What to do if the clip brakes when closed?
first the clip breaks on one side, lucky I find replacements for sale...they finally arrive and try to remove the broken clip.......now I have a broken bucket/base too! arg! If only Eheim would make it a metal clip and not plastic that breaks :( Obviously this is a known problem yet they still use those dam plastic clips..........otherwise great filters!

Hey big als, Many of your tanks at the big als near me (brampton) are just empty. For example it has the red wag platys sticker but theyre all sold out so fast, also the shrimp, the snails, and the plants.

Why would you want to replace the clip and handle on this model? Does it break easily or something?

Some tips, be more descriptive with your words as you move through the steps, describe the approximate angle to release the latch, words like "the red button there" are not helpful and do not describe in detail what you are doing... "push the red button on the front of the power head unit to allow the handle to pass over latch" , be more descriptive about the amount of pressure when squeezing the clips together and the amount of pressure to push down that you are using..
when the clips are properly installed you should call out the "satisfying click" that they make when they are properly in pl;ace..
when you are putting the handle back on "what are you lining it up to? what angle are you positioning it at?
you should describe how you need to lift the handle while pressing down the power head in order for it to properly seal and perhaps even suggest that you wet down the Red O Ring in order to allow it to slip together and seal nicely and not bind or get damaged upon installation from ripping or tearing due to lack of "lubrication"
