    Thank you for sharing how to mount the body. I'm looking for inspiration on how to mount a bronco hard body and I'm going to use the rear bracket idea.

    Thanks for making this. I subscribed, I am about to get my first hard body for my TRX-4 Sport. I could not find the exact rims, which seem to be pretty nice. I am going to Injora for most of the stuff, your videos - and the fun you have - confirmed that Injora is a solid choice and then from there on: it's in the driver and in the teamwork (recoveries ;)).

      thanks for being so kind and supporting, it means more then i can put into words. somtimes they run out of stuck, but i beielve the rims would be called somthing like 3mm off-set 5 spoke or somthing like that, they have the biggest selection of rims so it just may need some more searching through the pages. sorry i cant be much more of a help. happy trucking and best of luck with the build!

    Really like the build. I’m not sure if you mentioned it in another vid but what size leds did you use for the lights in the body? I wanna get the body and lights but don’t want to order the wrong ones. Thanks

    • @JT_JET
      @JT_JET  ปีที่แล้ว

      the body comes with the light pack, its four RC sized lights, idk the technical term but if you check out injora.com you will see them listed in the pakage for the body, its four bulbs and you choose where to put them. i hope this helps, best of luck! thanks for watching and happy building.

    When using the injora hardbodies, will the body fit on a TRX4 with the inner fenders on the truck? really want a hard body but dont really want to lose my fenders. none of the videos i have found explain that at all everyone always talking about the sport that has no inner fenders.

    • @JT_JET
      @JT_JET  ปีที่แล้ว

      watch the build series i go way more in depth on that then i can in text. in short you can build anything you set your mind to. yeahs i use the sport's hard fenders up front for some of my builds and yes they are trimmed and yes i make my own fenders, if you watch this episode you will see how. good luck and happy trucking

      @@JT_JET Thank you, I watched the videos but I wasn't sure if you just made your own to save money or if stock would fit or not. Thanks again, will probably just end up trying to see what i can figure out with them on.

    I have the same body and I just built the trx4 sport kit. I got everything together last night, but my body sits a tad higher than I’d like. I have the exact same setup as you used. The brackets the body comes with for the rear and the magnets up front, except I used the stock sport body posts, trimmed off the nub at the top, mounted the magnet to that and hot glued magnets to the body. It’s all level and sits nice to the bumpers, but I have a gap at the floor board or slider area. Maybe 1/4+”? Just curious if you have a trick for that. I know I can lower the front down due to the body post mounts, but the rear is a different story.

    • @JT_JET
      @JT_JET  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      hmmmm off the top of my head. get some sliders that go out and not down that way it fills that gap and looks like the real deal.{i used just thing metal plate that broke from old sliders i had} its in one of the build episodes somwhere :D but without having my hands on it theres not much i can help with other then say this is what i done. it seems like you will figure somthing out and im flattered you thought i could help. Best of luck, you got it!

      @@JT_JET yeah I’m fairly new to all this rc stuff and I came across your channel and love your videos and all your builds. I knew you had some “how to” videos on your Cherokee build so I thought you’d be the best one to ask. I’m sure I’ll figure something out. Thank you for responding and keep on truckin on!

    • @MidwestRCcrawler
      @MidwestRCcrawler 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Update, I figured out how to lower my body. Made two brackets for the rear mounting points and lowered it about 1/4”. Dropped my front body posts w/magnets the same. I did use that sport bumper adaptor that you used, but I trimmed it up and now it sits under and behind the stock bumper. Looks factory now. Added the straight out rock sliders and now it looks like it should and how I want it to. Love this Cherokee!

    • @JT_JET
      @JT_JET  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@markz3295 yeah but just having the same tire size may not do the trick, it also depends on how low your body is fitted on to the frame and shock length, possible fender trip, even the fact that i use rims with a 3mm offset which makes it wider make them fill the wheel wells more. i want to be helpful but please do understand that simply saying to use what i did may not give you the same result. these are 106mm to the best of my knowldege on 1.9 3mm offset rims. best of luck and happy trucking. oh thanks for wathing i really hope you enjoyed, i dont pretend to have the answers im just willing to look like a fool. have a great night!
