This is refreshing to hear. So many EV channels on TH-cam push for just EV ownership and nothing else.

  • @InternetDude

LOVE this gas content, Kyle. I've owned two Model S in the past but there is nothing new with them. I recently bought a Panamera and I'm really liking it. Porsche builds really good cars. In my opinion, a cheap EV for daily boring driving and a Porsche for road tripping and weekends sounds good.

Great video. For a so-called, "EV Guy", you really know how to make a manual transmission car dance! It shouldn't be controversial to say there is room for both ICE and EV cars to co-exist, yet here we are. Thank you.

honestly there's a lot of us in the same camp as you Kyle, who like both Gas and EV. The internet just tends to skew opinions to one side or the other.

Engaging with the car rowing your own gears will never get old!

  • @rennenthusiast

That flat six howl is so intoxicating.

  • @jeremyyeater

Yes Yes! I have my 2023 Boxster GTS 4L 6mt and 2023 Tesla Model 3 Performance. Best combo!

There is something so deeply and primally joyful and visceral about pushing a decent performing manual car through some twisty roads. I have a 12 yr old manual mk7 gti which is not the fastest by modern standards but it’s so uplifting to hammer through the gears on my favourite piece of tarmac, just smiles for miles.

Nice I took my Cayman 4.0 to the same Target when I took delivery last year. Broke in the 1000 miles coming from NorCal. Best road I've been on by far!

"Medicine for the soul" is exactly what it is. After a long week at work, ripping around in my GTS4.0 is the best medicine. It gets more Smiles Per Gallon than most cars on the road.

    I drive a Taycan CT 4 & just purchased a 718 982 4.0 Manual

  • @richardh3587

Totally agree with this. It’s frustrating that so many channels and journalists have an EV only or an extreme ICE only viewpoint. My dream garage woukd be a taycan sport turusno plus a boxster spyder

  • @s10lucky

What a great review. I’m completely with you on everything you said. I’m lucky enough to drive a Tesla Model 3 performance as my daily and a cayman 981 for weekend fun. Definitely room for both. Both do their own thing really well but are soooo different. Great job 👍

  • @carlosl5766

Kyle you need to ride or drive Farrah’s with the hot rodded 4.5 engine

This in combination with quiet ev like an EQS would be the dream. One fully connect and the other the opposite, one for driving and one for cruising.

I’m with you bro. I have a Tesla M3P for daily and a 981 GT4 for the weekends. Why does everything have to be so binary with people? Different tools for different jobs! Paying $6 bucks a week and zero maintenance on the daily and ripping up the mountains on the weekends in the howling flat 6 is heaven!

  • @Datimdavis2900

Couldn’t agree more! We own a Model 3 and Model Y as daily drivers. I own a 2022 Cayman S and look very forward to driving my Cayman.

Wow! You just earned my respect Kyle. I’m so tired of EV car channels forcing EV down your throat as it’s the only solution. Of course it’s not. Thank you! If you go to Norway I’ll let you enjoy my GT4RS on our awesome roads up north of the Arctic Circle. Plz come! I mean it. And btw, I was a very early Taycan adopter an know my way around what goes for EVs, but sold it 2 yrs ago as I found it corrupted my enjoyment of my sport cars. I can elaborate on camera if you take the trip

Few ICE engines exist that have a sound anywhere close to that. Thanks Kyle!

Fun video. I hadn't appreciated the enjoyable pastime driving through a canyon could be.
