I went last week and caught my first San Diego big bass on the Senko in that first cove. Been getting 3-4 bass every time I go on the Texas rig & one on the whopper plopper.
Nice...got to bring out the Senkos next time I'm out there...and maybe try to catch one on a Whopper plopper bought the Whopper 3 month ago haven't land one on it yet! Thanks for watching!
You’re my inspiration to get into Bfs Dude . Picked up a shimano curado bfs and a phenix bfs classic 6’8” . Got skunked at Santee lakes but I’m looking to hit the SD bay after this rain to christen my new set up. I always hit the spots you post like nest to the mission down by the river! Saw some big ones in the trees close to the shore but didn’t hook up! But thank you for keeping the good vibes always man you make fishing look fun.
Nice set up! Don't have a curado bfs at the moment but planning to get it sometime this year...but the Phenix 6ft 8 model is nice plus the 7ft...just purchased the 7ft 4 model maybe going to pair it up with the Curado bfs for this Springtime bfs Bass fishing...as for fishing right now just been feeling under the weather...hopefully it goes fast that way I can get out to some fishing...until then thanks for watching! More bfs fishing coming soon and maybe a little Saltwater bfs fishing!
Thanks the set up is awesome really enjoy bfs fishing...going to get CDM set up to see if it compare to the JDM that video coming out soon...as for Trout season most likely I will be going this season and try to nail me a few maybe on the the Bait and wait Powerbait!

Nice! Great rod for Bfs fishing...I have all 3 models love them all I personally wouldn't recommend the Daiwa fuego...maybe Daiwas bfs reels should suit the rod perfectly...or any bfs reels hope this help! Then again great purchase!
@@MrEastside619Fishing True. I be rocking with my phenix rods majority in 6’9 length too. Us asians ain’t that tall so that shorter rod looks better on us haha. Looks like a great rod tho man. I’m have to check it out in person and really see if I love it enough. Dope content man! 🤙🏼
To me it feels good but I do prefer the low profile better...but it's all preference...it looks good perform great! In the near future...I will get the 2023 model...probably in stock conditions I would use it for mostly bass fishing.

@@MrEastside619Fishing I was worry you would say that. lol I'm a bank fisherman and sometimes the shorter rods makes life so much easier because of the bushes. I do like rods in the 6'6 range but 7' rods can cast further. Hopefully they have both rods at Turner's so I can hold them and get a good feel of them to determine which one I'll get.
I think you were casting too hard cause overspooling. My bfs setups go almost as far side arm casting. If you watch Japanese bfs anglers they flick of the wrist technique. Those guys can cast a mile. imho
Yes...still getting use to cast the round reel...plus I spooled up the reel with 4lbs test line I had from my other bfs reel...got some new line spooled on might test it out this weekend to see if I can land me some bigger fish...side cast I have to practice more on...lol...

I just pick up this rod, I have a daiwa feugo llaying around Can i pair that rod with the feugo?

Man. Thinking about getting this rod for panfish. Crappie especially! What you think about this rod. The 6’8 better or the 7”?
Both are great rods if I have to choose one it would be the 6'8 it not too long and not too short.

How’s the conquest 17? Thought about getting one but people say it’s not comfortable with round reels. Just want your opinion on it.
