My playlist would be 1: Fourarms for strength (if it ain't broke don't fix it, he's a more versatile combatant than guys like Humungousaur) 2: Brainstorm for intelligence (on par with Greymatter but with a lot more power and versatility at his disposal) 3: Jetray for speed/mobility (and maybe water breathing but idk) 4: Swampfire as a fire/plant elemental (Wildvine + Heatblast with extra physicals to boot) 5: Diamondhead as a crystal elemental (the guy beat Vilgax and could survive getting hit from Galvan A to B but somehow isn't considered a traditional powerhouse alien) 6: Water Hazard as a water elemental (apparently his armor is more significant than Armadrillo according to Aggregor) 7: Upgrade for his tech hax (Goop mobility and Jury Rigg versatility without the personality changes) 8: Echo Echo for his duplication abilities (without Ditto weaknesses, plus he's got Blitzwolfer's sonic abilities) 9: Pesky Dust for hax and intel collection (honestly I picked this one last and realized I had no small guys) 10: Gravattack as a powerhouse (I don't think I've seen anyone else say this yet. Ben's better at using him than Clockwork like 90% of the time, and gravity manipulation is awesome. You could use it for sheer force, immobilizing, ranged attack redirection, etc.)

I also considered Cannonbolt over Diamond head but I prefer having the diamond (tedontite?) generation. This list was made to have a balanced set of powers with no overlap (hence why I didn't put extra strong guys like Four Arms and Rath) while also not picking aliens that might do more harm than good (Heat blast setting things in fire, Way Big being so huge he is more likely to step on something than defend it and Humongasaur can control his size).
Imma put my Ones in 1: Echo Echo: (my name: “Sound Splice”) An Alien that can Split into multiple and Utilize Sound waves has some versatile 2: Juryrigg: (Name: “BootLeg” Yes I stole that from the Reboot) Utilizes his surroundings to make solutions to problems, He’s smarts to extents, and I feel I can use him to repair damages to cars, Bridges, etc. 3: Feedback: (Name: Feedback cause it sounds cool) as Ben claims “I have nothing that can deal with Electricity… oh wait YEAH I DO” he has Verified Super speed, can deal with any Electrical threat and can Easily Take on HEAVY amounts of power like the Takion Cannon, and a universe Level Explosion (Kinda) 4: Big Chill: (name: Zero) same reasons as in the video 5: Raph: (Name: Raphieal cause Tmnt) he’d be my strong guy, he’s practically indestructible, can survive out in space, and he’s Hilarious. 6: Grey Matter (Name: Neutron) along with his MASSIVE INTELLIGENCE, he’s small, calculating. And can tell certain controls from the rest even with the users limited knowledge on alien tech. 7: CannonBolt: (No Name change) he has indestructible armor, able to Bounce around like a pinball. 8: SwampFire: (no name change) What can I say about him that isn’t already a thing, He has plant based powers along with Fire based powers, can regenerate, lift structures 40x his size, and move underground. he has perfect blend of versatilities. 9: Click Work: He’s shown to be able to speed up time which can make him QUICKER, and with Maltruant, he has HUGE VERCITILE ways to fight. 10: XLR8: Cause Obviously we need a speed Character
1.Swampfire(Stemblaze/Powerplant), plant powers means tons of versatility and scalable strength, plus fire powers for brute force 2. Big chill(Frostblight), cryo is underrated as an ability, eating metal can dismantle machinery, and being a flyer and a ghost type is op for top tier evasiveness 3. Upgrade(Catalyst), very powerful in terms of hacks 4. XLR8(Reptailer), this level of speed is very powerful given the right situation 5. Benwolf(Howler), good for tracking, has great agility, and the howl ability is a great plus 6. Ampfibian(Hydrozone(play on hydrozoan=jellyfish)), as an underwater alien is required for the versatility which makes the omnitrix so good in the first place plus he’s super underrated as he can also fly, has electrical powers, AND can read minds. Must have in my opinion. 7. Grey matter(Inkling), for the smarts and his size allows for a tactical retreat to think a situation through + versatility 8. Lodestar(Disruptor), incredible durability, any enemy that’s even slightly metallic or in a metallic setting is cooked However, for a user that prefers busted aliens, Gravattack(Mass Effect) has very similar abilities without the limitation regarding material, so it’s a perfect alternative 9. Humongousaur(Scale- as in size or an actual scale(+scale for weight)). I know most people prefer the other strength aliens, and I do to design wise and because he’s overused in the show, however this playlist requires a powerhouse, especially size wise and having a strong and durable alien that can scale and grow really fills the gaps for what the other aliens will have trouble against However, he can easily be replaced with Armodrillo(Beefquake), it’s really a coin flip or a preference thing. 10. Felt wrong not to include diamondhead(Gemstash) in a Ben ten playlist, I was gonna go Feedback(Backlash) to deal with any energy blasts but diamondhead can refract energy like in the first episode, although it’s much more complicated, but that’s with great durability, and the insanely sharp and durable shapeshifting arms and powerful crystal projectiles, so I’ll go with that Tried to make the playlist balanced as well
Ngl you needed Heatblast on here. Heatblast doesn’t just make fire, he controls fire in EVERY, SINGLE, ASPECT. He could fly with it, throw projectiles with it, absorb surrounding fire, go supernova, is immune to fire, can make fire not hot so he could transport people and luggage with it without them burning. He is so versatile and everything cool about fire powers. You NEED him.

My custom/ideal playlist and custome names would be : 1. Armadrillo or Juggavator (Strong guy) - Just a stong guy with drill hands to make punches more devastating or he can be used to sneak underground for surpise attacks. 2. Diamondhead or Gem-A-Knight (Durable) - He is pretty durable and can create walls of crystal and has some minor shapeshifting to form weapons or tools with his hands. 4. Jetray or Skyray (Flyer/Speedster/Aquatic) - One of the fastest flyers in the omnitrix who can breath in both space and underwater and has lazer beams hat cna fire from both his eyes and tail. 5. Swampfire or Bogburn (Elemental) - Strong, shoots fire, controls plantlife, cna regenrate from anything and can spray various gases to either knock people out or for a bigger boom when ignited. 6. Greymatter or Brainiac (Smart) - The smartest there is and being small has its advantges for evasion and stealth. 7. Buzzshock or Duocell (Electric/Cloning/Teleporter) - This little guy can regenerate and dupelicate if cut into 2 or more and can teleport and trave via electrical currents and fire off energy bolts to boot. 8. Lodestar or Polarity (Mangetic) - Can regenerate and control anythng with a mangnetic pull to both attract and repel anything made of metal or anything/anyone with enough metal in or on them. 9. Ghostfreak or Specterror (Fear/Flght/Telekenis/Mind-Control/Invsable/Intangable) - Cool spooky ghost that cna go through walls, hide from enemies, fly and possess others with the power to also move objects around mentally too. 10. Clockwork or Timeout (Powerhouse) - He can control the flow of time and move around as if time is frozen or just rewind events for either detective work or to get an advantage mid-fight by redoing a fight now knowing how it plays out. Can also reverse the destruction of a chronosapien time bomb too.

Yeah NRG is an underrated pick for fire alien concerns, plus the radiation resistant is highly useful. *NEW NAME: Tinclear* a nuclear tinman) 9- Amphibian (One of the most slept on aliens, the number of powers this guy has is absolutely insane and is easily the best pick for an electric alien in my opinion. *NEW NAME: Jelletric* a jellyfish that is electric) 10- Gravattack (I let myself pick only one OP alien, the ace in the hole, and Gravattack is by far the most useful one, only rivaled by clockwork. the gravity powers are so useful for so many situations its absurd! Easily the OP alien i'd choose. *NEW NAME: Singularis* it's a name that's based on the word singularity, but i gave it this "-aris" type of name to make it sounds more deity-like)
To me the categories (based on the originals) were always: Strength - (four arms, humongosaur, etc) Speed - (xlr8, jetray, fasttrack) Flight - (stinkfly and I guess big chill or something) Intelligence - (grey matter, brainstorm) Water - (ripjaws, ampfibian) Power output/energy - (heatblast, chromastone) Sensory - (wildmutt, eye guy maybe) Tech - (upgrade, juryrigg) Fear/stealth? - (ghostfreak, bigchill?) Durability?/defence?/versatility? - (diamond head, cannonbolt, swampfire, bloxx) The categories do get a bit iffy, tbh the categories can kinda depend which aliens you've already chosen, like jetray covers speed, flight and water, allowing you to have other categories. Comparing og 10 to af 10 there might be a fire and an amorphous category. You could really have any category like duplication (ditto, echo echo, buzzshock) or energy absorption (upchuck, chromastone, eatle, feedback) and everyone loves the idea of the powerhouse category

I made a playlist awhile ago with this similar premise so it's cool to watch this video *Big chill -> Ghoul Ise* One of my favourite aliens and was my first choice, I also wanted to spell ice with S instead 🤷♂️ also Big chill is an op alien, intangibility and ice power with resistance to extreme temperatures too. We also see how he can handle heavy hitters like Vilgax (Ben shouldve kept freezing him instead of letting Vilgax just walk up and grab him) or Exo skull (who is shown man handling Rath, knocking Ben out of Fourarms, along with breaking a crystal helmet made of Diamondhead) *Heatblast -> Hell bringer* Yeah it's edgy asf... it wasn't my favourite name but still heatblast is goated also the heavy fire power is always welcomed but also the fact this alien is quite agile and can use chunks of the ground to fly or end up potential ramming into something big is a bonus. *XLR8 -> Speed Demon* Idk I didn't want to just name him after an element like with wind or lightning because that's too simple. Speed is always a need *Echo echo -> Echo chamber* Self explanatory and I think it's cool, duplication and sound manipulation can go very hard. *Humungousaur -> Titan-Rex* Because ya'know Greek titans and just the word titan is often associated with huge/size, then you can funnily enough shorten it to T-Rex :) *Wampire -> Trance-ular* The name takes from obviously word trance for its ability to hypnotize and then Dracula but I added an R because I like the look with an R more than without. Now I think this alien is also a decent alien that can do a good few things also in my playlist I wanted to include one monster/Halloween alien. *Rath -> Malice* Just an alien I have a soft spot for, still with uses but not particularly haxxed or op. Just an alien that can be a solid fighter shown with how Rath has multiple fighting techniques. *Astrodactle -> Terror-Song* My flyer alien, I love dinosaurs so another dino alien even though he isn't a favourite in the fandom. He also can use his energy in many ways whether for boost in speed or whips. *Brainstorm -> Brain Hazard* He's the brains of my aliens and I like the crab dude... *Clockworks -> Clock-Watch* He is here for my trump card alien. Essentially when the situation gets to an extreme where I'd need an op alien, I didn't want to be predictable with like "oh Alien X" This is my playlist, there aliens I thought of having over some of these others but I think that's more reason my list is like this because a playlist even in Ben 10 Ben doesn't just get his most preferred or favourite aliens in a single playlist.

Jetray can (probably) breath under water. (Not sure if this is confirmed) He can basically fast travel in space, just going suuper fast (But maybe that's just cus he's got a large open space and he can speed up infinitely? Idk, its still super useful even if he cant dash around enemies like XLR8) He got generic lasers, I do think a lot of tech would have energy shields that either absorb or deflect them but it'd be really good for the ones that don't as he can fly while shooting from a distance to ensure he doesn't get hit, even if the enemy also has ranged weapons JetRay is faster. We don't know if the lasers have heat or something but if they do than he can use it to weld metal like superman does on stuff to prevent bridges from breaking and all that. He can fly, its his whole deal. So he's a water alien, Speedster alien, A flying alien with lasers. A lot of the more useful aliens I don't really like visually, and Jetray is the prime example of that for me. I like how alien he looks and is but damn he is ugly (In my subjective opinion) The compeition for water aliens when it comes to Jetray is Ripjaws, walkatrout and Ditto, I'm pretty sure that's it. For ditto he can probably only swim as well as a human, maybe even worse. For walkatrout he is only good with master control because so what if you slip out of an enemies grasp when you are still walkatrout after? He can make enemies slip and fall but unless they hit there head hard Ben can't take advantage of the situatuon as walkatrout unless there is a weapon/cuffs nearby that Walkatrout is capable of grabbing. Ripjaws is really good underwater, but aside from biting things real good he is basically human level, I think that a pro boxer can beat ripjaws if he wasn't allowed to bite
Echo Echo, Clockwork, and Way Big are always my three must-haves (I also have a playlist with non-Ben 10 aliens on it, but they make that list) In terms of other Ben 10 exclusive aliens, XLR8 and Upgrade are just too good for their versatility. I would always pick Grey Matter for the objective best intelligence boost, and being a little guy would have its advantages. I like Swampfire for being a mix of elemental and plant. Diamondhead is one I like a lot and he's a versatile brawler, so I'll include him. I want a flyer, so Big Chill will do. And finally...Goop. Just cuz I like Goop :P

It doesn't come up often, but having an alien that can go on aquatic adventures while still being useful outside of water feels important. (also could've been Jetray didn't feel like it) Grey Matter - smart, small. Could've been Brainstorm but electric powers overlap with Ampfibian's. Can travel through tight spaces. Cannonbolt - speed, strength, durability. Slower than XLR8 and Fasttrack but still faster than most other aliens. His raw power and durability arguably make up for the lost speed, and if he falls from an aircraft, this is the go-to option if he doesn't get a flyer. Echo Echo - sound, duplication. By this point I was just trying to find an alien that filled multiple categories. In this case he has elemental powers and a niche combat ability that isn't centered around offense or mobility. Goop - goo, amporphous body. This is weird, but a small handful of Ben's aliens have the elemental (?) power of goo/slime (the others are Stinkfly, Spitter, and Ball Weevil). It's not a necessary ability, but compared to elements like fire and ice, slime is a much more versatile substance that can believably be anything from sticky to slippery to acidic. I chose Goop over Stinkfly and Ball Weevil just because I didn't need another flyer yet (all of them have powers that fall into other categories anyway) and Ball Weevil's mode of travel is already very similar to Cannonbolt's. Goop's unique body type also just allows for more creative fights. Big Chill - flight, intangibility, ice. Like Echo Echo I was just looking for another elemental alien with a miscellaneous ability. I prioritized ice because it can also be used to immobilize opponents. And while I know I just said I wasn't looking for another flyer, Big Chill happened to fit the bill. Spidermonkey - web, agility, extra limbs. I actually picked Spidermonkey because I was trying to choose between Four Arms and Humungousaur for the main close range fighter. The main advantage they have over other fighting aliens like Rath and Kickin Hawk is that they have extra limbs to use, but when I realized that Spidermonkey also has four arms and that his webs can serve a similar purpose to Bullfrag's prehensile tongue, I chose him. Humungousaur - strength. Kind of funny that it took this long to get to a straightforward fighter. I considered other aliens for this role, but being a dinosaur and one of Ben's larger transformations communicates power more immediately. I was tempted to put Rath here, but his strong personality and stupidity could easily turn a serious fight into a joke. He's definitely up there as a supplementary strong guy for when Ben starts unlocking more aliens, but I'm not as confident about him being the sole physical fighter at the start of a new series. Diamondhead - strength, durability, shapeshifting, projectiles, regeneration. Similar physicality to other strength-based aliens, but has much more versatile close and long range abilities. Good all-around fighter. Swampfire - fire, plants. A lot of elemental aliens like Water Hazard and Terraspin simply shoot streams of their respective elements, but Swampfire combines Wildvine's diverse arsenal (plant control, regeneration, etc.) with Heatblast's fire. I wanted to include an OV alien like Crashhopper, Bullfrag, or even Gutrot at some point, but Swampfire's versatility is hard to pass up. I didn't want to include a powerhouse in the initial lineup since I didn't want to trivialize Ben's other 9 options, but I'd be perfectly fine with aliens like Way Big, Alien X or Atomix being added to his roster later. Other aliens like Feedback, XLR8, and Heatblast are also definitely deserving of additional spots to provide stronger/ more specialized alternatives to the existing playlist. FYI the categories I used for this were: speed, swimming, flight, strength, intelligence, electricity, slime, elements, miscellaneous (duplication, time, gravity, etc.), powerhouses. They aren't perfect categories, but I think they capture most of what Ben's aliens can do.
Took me a bit but I came up with a playlist of my own. Diamondhead (A tank and a sorta earth bender type, also he's always been my favorite alien so I might use him a bit to much sometimes, which is an interesting plot hurdle to get over. ) Blitzwolfler ( probably call him sometime basic like werewolf, tho I always like cryptids and monsters so I ended up picking a few of them.) Frakenstrike( I'd probably use him as a fighter at first only to later realize that he actually is fairly smart and start using that aspect of him more) Ghostfreak ( Can fly go intangible and possess people. A lot of cool powers and plot wise I could see me having a fondness of him give that I always felt a bit ignored or seen through, like a ghost, only to have him split from me and be Ze scare.) Upgrade ( Not much to say here he's just a very useful alien to have around.) Echo echo ( similar to upgrade I can't say much he's just very useful but I would probably call him soundboard give then the fact that I was the sound guy at my church for a bit there.) Big chill ( Now I know I have two aliens that can fly and go intangible but I feel like they can be used in enough different ways to be fine. Plus he very loosely reminded me of moth man fitting the cryptid thing.) Swampfire ( I have a ice alien I needed a fire one and I think swampfire is cool. I would probably call him forsetfire or something.) Wampire ( Good at physical combat, can mind control people and continues the monster theme I got going, only thing I'm kinda not sure about is the name.) Snare-oh (It "wraps" up the monster theme, get it , wraps, he's a mummy. Ok that sucked.)

One issue that I ran into with my list is the smear mistake I saw you make. I am sorry to say it but: Frankenstrike was retconned. No longer are Transyllians the second smartest aliens in the universe. As of OV, the celestial Sapiens made them pretty much fleshier versions of Shocksquatch. Now, there is actually logic behind this: Because the smartest Transyllians have proven able to resurrect the one species able to kill celestial Sapiens (Dr. Victor resurrected Lord Transyl) it makes sense the Celestial Sapiens would want to keep their only predator dead. It is similar to how in DC canon the reason Kryptonians lose their powers near Red Stars and Kryptonite and Martians are vulnerable to fire is because the Guardians of the Universe feared the specieses growing too powerful.
Aren't Vladats also predators of Transylians? Viktor only assisted in reviving Transyl, and even then he voiced his disapproval. The Celestialsapiens wouldn't have to worry about Transylians reviving the Vladats if the Transylians don't *want* to revive the Vladats.

Same big Chill has always been my favorite. Oh yay Armadrillo is a power house that's why i chose him NRG i understood why. I thought of choosing him, but my forgetfulness would forget he radiates radiation. Jet Ray could have been a nice choice considering you can travel in space at fast speeds. Upgrade is a nice choice he is very useful.

I would put in Ghostfreak or Bigchill over Wildvine if the Omnitrix could prevent any Ecto Neurite conscious from developing from the DNA sample and taking over or prevent asexually having kids as a Necro Fridgion. I also considered Cannonbolt over Diamond head but I prefer having the diamond (tedontite?) generation.
This list was made to have a balanced set of powers with no overlap (hence why I didn't put extra strong guys like Four Arms and Rath) while also not picking aliens that might do more harm than good (Heat blast setting things in fire, Way Big being so huge he is more likely to step on something than defend it and Humongasaur can control his size).

1.Swampfire(Stemblaze/Powerplant), plant powers means tons of versatility and scalable strength, plus fire powers for brute force
2. Big chill(Frostblight), cryo is underrated as an ability, eating metal can dismantle machinery, and being a flyer and a ghost type is op for top tier evasiveness
3. Upgrade(Catalyst), very powerful in terms of hacks
4. XLR8(Reptailer), this level of speed is very powerful given the right situation
5. Benwolf(Howler), good for tracking, has great agility, and the howl ability is a great plus
6. Ampfibian(Hydrozone(play on hydrozoan=jellyfish)), as an underwater alien is required for the versatility which makes the omnitrix so good in the first place plus he’s super underrated as he can also fly, has electrical powers, AND can read minds. Must have in my opinion.
7. Grey matter(Inkling), for the smarts and his size allows for a tactical retreat to think a situation through + versatility
8. Lodestar(Disruptor), incredible durability, any enemy that’s even slightly metallic or in a metallic setting is cooked
However, for a user that prefers busted aliens, Gravattack(Mass Effect) has very similar abilities without the limitation regarding material, so it’s a perfect alternative
9. Humongousaur(Scale- as in size or an actual scale(+scale for weight)). I know most people prefer the other strength aliens, and I do to design wise and because he’s overused in the show, however this playlist requires a powerhouse, especially size wise and having a strong and durable alien that can scale and grow really fills the gaps for what the other aliens will have trouble against
However, he can easily be replaced with Armodrillo(Beefquake), it’s really a coin flip or a preference thing.
10. Felt wrong not to include diamondhead(Gemstash) in a Ben ten playlist, I was gonna go Feedback(Backlash) to deal with any energy blasts but diamondhead can refract energy like in the first episode, although it’s much more complicated, but that’s with great durability, and the insanely sharp and durable shapeshifting arms and powerful crystal projectiles, so I’ll go with that

Ngl you needed Heatblast on here. Heatblast doesn’t just make fire, he controls fire in EVERY, SINGLE, ASPECT. He could fly with it, throw projectiles with it, absorb surrounding fire, go supernova, is immune to fire, can make fire not hot so he could transport people and luggage with it without them burning. He is so versatile and everything cool about fire powers. You NEED him.

2. Brainstorm: Hyper-intelligence. High level electric powers.
3. Rath: Excellent durability, strength and combat skills.
4. Jetray: High-speed flight. Energy blasts. Space survival and underwater breathing.
5. Cannonbolt: nigh-invulnerable wrecking ball. Strong enough to defeat Kevin 11
6. Way Big: powerhouse alien. Cosmic beams and giant size. Strong but makes sense why not used every fight.
7. Water hazard: well rounded alien. Water powers. Tough shell. Agile & strong.
8. Gravattach: gravity powers useful in many contexts. strong and tough.
9. Gutrot: interesting chemistry powers. can potentially make almost any chemical.

1. Armadrillo or Juggavator (Strong guy) - Just a stong guy with drill hands to make punches more devastating or he can be used to sneak underground for surpise attacks.
2. Diamondhead or Gem-A-Knight (Durable) - He is pretty durable and can create walls of crystal and has some minor shapeshifting to form weapons or tools with his hands.
4. Jetray or Skyray (Flyer/Speedster/Aquatic) - One of the fastest flyers in the omnitrix who can breath in both space and underwater and has lazer beams hat cna fire from both his eyes and tail.
5. Swampfire or Bogburn (Elemental) - Strong, shoots fire, controls plantlife, cna regenrate from anything and can spray various gases to either knock people out or for a bigger boom when ignited.
6. Greymatter or Brainiac (Smart) - The smartest there is and being small has its advantges for evasion and stealth.
7. Buzzshock or Duocell (Electric/Cloning/Teleporter) - This little guy can regenerate and dupelicate if cut into 2 or more and can teleport and trave via electrical currents and fire off energy bolts to boot.
8. Lodestar or Polarity (Mangetic) - Can regenerate and control anythng with a mangnetic pull to both attract and repel anything made of metal or anything/anyone with enough metal in or on them.
9. Ghostfreak or Specterror (Fear/Flght/Telekenis/Mind-Control/Invsable/Intangable) - Cool spooky ghost that cna go through walls, hide from enemies, fly and possess others with the power to also move objects around mentally too.
10. Clockwork or Timeout (Powerhouse) - He can control the flow of time and move around as if time is frozen or just rewind events for either detective work or to get an advantage mid-fight by redoing a fight now knowing how it plays out. 1- Four Arms (While not as strong as Humongosaur, and not as good of a hand-to-hand fighter as Kicken-Hawk, the, well, four arms, the ability to jump high, the seismic clap, all of that leads to something pretty useful. He'd probably be my go-to as it doesn't seem to be too much of a personality/intelligence change either. *NEW NAME: Army Worker* because its a pun on a person who works in the army)
2- XLR8 (yeah no duh, Jetray may technically be faster but XLR8, ya know, you need the ground speed and ability to control it. *NEW NAME: Turbotile* combining Turbo, and reptile)
3- Grey Matter (Brainstorm may have more power with the electricity, but Galvans are smarter, and the small size can be helpful. *NEW NAME: Thinkpole* thinking tadpole)
4- Upgrade (In a world where technology is integrated into society everywhere, plus his more nanite based body allowing him to morph and come back together he's a no brainer pick. *NEW NAME: T.E.N.B.O (Technologically Enhanced Nanite Based Organism)* )
5- Spider Monkey (His relatively small size, the agile reflexes, and the versatility of web shooting makes him awesome. also I love Spider-Man. *his new name??* uhhh.. i'd just keep it the same because, again, Spider-Man, Spider-Monkey, maybe spider-chimp or something if i really had to change)
6- Big Chill (Probably the best, and COOLEST option for a flyer with this kit, because the ability to freeze, go intangible, all of that, makes him an ideal. *NEW NAME: Mothermia* a moth that'll give you hypothermia)
7- Chromastone (I just love this guy. Also the energy manipulation, absorption, etc. plus the durability that ultimate alien astonishingly forgot is great, already GOATed pick. *NEW NAME: Opallite* opals are gemstones that are rainbow colored)
8- NRG (Y'all pick Heatblast or swampfire for the best fire alien.. BUT I GO NUCLEAR TO WIN! Yeah NRG is an underrated pick for fire alien concerns, plus the radiation resistant is highly useful. *NEW NAME: Tinclear* a nuclear tinman)
9- Amphibian (One of the most slept on aliens, the number of powers this guy has is absolutely insane and is easily the best pick for an electric alien in my opinion. *NEW NAME: Jelletric* a jellyfish that is electric)
10- Gravattack (I let myself pick only one OP alien, the ace in the hole, and Gravattack is by far the most useful one, only rivaled by clockwork. the gravity powers are so useful for so many situations its absurd! Easily the OP alien i'd choose. *NEW NAME: Singularis* it's a name that's based on the word singularity, but i gave it this "-aris" type of name to make it sounds more deity-like)

The categories do get a bit iffy, tbh the categories can kinda depend which aliens you've already chosen, like jetray covers speed, flight and water, allowing you to have other categories.

You could really have any category like duplication (ditto, echo echo, buzzshock) or energy absorption (upchuck, chromastone, eatle, feedback) and everyone loves the idea of the powerhouse category

One of my favourite aliens and was my first choice, I also wanted to spell ice with S instead 🤷♂️ also Big chill is an op alien, intangibility and ice power with resistance to extreme temperatures too. We also see how he can handle heavy hitters like Vilgax (Ben shouldve kept freezing him instead of letting Vilgax just walk up and grab him) or Exo skull (who is shown man handling Rath, knocking Ben out of Fourarms, along with breaking a crystal helmet made of Diamondhead)

Yeah it's edgy asf... it wasn't my favourite name but still heatblast is goated also the heavy fire power is always welcomed but also the fact this alien is quite agile and can use chunks of the ground to fly or end up potential ramming into something big is a bonus.

The name takes from obviously word trance for its ability to hypnotize and then Dracula but I added an R because I like the look with an R more than without. Now I think this alien is also a decent alien that can do a good few things also in my playlist I wanted to include one monster/Halloween alien.

Just an alien I have a soft spot for, still with uses but not particularly haxxed or op. Just an alien that can be a solid fighter shown with how Rath has multiple fighting techniques.

Jetray can (probably) breath under water. (Not sure if this is confirmed)
He can basically fast travel in space, just going suuper fast (But maybe that's just cus he's got a large open space and he can speed up infinitely? Idk, its still super useful even if he cant dash around enemies like XLR8)
He got generic lasers, I do think a lot of tech would have energy shields that either absorb or deflect them but it'd be really good for the ones that don't as he can fly while shooting from a distance to ensure he doesn't get hit, even if the enemy also has ranged weapons JetRay is faster. We don't know if the lasers have heat or something but if they do than he can use it to weld metal like superman does on stuff to prevent bridges from breaking and all that.
He can fly, its his whole deal.
So he's a water alien, Speedster alien, A flying alien with lasers.
A lot of the more useful aliens I don't really like visually, and Jetray is the prime example of that for me. I like how alien he looks and is but damn he is ugly (In my subjective opinion)
The compeition for water aliens when it comes to Jetray is Ripjaws, walkatrout and Ditto, I'm pretty sure that's it.
For ditto he can probably only swim as well as a human, maybe even worse.
For walkatrout he is only good with master control because so what if you slip out of an enemies grasp when you are still walkatrout after? He can make enemies slip and fall but unless they hit there head hard Ben can't take advantage of the situatuon as walkatrout unless there is a weapon/cuffs nearby that Walkatrout is capable of grabbing.
Ripjaws is really good underwater, but aside from biting things real good he is basically human level, I think that a pro boxer can beat ripjaws if he wasn't allowed to bite
Echo Echo, Clockwork, and Way Big are always my three must-haves (I also have a playlist with non-Ben 10 aliens on it, but they make that list)
In terms of other Ben 10 exclusive aliens, XLR8 and Upgrade are just too good for their versatility. I would always pick Grey Matter for the objective best intelligence boost, and being a little guy would have its advantages. I like Swampfire for being a mix of elemental and plant. Diamondhead is one I like a lot and he's a versatile brawler, so I'll include him. I want a flyer, so Big Chill will do. And finally...Goop. Just cuz I like Goop :P

I would definitely pick jetray for the flight alien purely because of his speed
Ampfibian - electricity, flight, and most importantly swimming. It doesn't come up often, but having an alien that can go on aquatic adventures while still being useful outside of water feels important. (also could've been Jetray didn't feel like it)
Grey Matter - smart, small. Could've been Brainstorm but electric powers overlap with Ampfibian's. Can travel through tight spaces.
Cannonbolt - speed, strength, durability. Slower than XLR8 and Fasttrack but still faster than most other aliens. His raw power and durability arguably make up for the lost speed, and if he falls from an aircraft, this is the go-to option if he doesn't get a flyer.
Echo Echo - sound, duplication. By this point I was just trying to find an alien that filled multiple categories. In this case he has elemental powers and a niche combat ability that isn't centered around offense or mobility.
Goop - goo, amporphous body. This is weird, but a small handful of Ben's aliens have the elemental (?) power of goo/slime (the others are Stinkfly, Spitter, and Ball Weevil). It's not a necessary ability, but compared to elements like fire and ice, slime is a much more versatile substance that can believably be anything from sticky to slippery to acidic. I chose Goop over Stinkfly and Ball Weevil just because I didn't need another flyer yet (all of them have powers that fall into other categories anyway) and Ball Weevil's mode of travel is already very similar to Cannonbolt's. Goop's unique body type also just allows for more creative fights.
Big Chill - flight, intangibility, ice. Like Echo Echo I was just looking for another elemental alien with a miscellaneous ability. I prioritized ice because it can also be used to immobilize opponents. And while I know I just said I wasn't looking for another flyer, Big Chill happened to fit the bill.
Spidermonkey - web, agility, extra limbs. I actually picked Spidermonkey because I was trying to choose between Four Arms and Humungousaur for the main close range fighter. The main advantage they have over other fighting aliens like Rath and Kickin Hawk is that they have extra limbs to use, but when I realized that Spidermonkey also has four arms and that his webs can serve a similar purpose to Bullfrag's prehensile tongue, I chose him.
Humungousaur - strength. Kind of funny that it took this long to get to a straightforward fighter. I considered other aliens for this role, but being a dinosaur and one of Ben's larger transformations communicates power more immediately. I was tempted to put Rath here, but his strong personality and stupidity could easily turn a serious fight into a joke. He's definitely up there as a supplementary strong guy for when Ben starts unlocking more aliens, but I'm not as confident about him being the sole physical fighter at the start of a new series.
Diamondhead - strength, durability, shapeshifting, projectiles, regeneration. Similar physicality to other strength-based aliens, but has much more versatile close and long range abilities. Good all-around fighter.
Swampfire - fire, plants. A lot of elemental aliens like Water Hazard and Terraspin simply shoot streams of their respective elements, but Swampfire combines Wildvine's diverse arsenal (plant control, regeneration, etc.) with Heatblast's fire. I wanted to include an OV alien like Crashhopper, Bullfrag, or even Gutrot at some point, but Swampfire's versatility is hard to pass up.
I didn't want to include a powerhouse in the initial lineup since I didn't want to trivialize Ben's other 9 options, but I'd be perfectly fine with aliens like Way Big, Alien X or Atomix being added to his roster later. Other aliens like Feedback, XLR8, and Heatblast are also definitely deserving of additional spots to provide stronger/ more specialized alternatives to the existing playlist.
FYI the categories I used for this were: speed, swimming, flight, strength, intelligence, electricity, slime, elements, miscellaneous (duplication, time, gravity, etc.), powerhouses. They aren't perfect categories, but I think they capture most of what Ben's aliens can do.

Diamondhead (A tank and a sorta earth bender type, also he's always been my favorite alien so I might use him a bit to much sometimes, which is an interesting plot hurdle to get over. )
Blitzwolfler ( probably call him sometime basic like werewolf, tho I always like cryptids and monsters so I ended up picking a few of them.)
Frakenstrike( I'd probably use him as a fighter at first only to later realize that he actually is fairly smart and start using that aspect of him more)
Ghostfreak ( Can fly go intangible and possess people. A lot of cool powers and plot wise I could see me having a fondness of him give that I always felt a bit ignored or seen through, like a ghost, only to have him split from me and be Ze scare.)
Upgrade ( Not much to say here he's just a very useful alien to have around.)
Echo echo ( similar to upgrade I can't say much he's just very useful but I would probably call him soundboard give then the fact that I was the sound guy at my church for a bit there.)
Big chill ( Now I know I have two aliens that can fly and go intangible but I feel like they can be used in enough different ways to be fine. Plus he very loosely reminded me of moth man fitting the cryptid thing.)
Swampfire ( I have a ice alien I needed a fire one and I think swampfire is cool. I would probably call him forsetfire or something.)
Wampire ( Good at physical combat, can mind control people and continues the monster theme I got going, only thing I'm kinda not sure about is the name.)
Snare-oh (It "wraps" up the monster theme, get it , wraps, he's a mummy. Ok that sucked.)

One issue that I ran into with my list is the smear mistake I saw you make. I am sorry to say it but: Frankenstrike was retconned. No longer are Transyllians the second smartest aliens in the universe. As of OV, the celestial Sapiens made them pretty much fleshier versions of Shocksquatch.
Now, there is actually logic behind this: Because the smartest Transyllians have proven able to resurrect the one species able to kill celestial Sapiens (Dr. Victor resurrected Lord Transyl) it makes sense the Celestial Sapiens would want to keep their only predator dead. It is similar to how in DC canon the reason Kryptonians lose their powers near Red Stars and Kryptonite and Martians are vulnerable to fire is because the Guardians of the Universe feared the specieses growing too powerful.
Aren't Vladats also predators of Transylians? Viktor only assisted in reviving Transyl, and even then he voiced his disapproval. The Celestialsapiens wouldn't have to worry about Transylians reviving the Vladats if the Transylians don't *want* to revive the Vladats.

I saw a lot of people putting way-big or alien-X on their tierlist as their big trump-card powerhouse alien however I omitted both of these aliens assuming this is a starter playlist since they would be way too OP to be the powerhouse of playlist 1
Though a simple " Playlist 2 as Playlist 1 " concept ( consisting of every additional alien ben gets in classic minus 2 to make it only 10 aliens - personally I'd cut buzzshock and frakenstrike ) would be cool too.
