It might surprise you, but excessive consumption of fruit juice can spike your blood sugar, increase your risk of insulin resistance, and even contribute to long-term health issues like diabetes and cancer. Scientific studies back this up, showing that the sugars in fruit juice, when consumed without the fiber present in whole fruits, can have negative effects on your body. The antioxidants and nutrients in the juice simply can't offset the concentrated sugars that hit your system when you remove them from the fruit matrix.
    But don’t worry, I’m not here to tell you to give up juicing entirely. Instead, I want to offer practical tips to help you enjoy juicing in a way that supports your health.
