Hey John just ordered one, I watched hundreds of your videos over the years on both channels, (usually x 1.25 lol) thanks for doing them!
the vacuum pump parts are not longer available. What else do you suggest? The lid to fit the Nama C2 is available, but which pump do you suggest?
I have a Nama J2 & a Vitamix A3500 that blends perfectly. So while this is a great idea there's absolutely no way i will be spending another $800. Nama could've created an attachment to incorporate the blend jar to fit the J2 instead of being greedy & trying to compete with Vitamix & Blendtec...
While Nama Could have made a blender carafe to fit the Nama J2, the problem is the Nama J2 is PRESET to run at 50 Revolutions Per Minute (slow speed) so any attachments would ONLY run at 50 RPM, which would make it basically, useless. Just like if vitamix made a juicing attachment, it would run too fast to be a slow juicer!
Same, I also have a J2 and Vitamix Propel and won't be investing any time soon. And that's ok because I'm happy with both products.
I have a j2 and a vitamix 3300. Both are amazing. I also have a vitamix 6300. I will get a Void vacuum to go with it.
Awesome video. Awesome machine. If I didn’t already have an expensive Vitamix and two very good juicers, I would definitely purchase this one. Well worth it. Especially when they figure out how to do the vacuum blending. I would also definitely buy it from John. He is a great man who really cares about others.
Very nice………i have had my vitamix for years……I’m happy with it………i got my J2 at its launch…….I’m ok with it all……..it was all worth it when i got it…….its still is!
If you have the j2 and the vitamix 🎉groovy this product is not for U.... but for those who have neither this is a great start 🎉🎉🎉🎉 power to us health conscious juicetarians 😅😅😅😅
Looking forward to purchasing this. I was weighing purchasing a vitamix or the j2, now this comes together. Just what I was looking for. Thanks for sharing ❤😊
This is just wonderful and exciting 🎉it’s going to be my Christmas gift to myself. Its awesome that you mentioned I wish it would have vacant blender, but again, I’m happily looking forward to buy this. Thank you so much for all your informative videos.
There are certain fruits and vegetables that i would rather blend and there are certain fruits and vegetables that i would rather juice. This is my first purchase of a juicer and this couldn't have come out at a better time in my life. Thank you John!! And Nama 😊
Thank you John for another GREAT video! Always informative and super helpful! I so appreciate your videos! I bought the Nama J2 less than a month ago. My plan was to return and buy the C2. I already have the return label and was going to pack up the J2 tonight HOWEVER after watching your video and seeing how huge the base is, I am going to stick with my J2 and vitamix. I don’t have a lot of counter space. My vitamix fits perfectly under my cabinet and my J2 has another perfect spot on my counter. If I get the C2, it’s so bulky tall and depth wise that it won’t fit anywhere on my counter! I am super bummed but also thankful for your video. I would have been disappointed with the size if I had done the switch. I would guess and hope that in the future years they will be able to make the base smaller. Thanks again for all your videos! I did use your discount code when buying my J2! Thank you 😁
This video was so helpful. I’ve watched it several times now that my C2 has arrived for guidance on assembly and cleaning.
How was the blender ?
I agree ~ I hope Nama comes out with a vacuum conversion kit for the C2 soon! Seems like that's the only thing this juicer/blender needs to be pretty much perfect!
Just made the purchase and used your discount code. I'm so excited to use a 2 in 1 blender. I have three different machines: One to make nut butters and almond milks, blender, and juicer. It will be nice to have it all in one. But the best part is that it has a 15yr warranty.
I liked watching you make your soup the best. It sounds like a good recipe.
ORDERED! I am so excited! Thanks so much! ;-)
Thank you again for this wonderful video. I was desperately hoping to hear how the Nama C2 sounds, and how loud it is, but you left the room for the soup-making and the self-cleaning, so I did not get the chance. A video about that would be extremely helpful, especially compared to the tall Vitamix 5200.
Great video! Love your enthusiasm! Giving my daughter my Nama 2 and buying this. Can’t wait! Thank you for your honest reviews and recipes too. You can tell you work really hard to bring good information to your viewers. It’s appreciated! 😊
That's one of the best things you can do with your old juicer, is gift it to a loved one or friend so they can have the tools to easily better their health too!
Great video !
Well, I don't have a blender, but LOVE my solostar 4 for it'd amazing performance with greens and overall performance across all produce. Great video by John, interesting product. Maybe consider down tbe line.

Nama add a food processor attachment, vacuum craft and take my money! I love my J2 and have a blender/processor combo, an all in one for space savings would be worth it to me. Great video John thanks
Nama is currently working on a vacuum attachment for sure for the C2. I have heard rumors they are working on a food processor attachment as well.
woww! nice! I already ordered the nama j2.. I should take it back and get this one.. But wait, I already have a vitamix and the nama j2 will fit perfectly under my cub board. This nama c2 will be way to bulky for me. I have a small counter space. I need my space for my dishes too. I’ll be just fine. My namaj2 will be here friday. I’m content. and has a 15 year warranty. Thanks for the demo.
FINALLY SOMEONE SHOWS ME HOW TO SET UP MY C2 JUICER
But why, why, WHY didn't they make the blender a vacuum blender? 😢
That is a good question. I don't know for sure, but I did recommend to the CEO of nama that they create a vacuum blending upgrade kit, which he said he would work on. Meanwhile, I show how to turn the C2 into a vacuum blender at 56:55 I also go into further detail on converting the Nama C2 into a vacuum blender in the video th-cam.com/video/qwrjsfV75AY/w-d-xo.html
At $800, one shouldn't have to hack it by buying extra stuff.
Thing is, lots of people already have a high-speed blender, between Vitamix, Blendtec, and Ninja. What most DON'T have is a high-speed vacuum blender!
Can't be intrigued by a regular high speed blender, I've got a Vitamix 5200 that has already outlived the Nama warranty at 16 years old! It may outlive me at this rate!
Anyway, fun video as always, and the soup recipe sounds fab!
@@GrayHomeVideo I totally agree, they should have made it a vacuum blender from the start, since people don't have a vacuum blender! If I was not able to convert it to a vacuum blender, I would not be as excited about this machine.
Do you think that this unit could be on sale on Black Friday?
@@judyhill5310that's what I'm hoping for as well!!!
Thank you for the video. And thank you for comparing the J2 to the C2 (right about the middle of the video), and seeing that the C2 will not fit under cupboard space. If I did not have either I think it would be worth considering. But I have a J2 and I just got a Vita mix with food processor attachment. Lol
I have a Vitamix that's about 12 years old. I also have an Omega Masticatng juicer about ten years old. They both still work fine. I've been contemplating purchasing the Vitamix A-3500 and the Nama J2. Glad I waited, but still not sure.
@@Teeyah2 Really depends on your needs/wants from this equipment. I had replaced an older Kitchen Aid processor with a newer (less heavy) model and ended up regretting that. LOL! Finally broke down and got the A-3500 + attachments and will see if that works. I ALMOST didn't need to replace the blender, but if a single unit works then great. IF I had waited a week or so, then the C2 would be the hot item (EXCEPT the counter space issue.) Hope that helps!
Thank you very much John.
Manual pump is pretty good enough, if they put an extra seal on the lid too...
How loud is Nama when blending?
Would the company consider to come up with an extra cover if too loud?
I have not yet done sound testing on the Nama C2 yet. I will test when I make a vitamix vs Nama C2 video. See th-cam.com/video/qwrjsfV75AY/w-d-xo.html where I go into detail regarding vacuum blending in the Nama C2.
finally ! the only reason i like the newer vitamix is because of the one base for 2 appliances feature (blender and food processor). Lets hope they produce a food processor to add to this base ! love the bamboo bags and larger catch cups, love it will be buying it. I love the white colour but can you see the wording as well as i can see it on the black model.? And is the black model matte or shiny ? thanx for the review John
Black model is matte. Can easily see all the wording.
Very informative video, again! Thanks John. Interesting that C2 did not have a vacuum jar and does not have a variable speed juicer, like the SANA 727. I guess we’ll wait for the next model. Meanwhile, we continue ‘forward” with our NAMA J2 and Tribest Dynapro (thanks to the 35th anniversary promo earlier this year). We still love our great Greenstar juicer too. Perhaps, Tribest will come out with the “Hopper Star” vacuum (or reduced oxygen system) and variable speed juicer that fits under the counter!
Under the counter is pretty much mandatory in my kitchen, so yeah, cheers to that idea!
I surely hope Tribest comes up with some kind of hopper juicer, as it is the future, IMO. A horizontal hopper juicer (single auger or gear) would be amazing!
Ppl that already have this juicer most likely already have a high quality high speed blender. But what a lot of ppl don’t have is a high quality vacuum blender. This is great for those who have neither. When they come out with a vacuum attachment I may consider buying it
Does Nama have Black Friday sales?
I have the J2 but now i want this one! Damn these first world problems Lol. Excellent video John.
First of all. Thank you John for always giving us great videos. You’re the best!!! 💜 To me the C2 is just a little bit too tall and too big. Plus I really love the Vitamix blenders personally. And I like the size of the J2 regarding the juicer. It fits nicely under the counter. I’m sure has just as much torque as the C2 regarding the juicers. But again thank you for the great demonstration and video…👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I really enjoy your informative videos. Thanks for your info and for your actual demo. I truely appreciate all your effort in order to give us choices. Thank you so much.😊
Hey John, thanks for the video, how tall is the blender sitting atop the base?
I like what I am seeing with these. 2 for 1 and less space.
It's interesting how this motor base is designed inside. Is there two output shafts, one is slow and one is high speed? Or only one shaft changing speed depending on attachment installed? Two motors inside or one? I can't imagine such a motor or a gearbox capable of such a high speed range, with one speed is like 300 times faster than the other
Thank you john for the information i can't wait to get mines
Been eyeing the J2, and I hate my blender… so now I’m eyeing the C2.
@discountjuicers,
1. Would you say that the components are sturdy on the base stub with it being so much shorter/smaller? Like are the 4 cornered pieces beneficial?
2. What is the run time for the C2 vs the J2? When they speak of runtime, does that mean it can run hot or stop?
3. Did I see you blend dates with the pit in it😮?
So the hardest part is choosing a color! I’m your opinion, which dial is easier to see the writing? That’s important for me!
I need to see the C2 blender vs a blendtec blender. It’s buy a C2 or replacing my blendtec blender and buy a J2. Waiting impatiently 😂 TIA
Great video! However, I couldn't find your Amazon shop or the video you mentioned about juicing 101 in the description below.

Is there an attachment, for the Nana J, to make the ice cream. My Tribest has one? I have the Nama J, and love it, but would like to make yogurt snd ice-cream with it. Thanks.
The Nama C2 includes the sorbet attachment. The Nama J2 has an optional sorbet attachment you can purchase, learn more in my video. th-cam.com/video/kC5wABNFpWM/w-d-xo.html
I wonder how the C2 blender would stack up against my Vitamix 6300?
you should consider making a short version of your presentation videos, like really short
The elongation is sickening. A LOT of unnecessary EXPLANATION. The booklets, bag the closure of the bag etc. Ppl are NOT that stupid especially the ones wanting to use a juicer.
Yeah, while I appreciate the explanation, I'm impatient with how loooong it takes to get to the point. 😢😅
He must be crazy if he thinks anybody watches full length of these videos they should look at his analytics and see how quickly people drop off for speed through
Clearly, the target audience is people with mansions to put something that huge on your kitchen counter of the average home is ridiculous
Thanks John for the video. I just bought my Blendtec 800 and I have the Nama J2. I think I shall keep my 2 units. My Blendtec has a 10 year warranty. I will not buy another machine for another 15 years. I wish they had the new blender attachment for the Nama J2. I guess the blender needed a more powerful base. Anyway thanks 😊
Is the blender function as loud as a Vitamix blender is??? And is the blending as good as a vitamix?
Does the larger hopper accessory for batch juicing work on the c2?
hola Jon...¿sabes cuando saldrá a la venta para Europa? he intentado comprar nama c2 sin éxito alguno..... ;)
Are you going to do a taste and texture comparison between Nama C2 and Vitamix blennder?
YES, it is on my list to do.
Where did you buy the vacuum jar and cylinder
So, all of this comes as a complete C2 juicer/blender combo set?
How is the quality of the speed adjustment wheel on the manual speed setting? Is the lowest level speed on the Nama C2 comparable to a Vitamix? Is the C2's lowest speed faster/slower/same as a Vitamix? Thanks John!
The C2 is comparable based on my limited testing and test data I have seen. I will compare the c2 to the vitamix in an upcoming video in detail. It really depends on the model of the vitamix. The vitamix with the rheostat can go slower than the C2.
Can you do review on Huron M100? Thanks
Hi John, Could you tell me if there’s anything electrical that might wear out from leaving the juicer parts assembled on the base or the blender on the base at all times? I prefer to put it together and leave it in on the base so that the parts aren’t taking up space somewhere else. In a nutshell; is it okay to leave the C2 with juicer parts assembled on the base or blender on the base 24/7 with the LED light flashing “Juices” or “Blender” 24/7? Will the LED light or anything else electrical wear out if I do that?
Thanks 🦋
Dang just bought the J2
hi. i just loved the unboxing and would like to buy it too. Wanted to know if this power source will work in india
Sorry, I think he said USA 🇺🇸 only for now in the video...
At release, this model is only available in 120v, for the USA/Canada. Use outside of the 120v model outside these countries may void the warranty. The Nama J2 is currently available in 220/240v models.
Well, specialized appliances are almost always better that universal ones. While you need less space with universal appliances, you still need some place to store parts, AND you need time to reassemble everything, while specialized ones are ready for duty every second. As you are likely you use something less if it is harder to clean, you are likely to use something less if you need to take any additional actions.
I will say that the J2 juicer is very easy to clean. I tried 4 other brands before I got my Nama and there is no comparison!
Thank you for this review this looks great. My biggest con to this is the blender doesn’t have a blender cup when blending small batches like cashew ranch, pesto or individual smoothy without using the whole jar. My breville super q gives me that option and taking the cup on the go right after blending. If this had that attachment I'd buy this. Are they coming out with a blender cup as an alternative to using the big jug? I also got the super q for the vacuum attachment. I also have an Omega Upright for juicing. Looking to upgrade my juicer and possible all in one like the C2
How can I order this item in the UK, please let me know thanks
Nama taking it Next Level :D If its as good as Vitamix and Blendtech then this saves us few thousand bucks...
does it have brushles motor?
Hi, why isn’t the C2 available in Norway 🇳🇴 ???
So you would say the blending quality is just as good as vitamix blenders ?
Based on my limited testing and test data I have reviewed, it appears to be equivalent. However, I will be filming a in-depth C2 vs vitamix comparison in the future.
When will the nama c2 be available for international market. Apparently I can't order it because the voltage is too low for my country
hopefully later this year
Question is the blender good like the vitamix like can blend tuff ingredients if so I will buy if not I’m good I will stay with my j2 and vitamix
Based on my limited testing of this machine personally and testing data I have seen this machine has similar performance to the vitamix. That being said, tell me some of the tough ingredients you blend, and I can maybe include that in the video Nama C2 vs Vitamix!
You should do a video if the c2 making nut butters,c2 is competing against vitamix with this model! I bought a top ninja to make almond butter and it is no good my only other option is vitamix, im looking for the best juicer between the kuvins 830 and the j2 now theres the c2 so i can do nut butters aswell! So its everything im looking for in one its claiming to be more powerful than the vitamix so you should out it to the test! 👍
I just published how the Nama C2 Can make nut butter and sorbet today: th-cam.com/video/0rQQQNuMCGs/w-d-xo.html I make peanut butter, two different ways (slow juicer and high speed blender) I also make coconut butter (high speed blender) and blend cacao nibs with coconut butter to make chocolate bars. Worked great.
is that a vacuum blender
also
does the juicer come with a ice cream function??
YES, the juicer comes with the ice cream (sorbet) function with the included attachment.
The C2 as it comes from the factory is NOT a vacuum blender, but I show how to vacuum blend in it with $30 in additional parts. Watch th-cam.com/video/qwrjsfV75AY/w-d-xo.html for how you can easily vacuum blend.
Hey Nama we need a vacuum lid for the c2
They are working on it :) until then you can use my hack th-cam.com/video/qwrjsfV75AY/w-d-xo.html
What's your thoughts of the oxidation after running the blender that long Hi John hope you are doing ?do they plan on making it a vacuum blender out of it ordo you
I am definitely not a fan of oxidation for running the blender that long, however some people do not mind, so I wanted to show the power of this blender to heat up soup! I do show in this episode how to convert the C2 into a vacuum blender later on in this episode. For see how I make a RAW soup see th-cam.com/video/qwrjsfV75AY/w-d-xo.html which is my preferred method for making soup.
Okay thank you very much I appreciate it grate video
Darn I just bought the juicer a few months ago. Wish I had known this was coming out. I think I will wait and see if they add anything to it in the next year or so
something what pays the bills maybes 😂
Me too and dynapro vacu blender. W/out vacu for its blender it doesn’t, to my mind, compete. One machine that juices slow w a hopper, blends without air and has a separate vacu chamber for any container would be a smart aim..
I like the white but would be afraid of orange and carrot 🥕 staining it ? Any thoughts ?
I have gotten drips of carrot, green juice and many other colors on the base of my nama J2 and C2 models. They always wipe clean with soap and water right after and looks good as new :)
CAN WE VACUUM BLEND WITH THIS NAMA C2 COMBO ❓❓
Bought the NJ2 few months ago and I also need a new quality blender, I wish this was out a few months ago. What do I do now 😢🤔 This is expensive!
Luckily, the Nama J2 has the highest resale value of all juicers I have seen! So sell it on ebay to recoup your money, and then you can use that money to buy the C2!
I am the same. Haven't had mine long at all.
Is it worth it though
Does John/DiscountJuicers have an Amazon storefront shop?
Amazon/shop/john kohler
MY amazon shop where I share all my favorite accessories/etc is at HTTP://www.amazon.com/shop/johnkohler
@rawfoods John… What is the weight of the entire box... to calculate shipping from my house in the USA to a cousin outside the country
WEIGHT is 41 lbs DIMENSIONS 22x17x14 in. Currently Nama only makes this machine in 120V model which is good for the USA and Canada. Use outside these countries on different voltage may void warranty. Nama does make 220/240v models on their Nama J2 Juicer.
Can you deliver to Ireland?
Namawell in the USA can ship the Nama J2 to Ireland, which comes in 220 volts, and includes the 15 year warranty. The Nama C2 is currently only available in 110 volt model (good for USA and Canada), and warranty will be void if used outside countries with 110 volt standard). Order international J2 models at namawell.com/collections/nama-j2-international?ref=discountjuicers and apply coupon COMBO10 for a 10% savings.
Please compare the nama c2 blender with the vitamix A3500
that is at the top of my to do list! What specific comparisons are you interested in?
@rawfoods Am interested to see there performance in how they break down hard veggies and fruits to make smoothies
I would like to know also if it's worth having both based on functionalities
How about blending tuff stuff carrots ice beets you keep blending soft crap .c2 vrs vitamix please
The problem with BHT-free plastic is that you don't know what other potentially dangerous chemicals it might be releasing. I wish Nama offered a stainless steel carafe like Vitamix does.
So I sent an email to nama support asking about a vacuum attachment and they responded that there are currently no plans to add one.
Hi John, have you heard anything about a vacuum option for that blender in the combo? The future belongs to the vacuum blenders, right? It strikes me as peculiar that Nama people haven't considered that option
Correction, you do talk about vacuum blending solutions, so we have to wait Nama to come up with an official vacuum blender part and pump.
To me, for health enthusiasts, the future is VACUUM blending for sure. For the general population making margaritas in their blender, not so much. Before this item was released I stressed to the CEO of nama vacuum blending, but it wasn't in the original plan. As of late I have been told they are working on a solution. That being said, I show a "hack" that does work to vacuum blend to some extent :) Its not perfect, but I will work on improving. see th-cam.com/video/qwrjsfV75AY/w-d-xo.html where I show this hack in further detail.
@@discountjuicers very interesting thank you!
The auger grinds out at the bottom after 2 months. I had to order a new part which caused my warranty to become void.
Buy a hurom. They make nama products.
I would love to learn more about this. I have used the Nama J2 for over 2 years and have not seen wear on my auger. The Nama C2 was just released a few weeks ago, so its not possible that this happened on the C2 at this point.
John, do you know if they will be coming out with a noise enclosure? If not can you ask them about it while they are investigating the vacuum feature? Thanks.
I will request a noise enclosure. I don't believe they are. I am sure they are currently working on a vacuum feature.
@@discountjuicers Great.. keep us updated. I'm telling my friends about C2 and recommend them to order it from you.
When is European version coming?
But you cant buy the blender cup to fit the J2?
Looks like a different motor base, so guess not.
Figures, my J2 is only about 18 mos old. No where near time for a new one
no, it will not fit. Even if it did, it would be useless since the J2 is PRESET to only run at 50 RPM. Where as the C2 runs 50 RPM when using the juicing parts or up to 26,500 RPM when using the blender carafe.
Excited to use this for my 100 day food vacation! 🎉
JUST STARTING JUICING AND BLENDING LIFESTYLE SINCE NOV 10, 2023. BUT SUDDENLY OUR CHEAP JUICER MACHINE PACKED UP. SO HOW CAN WE AVAIL NAMA C2 JUICER + BLENDER FROM U.K.
MANY THANKS AND A BLESSED 2024
I order yesterday my Nama J2 😢 and Vitamix 5200.
Yeah. I paid a lot for the original and then they come out with this? I'm very disappointed in Nama doing this. They ought to offer a trade in so people can afford to upgrade.
Unfortunately, nama does not have any trade-in offers available. That being said, the good news is that since the Nama J2 is the most popular, and most in-demand juicer in the USA, it has a high resale value. So you could sell your J2 on ebay or offerup or at post a note at a local health food store to recoup a good amount of $$$ for the J2, and then use that money to buy the C2.
@rawfoods that's okay. I have a Ninja blender that cooks soup, plus my Nama J2. Thank you though.
Does it come with a chef to do all the prep for the soup as to God who has as much free time
I wish! I hope that is the next version! A Robot that runs it for you!!
As someone who owns the J2 and a perfectly fine Blendtec Blender, it's going to be incredibly difficult to not purchase this.
why use so much ink for the packaging.. i really do not get these companies that use so much ways to reduce footprint except for the packaging details.
Imagine how much resources go into this.
Don't need that, I'm happy with my J2
All these expensive juicers and the juice is in the fruits or vegetables.
Would be nice if we could actually hear the blender work at least a few seconds. Geez
Oh no.... I JUST bout the J2
I thought vacuum blending was the latest and greatest. This just seems like a waste of money.
I hope it comes in a plain box. No need to advertise to 'porch pirates'.
Please scrub your juicer down. Do not rely on a auto clean function as you can see the blender was still dirty.
I agree! Despite the "auto clean feature", I use that as a rough cleaning, and then scrub down less in the sink.
First 😂
Juicer and blender ?! If I would of known I would of waited 🥹 I got my Nama j2 a couple months ago
The same…
Me too, me too! Bought my Nama J2 only two months ago. And it is NOT as pulp dry or as easy to clean with all it’s nooks and crannies as my older juicer the Green Star no2 (the one before the Green Star Pro). I also have a Vitamix, so handing out more money to any of these companies anytime soon.
Only time I use the Nama is when bulk juicing for a 2 day supply or using lots of different produce in it. My celery juice, is done back in the faithful green star. My learning - avoid the hype and hyper promotion of new products!
Same! I just bought mine last month. Oh, well I have a great blender already. 🤷🏾♀️
@@Soul.7Yeah, celery doesn't juice well in Nama. I have the original Nama and juicing celery in it is awful!!! Also, from the very beginning some of my pulp wasn't dry at all.. Greens are dry, but that's it.
A friend of mine is interested in purchasing my J2 since that can’t afford to purchase at full price, but really wanted one… I’m really thinking about it and then I can purchase this one!
