Earlier I was watching the Ash's Chainsaw episode and remarking to myself just how comfortable and natural you are, not only are you a talented, creative maker, but you are great at explaining what you're doing in a casual, natural, yet informative way. What's amazing is looking at THIS video, you were even that way here. If you didn't look "different" slightly than you do know, and if you hadn't told us this was your demo video, I never would have know. You were just as comfortable in this as you are in today's videos. Good job!
If you'll use a little bit of medium brown paint (and maybe a spray gun if you have one), you can add some dirt detailing; if you'd rather instead of a spray gun, paint a little on here and there with just a regular brush and immediately wipe said paint off. It sounds like you're doing it for no reason, but a little of the paint will stay on so that the area has a slight brownish tinge and looks weathered/dirty.

You mentioned that you used a 70 mm Christmas ball. However, if you freeze the frame @ 1:11, you will see the package reads 80 mm. Great Scott. This is heavy!

As a Grenade I would think it would only look super dirty being an explosive if it was made from scrap parts, but if it was not made from crap parts. Chances are the Grenade would be at least more clean then most things, but to would also depend on how it was carried or the owner as well. Or how often the owner might honestly have use for a grenade of that type.

you.could of also cut a slit in the ball where switch is and use a mechanisem to allow it to move back and forth still covering the slits allowing it to cover the red led
