Genever Bottle in The Quiet Man (1952), Maureen O'Hara & Barry Fitzgerald

Why on earth is a traditional Dutch "kelderfles" case bottle being used in this scene? At one stage it's even referred to as a whisky bottle. The clue might be that while outdoor scenes were filmed in Ireland, indoor scenes - like this one - were filmed in Hollywood in California. Genever: it really does get everywhere!
