A parent's worst nightmare is their 20 year old daughter bringing home a 50 year old man. My friend's younger sister did that and her Dad refused to give blessings because he felt the guy was controlling. He was generous and bought her stuff but he decided what "luxury" was appropriate. She would pick a destination, e.g Spain to go on holiday and he would say he'd been there many times so they should go to France instead, oblivious to the fact that she was young and hadn't experienced what he had.

Sure. I personally like conscious marriages that attend needs and objectives of the individuals and the couple. Love and attraction happens anyway if both are willing and truthful people.
I’m in an age gap relationship of just 7 years but even that seems like a lot sometimes. When we originally met I was 15 and he was 22 and obviously had no attraction to each other. Many years later when I was 22 we met again and fell in love not knowing we had met so many years past. Now it’s really weird to think about our original meeting and we tend to not tell anyone how we actually met. I promise he did not groom me, neither of us recognized each other for many months into our relationship. Now I’m 25 and he’s almost 32 and it’s starting to feel more and more normal but I do often have moments where I’m reminded how much more experienced he is than me in certain things. Many times it’s a good thing because he teaches me a lot but if he didn’t have the right intentions it would’ve been really easy for him to control me at a young age. This makes me fear for many of these girls who get into these age gap relationships in their early 20s.

I’m in an age gap relationship of just 7 years but even that seems like a lot sometimes. When we originally met I was 15 and he was 22 and obviously had no attraction to each other. Many years later when I was 22 we met again and fell in love not knowing we had met so many years past. Now it’s really weird to think about our original meeting and we tend to not tell anyone how we actually met. I promise he did not groom me, neither of us recognized each other for many months into our relationship. Now I’m 25 and he’s almost 32 and it’s starting to feel more and more normal but I do often have moments where I’m reminded how much more experienced he is than me in certain things. Many times it’s a good thing because he teaches me a lot but if he didn’t have the right intentions it would’ve been really easy for him to control me at a young age. This makes me fear for many of these girls who get into these age gap relationships in their early 20s.
