My mom is 65 and snagged a 45 year old...he can barely keep up...but they're happy...my mom has lived a hard life with horrible men..she deserves to be happy so I don't care..he treats her well and they have fun..I'm all in support of that.

Yeah but that's the uk and having sex at 16 is legal here !! All of these I think they are adults so each to their own that's their choice. My sister married a man 22 years older than herself. He's now in his 80's & is retired, can't hear, refuses to wear hearing aids, won't travel anymore & naps a lot of the day & had a heart attack & has health problems. He doesn't have the energy to do much around the house. She's still working & wanting to go out because she's still young & full of energy. It's only recently that she said she should have considered the age difference more seriously, but she was young & it's difficult to see the future 30 years later.

This is really a cautionary tale to not make age gaps in relationships be too lengthy! Always have a cut off point.. Anything 20 years older is virtually your extra parent you didn't have.... And if they start by treating you accordingly,then don't be too surprised!

I saw a lot of bad teeth in this video. It's unfortunate. Many serious health conditions start in the mouth, and then there's the pain associated with dental issues.

I was married to a man 26 years younger. I met him when I was 50 and he was 24, but I had to finally let him go because I didn't want him to not have had the joy and pleasure of having children. He's now with another lady and they have two beautiful kids. I am so glad to have done what I did; hard though it was at that time.

I was willing to go for a surrogate woman, but he didn't want that either. Being older, I couldn't take the chance that he would be a bitter sixty year old with no children of his own, and blame me for that. I think in life there are no "solutions;" only trade offs, so they say. But I find this to be generally true.Regards.

I was married to the love of my life who is passed on in 98 unfortunately. But there was a 21 year age gap and it simply was a non issue for Us. Other's at first took pleasure in trying to figure out " what are Issue was" that mental problem that brought us together... Lol The Only One's with a " Mental Problem" was THEM... My husband and I adored each other and never were jealous or untrusting. We could have a conversation without even speaking. Real Love is a Rare and Beautiful Thing.

Same... 15 years. I have lived 33 of the last with his stroke he had at 45. I love him with every fiber.. He was a Green Beret and the most powerful, beautiful man I have ever ever met. !!!!! he is now in nursing home, but enjoys me still "living".. THAT is love! REAL love! It DOES happen. he was a Soldier in Vietnam when I was 4 years old.
As a 62 year-old (yes, my picture is current), I was in a relationship with someone 23 years younger than myself. I loved his wonder about the world, his enthusiasm, and he was a highly intelligent nerd with a fantastic sense of humour. He has two kids now, and I'm glad he has found the right lady to start a family with; that part of my life was long past, I certainly wasn't going to have any more children, and I'll love him until my last breath - he's a phenomenal human being. I admire how younger men have a better insight into their own emotions, and aren't afraid to show it. People assume that with older women it's about a sexual conquest, but that's a stereotypical assumption that that is the priority, and it's a superficial insult to all of the other things people can have in common. He wowed me by calling me at 10 at night to yell out: "The northern lights are out - let's go!!" We sat in chairs on a lake front until 4 am oohing and aaahing about the hours of colors dancing in the sky. I'll never forget it, it was magical. It's about people and connection, and that isn't age dependent. Good on anybody who can make it work, you've got my overwhelming support!!

@elizabeth, I think the judgment is when a person grooms an underage person to creat a relationship. It’s important that all parties should be the legal age as children haven’t developed into who they are before 18.

The guy dating the 82 years old seems to be very controling and an angry person who is not looking for love but for a doll or a manikin that he can use as he please. I met my husband when I was 22 and he was 32. When you're younger I think a 10 year age difference is a bigger deal. We've been married 22 years and I can HONESTLY say the age difference between us has never been an issue. I recently asked my mom if our age difference mattered when we were were first dating. She said, "It wasn't my relationship and your Dad and I figured if it didn't bother you why should it bother us?" I think that pretty much sums it up.
I was 18 and my boyfriend was 24 when we met and he was a bit worried what people would think but we was both adults so thats all that matters, I am now 26 and he is 32 an it doesnt sound as bad now even though 18 and 24 isnt bad
@@pearlkelly6337 Exactly. I think it's all about perspective. Obviously at 18 (high school age) you're young and haven't had as many relationships. At 24 (college age) you're a little older with a little more life experience. I think that's how OTHER people see it anyway. In reality there can be an 18yo who's very mature for their age so a 24yo partner is on the same level for them. Or an immature 24yo is just fine with an 18yo partner. Or maybe it's a little of both and the 18yo and 24yo partners average out to be around 21. If that makes any sense? That's kind of what happened with myself and my husband. I was a mature 22yo and he was a bit immature 32yo. We met in the middle so it worked for us. Now at 48 and 58 we're but just immature! Guess he won in the end. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

My heart broke for Steve, you can see the pain in his eyes as she sits there making jokes about how he won’t live long enough. He may seem like he’s going along with it, but inside that man is broken and crushed, and the fact that she is/was a cancer nurse, repulses me. Cancer is no laughing matter, I lost my own Mum to cancer and the thought that someone could mock it, particularly their partner whom is dying, is outside the realms of my thought process, it’s sadistic and a total lack of empathy and respect. I like a joke and a good laugh, but her words caused that man pain, you could clearly see the turmoil and misery in his expressions as she sat there citing how he wouldn’t live long enough to use a bottle of aftershave.
She is not moking it to be mean. It could very well be her coping mechanism. Some people try to find humor in sad moments to get them through it. She clearly loves him and cares about him how they deal with their life is their business
I think you need to understand the British humour, it's very Black. My mother had Leukaemia and my Dad had lung cancer. It's really necessary to find humour, not just slide into dark depression and tiptoe around.

@@Bombabingbong66 Sorry Kerrie, I fail to see humour in Cancer, also, I am British and understand our humour quite well. I'm a fan of Lee Evan, Michael Mcintyre, Peter Kay and the alike. I totally understand how grief can sometimes be dealt with, and joking about things can often be a comfort. I just feel there is a time and a place, and whilst the lady in the film may get comfort from that particular joke, the man whom was dying, clearly found that moment quite distressing. Cancer isn't about us whom are left behind, as I'm sure you'll agree. Our grief process is no match for the person with the death sentence, and although we're all deeply touched by that wretched disease at some point within our lives, we should always be mindful of what we say and when, especially around the person whom will inevitably pass away. I understand what you’re saying and a little while back I would have agreed. But recently I was talking to a lady down my gym who had had cancer, told me how awful the treatment was and although she is clear from cancer she still struggles with her health. Told me the only way she coped was if her and husband made what some might see as sick jokes about her not making it. Very dark humour. It worked for them. We all handle things differently. I definitely won’t judge how people respond to what lives throws at them.

I'm almost 52 (yes, my pic is recent). I'm dating a 36 year old (7 yrs). People dont realize im older when were out together. I'm 4 years younger than his mom, which was a little weird at first but treats me better than anyone my age I've ever dated. Ivef been abused, lied to and cheated on in the past. He's so patient with my issues. I do have health issues too (type 1 diabetic)and going blind. He takes me to my Dr appointments and helps me as much as he can. I worry he's wasting his life with me but he is constantly reassuring me he's happy 🥺
