin in character of Mrs. Doubtfire. It's a fantastic watch.
Oh wow! I would love to see that… we only had it on VHS. The movies we had on VHS we never had on DVD… that I can recall 🤔
@@nsasupporter7557 Definitely worth the purchase. Plus there's outtakes, a blooper reel, and one of the bloopers features multiple takes dedicated to the scene where Daniel is being interviewed by his boss during Stu's birthday.
@@Am21Cards84 the movies that we had on DVD, were the newer movies that were never on VHS. We started getting DVDs in 1999 or 2000. The closest thing to “behind the scenes” I saw of Mrs Doubtfire were the deleted scenes
@@nsasupporter7557 It may have been the deleted scenes, but think I bought the DVD back in 2014, so it may have been an updated version. :)
Ever After for instance only ever had the movie trailer as a special feature (even with updated releases).
Happy 30th anniversary to Mrs Doubtfire!
Love these brothers! All adorable and good looking even at this age!
I can vouch for a lot of the fan base when I say we never cared about models and more than likely couldn't even name you one off the top of our heads. We grew up having our favorite actors and actresses because we wanted to be like yall. Everyone who did kid shows for Disney all other ones are who we appreciate the most because yall gave us an amazing childhood watching good quality wholesome life lesson movies and shows. Thank you to you all for the amazing work you did and absolute joy yall brought us! 😎
So excited for this episode! I love Mara!
This episode was truly a gift. I loved being able to see how wonderful of a person Mara still is and am completely wowed at her presence! I'm so happy for her! You're awesome, Mara!! 💜💫
Mrs. Doubtfire will always be one of my favorite movies ❤ it wasnt til I watched it in my later years that I realized how helpful it could have been if I was able to fully understand the deeper aspects when I was younger, but I was always able to relate to the raw emotion, especially the kids' perspectives, which made me feel less alone and validated in my situation. I wish my parents had been able to apply some of the wisdom from that movie to our family.
I truly love all of you brothers. I relate most to Andy in age (I'm 33) and that we are both the youngest of 3 siblings (all girls in my family though). I'm not very close with my sisters, but I can appreciate when others have good (or at least honest) relationships with their siblings. But even if you all didn't get along well, I think you are all really great individuals. I'm happy to see y'all. It's inspiring to me! Thanks guys!
❤💗💙
I absolutely love this reunion and I love this❤❤
I love how these two talk about the movie with great affection. You can’t fake that. It’s in their eyes and expressions how much they loved it and care about each other. That isn’t the case with many adult actors who starred in a classic movie as a child.
How is it that just discovered this podcast? My inner child is smiling right now ❤ love you guys
Mrs Doubtfire is still my favourite child movie to this day.😁😁 The days of VHS was the best
I could listen to the four of y'all talking for more than an hour. Grew up watching all of you . This was so fun thank you
Oliver and Company is the BEST movie and I’ve been waiting for Joey to talk about it!!!
I love this!! Thank you for sharing the stories l! ❤
Whatever...Joey you are still gourgeous! 🥰
I was 5 years old when Mrs Doubtfire came out. So happy to see how everyone gets along to this day 🩷😃
This are the people I should've hung out with growing up.
They enjoy telling stories and singing songs. I mean, they don't have to be starirng in movies, but there are people who genuinely enjoy being together and having funbê normal activities
What a great reunion! 🙂
It's such a great podcast. Mara you look fabulous. So grown up. Mrs Doubtfire was awesome and saw you on Miracle on 34th street.
I feel you Joey, I remember watching you when you were little
Mrs Doubtfire will forever be classic. That scene where Chris runs into Lydia's room after finding out Mrs Doubtfire had a little ... uhm, pecker will never not be funny.😂
Yes, and do you know what’s so crazy about that scene? Back at that time in 1993, it was weird to see a man dressed up as a woman… which was why Chris was so weirded out by his dad dressed as a woman… today it’s completely normal to see a man in a dress
