Odin Makes I think to make it look a little better you could try and “score” the blade like you did with the edge of the blade to get a “lightning” effect on the blade like in the clone wars. Cause I feel like the blade is a little too clean
I hope since the Darksaber has now made appearances outside Clone Wars now, that we may be able to get an official prop toy at Galaxy's Edge or one to get online
@@undeadhaiena5462 I was hoping that they were going to introduce it, or at least tease it in the Obi Wan series (which I was positive Maul was going to show up in) but maybe he will show up in Mando season 2, if Djarin somehow gets his hands on it, either way, can't wait to see what they do with it.

However, in Djarin's flashback to when the Mandalorians rescued him as a child, the Death Watch symbol can be seen on the shoulder pauldrons of the Mandos. Meaning that Djarin may be a member of Death Watch, and possibly the heir to the Darksaber...
But it’s in the Mandalorian and it’s probably people’s first time seeing it that didn’t watch the clone wars series, so it would have been fine in my opinion
Just theoretically: Paint it in something like Vantablack (no flashing reflection) Use a translucent difusor sheet so the individual LEDs don't show that much.
Far as I know, Vantablack can be toxic if not used properly. Also it's copyrighted by Anish Kapoor. Next best thing would be Black 2.0. Nearly as dark, but works exactly like any other paint, can't be copyrighted, plus I believe it's cheaper too.
@@JuicedPotato "like" Vantablack. It's not even a paint, it's a touch sensitive coating that would never work for a prop. That's why I said "like" could have been more precise with "similar too" though.

Omg I love this build, the dark saber is one of my favorite weapons from the clone wars, and you pulled it off amazingly I how to give this a try for my channel, I think I can make and interesting wooden spin on this🤘
Looks perfect. Very smart build! Now back to the drawing board and start 2.0 with sound board and speaker and a programmed led strip to act like a light ( dark ) saber being activated! If anyone can do it Odin can!

You could do it with a thin sturdy peice of cardboard, attach metal foil tape all over it, spray paint it black, and then add LED tape strips.
That looks SWEET!!!! Good call on the milled hilt... haven’t seen anyone do that yet
