      His skin looks better, less eye circles but he did gained weight, maybe its from the juicing of high acidic fruits; which fat is the isolation of acid, not calories or fat as the medical likes to say.

    I love that you never had to clean out the filter during that whole process. My juicer filter gets full and would have needed to be rinsed at least 3-4 times, this makes the Nama 2 worth every penny!

    You are hilarious; as a fellow juicer I've learned almost everything I know from your presentations - you leave nothing to guesswork and I appreciate that - what I enjoy so much is your information on the "reasons" for juicing; juice and food is my medicine - thank you!

    Got my J2 yesterday, been using Hurom for years, great machines, but, as many have said, "This is a game changer". I juice kale, spinach, carrots, and celery usually for 2 days juice. Generally takes about an hour and a half from start to cleanup complete. This was about 20 minutes. Juice is noticably better flavor. Thanks bro, been watching your vids back to the Moringa vids you did. Moringa is out of season now, but, I'll be juicing those leaves soon too.

    I’ve bought from John. He’s legit and definitely keeps his word about going to bat for you if any problems or questions should arise. You do stellar work, John! Looking forward to seeing how you vacuum seal this much juice!
    ETA:
    YOU ONLY CLEANED THE SCREEN FROM INSIDE THE JUICER AT THE END? When I bulk juice using Kuvings C7000 I have to clean out a couple times or it is impossible to open. This machine you just demonstrated is IMPRESSIVE! PS I USE the bio chef I bought from you to vacuum seal!

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      thanks for the props. Correct, The Nama screen doesn't really get clogged with fibers as the Kuvings models can. I only cleaned the juicer ONCE at the end. If your juice is difficult to open, its a sign you may need to precut stringy vegetables smaller and/or slow down in how fast you feed the produce. See th-cam.com/video/g6Qt4pGCI4o/w-d-xo.html

    I just spent 38 minutes watching a man juice. You made it easy though and I’m so glad I saw this as I almost (right before the video) bought another juicer- that I can’t afford. This may not produce the same quality juice as the other, but this will fit my lifestyle better and I know I’ll juice more because of the ease. I’m going to buy this tonight, from you. Your energy is the kind that’s like “I’ll have what he’s having!” And best part is I *can have it! Last two years since having covid 3X my immune system has changed. I’m now allergic to things I never was and get skin reactions and rashes to the littlest thing. Recently I was bedridden sick w covid I literally heard a voice in my head (inner intuition) tell me to juice. That’s all I heard was one word- JUICE. I have a hurom and started again. It literally makes me feel high.😂 You also seem like you have that “juice high” which is infectious and I pick up your energy just watching. Thank you for this video. My hurom broke yesterday which made me come here. Glad I did. Keep doing what you’re doing. Your honest sales pitches don’t feel like sales pitches because I know people can tell you just want to help them help themselves. You’re awesome! And your skin is GREAT ;)

    That pile of veggies looks like the base ingredients for my home made dog food. My baby has pancreatitis and slow thyroid, is always hungry, and does not like to drink water. So, she gets all this and more veggies chopped up (some cooked, some raw) with oats and ground flax, and she loves it. But even better, the vet said she's much healthier now. After watching all your recent juicer videos I'm going to buy the Nama J2 to make juice for me, use some of the pulp in breads and muffins, and in her dog food. It will be awesome! Thanks for all the information and tips.

      This is for sure an EASY to use juicer for beginners, since it automatically cuts and feeds the juicer, so you dont have to, this ensures the machine is not clogged/jammed and reduces the #1 problem I see that customers have, so YES, i would recommend for beginners. Is it "best"? That depends on what you are juicing.

    Hey John, I really appreciate your content. Now that the Nama J2 European models are being sold, I got excited. HOWEVER, it seems that only the voltage has been adjusted, and not the frequency. The European models are 220v/60hz, even though Europe uses 50hz!
    That means the motor and cooling will be running at a minimum with 20% less efficiency and torque, so I'm wondering if it will still be the amazing juicer that it looks like in the USA models using proper voltage AND frequency.
    What do you think about this problem? Is it still worth it? THANK YOU for your answer

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have not made the Gerson green juice in the nama J2, but this videos shows me making 7 quarts of some of the more difficult veggies to juice. I make a recipe similar to this every week. The gerson green juice appears to contain:
      6-7 big leaves (with stalk) of romaine
      Red leaf lettuce
      2-3 leaves of escarole
      2-3 leave of endive
      3-4 leaves of red cabbage
      2-3 young inner beet tops (inner leaves)
      2 leaves of Swiss chard
      A quarter of a green bell pepper
      3-4 leaves of watercress
      1 medium green apple, Granny Smith or as sour and hard as possible
      which the nama J2 could handle. That being said, the Nama J2 is not recommended by Gerson to make the gerson green juice. The only juicer recommended by gerson is the Pure Juicer that costs $2500. Furthermore, the recipe contains many leaves and only an apple as the ingredient that is not a leaf. For this style recipe, I would recommend the Sana 727 over the Nama J2 due to its high leaf content.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว

      Every Juicer will cause oxidation. Some styles of juicers produce more oxidation than others. The Nama J2 adds less air/oxidation than high speed juicers for sure. If you vacuum seal your jars as I show th-cam.com/video/kQI2x5x-DLw/w-d-xo.html you can slow oxidation to a crawl after the juice has been made.

      I personally compost it. Some people feed it to their pets. Some people dehydrate it and turn it into crackers or use it in a soup stock.

    This is a great video about bulk juicing. I am curious tho about how well that test vacuum pump worked out. I am known to be hard on my things so based on what I've seen of it I don't think that pump would make it much past two weeks before it blows a seal.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I havent blown a seal on the pump, but I have broken the handle. It pulls a good vacuum, but could be more durable for sure.

    If I use 16 ounce mason jars can I just air pump it 5 times since the jar is 1/2 size in your video. You said you had to air pump 1 quart jar of juice 10 times

    Impressive. I currently use the omega juicer cnc80 and I have to press the pulp in a bit milk bag because the pulp is so wet. Also, do you find the turmeric stained the juicer? I’m considering getting the Nama

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว

      Turmeric will stain ALL juicers. Scrub with water AND SOAP right after juicing to help get them off. Then leave in the sun that will remove stains of plastic.

      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว

      Tessa, Depends on how you define good? The Nama J2 CAN juice carrots for sure. See th-cam.com/video/JZtKJiSiZtI/w-d-xo.html where I juice carrots and other root veggies.
      I would say the green star is more effective at grinding carrots and juicing them, but the green star is also alot more work and cleaning as well.

    I know what the Nama J2 site says on constant run time. How long have you juiced in one setting with the J2?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nama officially says 30 minutes. Normally I juice for 1 hour straight. In rare instances I will use the machine up to 2 hours (with little off time) to switch off between batches. It does get really warm when I use it for 2 hours, so generally I recommend up to 1 hour. If you need to do more, then turn it off, and let it cool down.

    Hey John, I’m still kicking it around but will probably get the Nama. I can tell you that the celery at Costco near us is usually not very juicy. I don’t buy it from them anymore.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I agree, its easier, but buying celery by the head is better as its not as dried out.

    • @Victoria-bl4tw
      @Victoria-bl4tw 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree. I bought a batch from Costco that ended up in the garbage. Even the taste was off. I ended up purchasing from my local grocery store unprocessed with the leaves still on and it made a world of difference.

      Nama did have a few issues with parts breakage early on, but most have been improved and they are continuing to make minor improvements to the machine as time goes on.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I just spoke with Omega and they promised to send me samples. That being said, it should get results similar to the MM900 model. I have heard Omega also tweaked the green outlet knob so it does not back up as much and hopefully will reduce oxidation.

    Does your pulp or juice feel warm after juicing those greens? I have the Nama juicer and my juice and pulp are warm and I only juice one bunch of kale and one bunch of spinach chopped small

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you have the original Nama 5800 aka Nama J1 ? That machine tends to constrict the pulp more before it comes out, and causes more frictional heat in my opinion. That being said, I would not say the J2 heats the juice any more than other juicers.

    Question - how does it handle just soft fruit? A watermelon juice. Still not convinced this is better than the Greenstar, which does great with hard and soft fruit/veg.

      Watermelon is no problem. See th-cam.com/video/Q2pJ9dPC0Xw/w-d-xo.html for my video on juicing 5 different fruits.

    Hi John.
    Living in Germany it’s not so easy (although possible) to buy Nama J2.
    Alternatively we could easily buy Hurom H320.
    Will you make a comparison between these two?
    Nama told me that the only technical difference is that J2 is slicing a bit faster.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The H320 is not available in the USA, so I Can not test or compare. Based on my test of the H300, I would get the Nama J2, due to the motor and the hopper differences.

    John if after you load this juicer up could you enclose the whole juiser in a plastic bag and then suck out all the air in the bag before you turn on the juicer, would this be a good thing to do to keep the juice from oxidising?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is possible, but the problem is the juicer was not designed to be put under vacuum that may negatively affect the seals and other components in the juicer.

  • @halcyon-cg2eb

    I am debating if I should get the J2. I need to juice 4 ltrs daily for the whole family. Cost of ordering from Canada is roughly CAD 1000.00 (incl shipping/duties etc) which is a lot, however, if it's worth it, i don't mind paying that much. However, I've been researching quite a bit and some people are saying that the pulp is still wet and they can extract juice from it. Any advice?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are spending 4 hours now juicing, the Nama J2 will free up your time for sure. To me, it is worth the $100. That being said, will the pulp be dryer than your current juicer? that depends on what your current juicer is. I encourage you to watch my other comparison videos to learn the difference in yield between different juicers and the Nama j2. The nama j2 holds its own for sure.

  • @hvcool
    @hvcool 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Like with Norwalk presser can you take the pulp and in put it in the Nama J2 again or its not worth it?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can press the pulp out of the Nama Back thru the nama, but you must add chopped jicama for it to work properly/best. I have other videos where I show this.
