      @@stefanhodgden The easiest thing to do is contact Nama directly at namawell.com/pages/support-page and tell them to cancel the order. Once they do, you can place a new order with the CODE, as when I last checked, they were unable to add a coupon to a previously placed order.

    Thanks for for all the great info! I used the code last week and my Nama J2 arrived yesterday! It works amazing! I’ve been juicing my whole life and this is by far the best user experience I’ve had! And as good if not better juice than I’ve had. Great product and thank you for testing and promoting it! I will be buying 2 more to give to my adult children for Christmas. That way I can always make fresh juice when I’m visiting with them! Wink Wink! PS it was a pleasure meeting you once about 4 years ago at a business training seminar in AZ. We chatting in the check in line. So glad you’re business is going strong. Appreciate you!

    Just got my J2 today it’s amazing. Tried a Breville first and returned it. Love how quiet and peaceful this juicer is the Breville was like an airplane taking off. Also the juice quality is amazing and the hopper is a great time saver. Plus the build quality is much better. Understand the Breville was $200 and this cost $495 with the code but I think it will pay for itself with how much more juice it makes. The Breville felt wasteful with the wet pulp and limited juice.

    I should receive my Nama J2 on Tuesday. Very excited to have a juicer that I don't have to babysit. I had a Breville (bought in 2013) and I do have to say it was a workhorse, but the time put in sometimes didn't make it worth the effort. Gave it to my niece. I'm putting together my shopping list for favorite juices. Thanks for the info.

    I bought this juicer from YOUR site yesterday! I'm so excited, I had been using a 'never die' Champion from the 80s!!! I mean, it did juice everything, but the time and loudness were insane and I was ready to move into the new century, lol. For anyone wondering if you should use the coupon from Nama instead of buying from John, realize that Nama charges for shipping (it was nearly $50 to NYC), so the price was literally $3 apart and to get the customer service from John's company is a benefit...(I think!)...I also used a coupon code from Discount Juicers(TENSPOT), so that helped too ;-)

    Greetings John
    Well I bought a "cheapo" juicer to try out and its ok, but after seeing your video on the Nama J2 juicer I know I will be purchasing it. I did try calling Nama customer service and was on hold for 6-8 minutes and then got a message to leave a message ????? I wanted to ask a few questions. I do like the fact that the motor has a 10 year warranty, but the 2 year warranty on all other parts was rather strange as the J2 is not a really cheapo juicer. I have looked at so many videos on juicers and finally the J2 was the best choice I think. Easy operation and cleaning and the process of making juice couldn't be easier ! I will be a juicer for life as its the best way to get vitamins and minerals in your daily diet and I have really noticed a difference in the way I feel. Thank you for your videos and getting folks on to juicing !!!

      Nama's business has increased faster than their customer service team. I am glad to say they now have hired more customer service reps, so they can better handle the volume of calls and emails they get. I would also love to tell you that Nama recently increased the warranty to 15 years on the ENTIRE machine! If you had previously purchased you get 15 Years!!

    Thank you for all your reviews! I have been juicing since 1999 and I am also looking to make higher quality juice but in a more streamlined way. What is your experience for the Nama J2 vs Hurom H300? I know Hurom manufacturers the Nama and have seen the Nama has older technology of the screen (a little more time to clean) vs. the newer technology on the Hurom H300.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      First, I have NO experience with the H300 other than seeing some videos about it online. I have tested the H200 vs Nama J2 at th-cam.com/video/pmIV4v9xaMQ/w-d-xo.html While you can say the H300 is "newer technology" (screenless design) there are PROS and CONS. a pro is that it is claimed to be easier cleaning, but the BIG CON is that it puts more pulp in the juice, and based on what I have seen makes a lower yield. At this point, I would get the Nama J2, as the screen design is PROVEN technology, and the SCREENLESS design, IMO still needs much improvement to compete with the sheer yield and quality of juice made with a more traditional screen. It is on my to do list to test the H300 vs J2 once the H300 is available in the USA. Which will probably prove what I am saying in this comment.

      Richard Gray is Right. I would say Vacuum Blending + Alexa's nut milk bag, as you do the least oxidation to the antioxidants so a greater content is IN the juice to protect it during storage. That being said, it is critical to follow my other techniques if you want to store juice with minimal nutrient loss I share at: th-cam.com/video/kQI2x5x-DLw/w-d-xo.html That being said, I use the Nama J2 to make the majority of my juices and I do store my juices for 7 days with minimal nutrient loss based on the taste and color of the juice over time.

      @richardgray8593 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I believe Vacuum Blending Is the best juicing technology to get the highest nutrition and yield. That being said, I find the Nama J2 easier to use, and a much faster process. That being said,Vacuum blending + Alexa's Nut Milk Bag is my 2nd preferred method to juice if I don't use the Nama. In the cases of high fruits with greens and/or high cost produce items (turmeric/ginger/ginseng) I am more likely to use the Vacuum Juicing technique. So it just depends. You can watch the video at th-cam.com/video/7ILENcNpVOw/w-d-xo.html where I compare the Nama J2 and Vacuum Juicing technology. For the win, get a Nama J2 and Dynapro and Alexa's nut milk bag and you will have the best of both worlds, depending on your recipe and how much work you want to do that day. It is very impractical to juice 9 quarts in the Dynapro + Alexas's Bag, where-as I will make 1-2 quarts with vacuum juicing.

    Hi John, is it easy to clean?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      "easy to clean" is a subjective opinion. What is easy to one, is not easy to another. I have seen many J2 customers describe it as "easy".. That being said. I Can put it this way: I would rather clean the Sana 727 that takes me 1.5 minutes instead of the Nama J2 that takes me 4-5 minutes. But I would rather clean the Nama J2 (4-5 minutes) than the Green Star pro that takes 5-7 minutes. In general this machine is not that difficult to clean, but there is alot of surface area that needs to be washed after use.

    Planning to just juice carrots personally. Which one does it better this or the Sana 727? The Sana has a brushless motor but I would like to know which motor has the best torque and horsepower. I ask since the motor on a cheapo juicer died after a few hardish carrots. The warranty on the Nama is troublesome since you just know those plastic hinge parts are going to break sooner or later but I can't deny how streamlined juicing in that thing would be for the rest of the family for the fruits. I also realize that the parts on the Sana seem to be easier to replace for the company while the Nama company has the blade to deal with as well as the extra parts that enable more convenience. Although in that case putting warranty on everything except blade for 2 years would make more sense to have my sale.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      On root veggies, the Sana 727 and Nama J2 are fairly evenly matched. Both have strong motors that can handle carrots without issue. I have had the 727 stop and auto reverse (it sensed and overload) MORE than the Nama J2 shutting off due to too thick produce (rarely ever happens). If doing small quantities, I would go for the sana (less than 1 quart) over 1 quart and the 727 screen will get impacted wtih pulp and 1) will put more pulp in the juice and 2) may lower yield you will get. Honestly, a twin gear is more effective at juicing only carrots than auger juicers, so in that case, the green star pro.

      The Nama J2 will leave pulp in the juice for sure, I double sieve my juice to remove pulp, and dont find it a difficult task. That being said, the PURE Juicer will make a pulp-free juice but its $2500. All slow juicers (which are under $1000) will leave pulp in the juice. High speed juicers tend to leave less pulp inn the juice, but in my opinion, there is also less nutrition in the juice due to oxidation, and that style juicer can leave wet pulp and not handle leafy greens well.

    What about the oxidation from movement?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว

      All juicers will oxidize juicer, some more and some less. High Speed juicers can run up to 20,000 RPMS and oxidize the juice alot. High Speed Blenders also oxidzize the juice since they run 10,000+ RPM's as well. The Nama J2 runs at 50 RPMs which is quite low, and this juicer will minimally oxidize your juice. However there are better juicing technologies if you want even LESS oxidation, such as the Sana 727 (runs at 40 RPM) and also vacuum juicing. Think about the Omega VSJ843, which has been out for 6 years without significant upgrades. It really depends. While I do use the Sana 727 on occasion, the Nama J2 is my go-to machine. While I do love cleaning on the Sana 727 more than the Nama J2, I prefer the juicing in the J2 which allows me to bulk juice more easily and quickly as it auto-feeds and precuts the produce without me having to push it. In my opinion the 727 will make a more nutritious juice and higher yield in most cases. So its a tough call for sure. It just depends on the MAIN factors important to you. Please watch the video th-cam.com/video/9ArS3oVbut4/w-d-xo.html where I compare them side by side so you can learn of the pros and cons of each. Do you juice a lot? There's a physical cost to juicing, especially if you're taller. For me, the J2 greatly reduces that burden, and significantly reduces the overall time from start to finish.
      I juice 6 liters at a time. The J2 reduced my juicing time from 90mins to around 50mins, both including cleaning.
      The time you don't spend feeding the juicer goes to prep and cleaning between batches. While the last batch is running, you're able to wipe down everything. Not having to stand over the machine is so liberating.
      There's several advantages to the 727, but if you don't plan take advantage of them, then the J2 becomes incredily appealing.

      We have A Greenstar and finally see what John is saying about batch juicing. We are pondering the J2 and Sana 727. We think the Sana 727 may be good to make juices that are drank soon after juicing with no need to vacuum store, since it’s so easy to clean. On the other hand, the J2 liberates the pushing operation and is designed to batch juice but juices would need to be vacuumed stored. We also like the Goodnature M1; it grinds (not a good grinder) and presses juice quickly plus all the parts can be put in a dishwasher for very easy cleanup; it only cost $5,600! So, we want a DJ brand juicer that resembles the vertical hopper of the J2 and the electric hydraulic press of the M1, made for non-juice bar types, and costs $799 from DJ; it will provide quality juice with a push of a button and grinds/presses 32 oz of juice per hopper. All kidding aside, we are leaning towards the J2 for its batch processing; we juice about 1.5 gallons a week in the GS. Or just wait it out with our trusty ol greenstar.

    • @wavelength239
      @wavelength239 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      UPDATE. We ordered the J2 using Johns code and have enjoyed 2 juice sessions so far, about 1.5 gallons each. We absolutely LOVE the J2. Thanks john. I feel i have been let out of jail and liberated from the push of each item, one at a time. What a game changer. I’d estimate it reduces the overall juice time from the Greenstar by a half. We’ll be doing our detailed test over the next few weeks. Pulp is not an issue; it’s dry. Being able to simply load the hopper with soft pineapple, melons, or tomato etc is awesome, with no back up. The Goodnature V8 recipe juices with NO backup and and is extremely easy. Great recipe too! There is some foam with greens but that’s ok; it’s about the same as our GS. Cleaning is easy and faster than the GS. I don’t think there will be an issue with carrot stains, but we’ll see,. Hopper technology is the future of juicers, can’t wait to see the new ones trickle out and Johns reviews! The J2 makes juicing fun! No longer a chore.

    Hey john,
    I have a vacuum storage question for you dude.
    Instead of vacuum and portion packing my juices in 8 or 16 oz mason jars, is it okay or counterproductive, to vacuum pack a quart jar, and just use portions as needed and re vacuum pack the quart jar a couple of times till I finish the court over a day or two.
    I am hoping this takes the place of the old idea to fill the container to the top to reduce the amount of oxygen in the container. It seems logical to me but you're the guy with the chops here. What say you?
    Ps, I've obviously abandon the idea of a mechanical juice press to use with my alexa bags. I'm glad I stuck with the hand squeezing. It's actually turned out to be great exercise as you had implied in your dynapro videos could happen. I play the guitar for a living and have been for 60 + years. I've got thousands and thousands of hours into this so I avoid activities from skiing to horsing around wrestling in skydiving in anything else it might damage the muscle contours that I developed overtime. I'm even careful with what exercise equipment I use that might negatively affect the balance and the way my hands work.
    At this point I'd recommended trying this activity to any guitar player, string player, keyboard player, valve brass or woodwind player. It's really quite different than any of the gear that are seen over the years for hand strengthening of this kind.
    What a cool serendipity to receive. Almost a reward on top of the rewards I'm already getting consuming the awesome juice that comes out of my dynapro.
    I'm still very jazzed and excited over the alexa bags or should I say bag I'm still using the original bag I started with months ago. I did use one for a short time before that I managed to tear with that wacky orange juice press idea I was working with. It got snagged on a short corner get the device and was ripped so I can't count that as a defective bag.
    Square business john. this bag is amazing compared to the other bags that I tried made of cotton or hemp or even ellie's bags that are similar material as alexa's just don't have the build. I realized that the first time I use the alexa's bag. it was far and above the other ones I found. Thanks for all your input on this stuff and the great service you've offered me with your juicers and information over the past 10 years plus.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gary, First, so glad you found benefits of hand squeezing using Alexa's Nut Milk Bags. Yes, they are the best. I have also tested many. Yes, hand squeezing is good exercise, and gives us finger/hand exercise most people normally don't get. Glad it has also benefitted your guitar playing! Who would have thought!
      Vacuum sealing is superior to "filling to the brim" technique for sure. That being said, I do not recommend vac sealing a quart and then pouring off a little each day and re-vac sealing. I did this for a while, and found, the juice degraded more than just making smaller size of vac sealed jars, so I picked up small 8 ounce mason jars wide mouth, and will only vac serve single portions, and then open and drink it all for the most nutrition and least oxidation.
