I wouldn't try and generalize mobile otome as all "get enough points to continue" type games. Voltage and Shall We Date, to name just a couple, have some really decent mobile Otome.
Thats true, but most of them involve paying to continue with the story, which is why I didn't really mention it XD

Most of the games on steam are either in japanese or english (sadly they never have both in one game :C) so make sure to read the language description before you buy!!!

Men of Yoshiwara for vita is only in japanese X3 so you have to have the Japanese Playstation network to get it :C sorry I forgot to mention that in the vid -faints-

If you refered explicitly to the PS Vita port, yes, that one is Japan only.
But you have enough alternatives to play the exact same game on other platforms (doubt the game contains porn, since it was originally created for iOS systems in mind.
Usually, a VN that has been released first on PC (counting from the Japanese release) contains porn, which has to be cut from adaptions for Playstation devices (Sony doesn't allow porn on their systems).
This probably won't be the case here, but if you wantto make sure, you should look it up on your own to be completely on the safe side.

No really, while the latter link is... rather forthright with its content, it is, what the medium actually is. In the west, people tend to hype every major release of any mainstream title, yet hardly ever play VNs, rather than talking about them like they actually did play them.
Add in the bunch of wannabe fan-fiction writers, and you have 90% of VNs that are available on the Steam store.
While the pornografic content isn't something everyone can stomach, it does play a major part in VNs and is sometimes even used as a plot device (for example, if you play a romantic comedy type of game and the main protagonists fall in love at the end; who wouldn't expect a sex scene at this point? It would feel 'set-up' and less passionate without such a scene and murk the ending).
I'd rather read a VN (or to be precise, ''Eroge'' as this subcategory of VNs is called) with some porn in it that tells a credible, upright story about passionate love and affection before playing... well, something like Mystic Messenger, which has nothing but sparkling boys that look like they jumped out of a fashion magazine.
