The handle and all the knot-work are particularly nice! Those took a lot of patience. Especially impressed with your precision in weeding out all the tiny pieces of foam in the guard.
OML. "This is really cool." Odin, i agree. This is probably my favourite sword that he makes so far. I like his video kind of content cuz how he talks and does the prop with a little humour in it.
this is one of the biggest swords i've seen on this site, also its one of the coolest, as far as what i've seen in the thumbnail. when its finished, i know its going to look good, because nothing odin makes looks bad.
Out of all the weapons you've built so far this one's my favourite. The finished product looks great and I love the wood work with the handle. I want see you do more with wood in future projects.
You are really mastering the knotwork, ant that method for carving the fuller is true genius. I long for the day that I can make pretty swords again, instead of combat safe ones.
Firstly, love your Marvel-themed opening!!! Secondly, this is awesome!!! I can't wait for you to make Princess Zelda's sword from Twilight Princess!!! 🗡👑
I am literally obsessed with this prop ! I come to this video at least 3 times every month 😂 I want to make it so bad, but I don't have that much material of any material, and I don't have that much free time at the time 😭😭😭
I absolutely love this blade, it’s definitely a fantasy blade, but it’s very beautiful, and I personally think. It’d be functional if made of metal and the Guard was thinner.
The cross guard of that sword always reminds me of the Soul Reaver sword from the Legacy of Kain video game series. I'd love to see you make that one someday.
5:53 Odin: Now I get to make a four foot blade... That look says something but I'm not quite sure what😄 It turned out great though, and genius forethought having the rod go the full length to the tip.
The "knot work" on the guard is actually considered filigree, it's more often used in ornate pottery and jewelry. It wasn't used in weaponry much except for in display or ceremonial use.
This is honestly one of the coolest things you've made! Next time you should make a weapon from Skyrim. Perhaps a Deadric artifact like volundrung or dawnbreaker. Or if you want a little break you can make Mehrunes razor or Spellbreaker (peryite's shield)! Hopefully, I spelled everything correctly.
Aluminum tape would really make that blade pop better. Plus you can brush if desired for the brushed metal look. Just a thought. I saw Adam Savage use it for his prop swords.
I’m currently attempting to make the she ra sword from season 5 of She Ra and the princesses of power. I can honestly say Odin makes al this stuff look so easy!
Odin King of Foamgard and The Allfoamer The Bifrost Sword is Ready to serve you. I love this sword awesome Job on the sword. The handle is magnificent and the blade is incredibly detailed. Great Job Odin, I know you'll find a great space to hang it in your house. An idea to hang it: two nails and it hangs from the hooks of the guard. Stay Safe and keep forging ahead. Peace to you King of Foamgard.
I'm glad you like that title Odin, I hope one day when I go to a convention like Dragoncon or San Diego I bump into you. I'll ask to shack your hand and tell you how much you've inspired me. I'm grateful to have a mentor like you who has taught me how to forge with foam. You' are the King of Foamgard and no one can deny it. If you do an ad for your new business cards please give me a shout out. Thank you Odin.
Hey Odin! I'm new to your channel but already a fan. A few years ago I made a long bow out of PVC. To make a stave, I heated a piece of PVC pipe and flattened it with 2x4s. It made for a very thin, lightweight bow. I was thinking it might be worth a try to use as a core for a sword. It would be wider but just as thick as a carbon fiber rod but more rigid. Probably cheaper too. Just thought I would throw that out there. Keep up the great work !
With all his props, we are slowly watching Odin become the most powerful being in existence
To be fair he already made the infinity gauntlet, im almost certain he made both versions
The Collector
At least when it comes to prop making, indeed.
He possesses the Odin Force. The rest are mere trinkets
Have you seen the hacksmith?
Well, of all the swords Odin has made, this one is my favorite. 👍 🗡
I agree
Hahahah
Thank you! I am very happy with it myself!
can’t wait for the crucible
Totally agree
next time on odin makes: odin makes the cup thor throws to the ground in the first movie.
DONE!
@@OdinMakes 😂😂
Black mask from birds of prey
Today on Odin makes, I'm buying a mug from Walmart
@@hewhogoesevenfurtherbeyond9296 i am the 69th like (it must have been destiny for this comment with the mug and stuff)
Thank you Odin, I can finally travel faster to different locations
If you take the rainbow bridge, look out for Blue Shells!
Everybody chill till ODIN comes in
A great piece.
This is by far the best sword you have ever made a true weapon for the by frost
Thank you!
*Bifrost
Oh dine really made an excellent job!
Holy smokes man! Stunning!
The handle and all the knot-work are particularly nice! Those took a lot of patience. Especially impressed with your precision in weeding out all the tiny pieces of foam in the guard.
Ooh yesss. A moment of Silence for him
F
What happened ?
@@pizzapotato7161 dunno if it can be understood...but a moment of silence for Heimdall. He died on IW. So, moment of silence it is
@@Rafael-qd3yq ok ... thought it was a moment of silence for odin 😂😂😅
@@pizzapotato7161 could also be interpreted as if it was for him. He did make a hell lot of a job
I'd have cried at the points on the edges not matching up. Looks great finished Odin!
You always make everything so detailed and beautiful. Your a master craftsmen.
Thank you!
You should totally make a Batman Who Laughs spiked cowl mask!
Definitely but it might be hard to see
@@donaldtusk2678 I'm sure Odin could figure something cool out nonetheless!
OML. "This is really cool." Odin, i agree. This is probably my favourite sword that he makes so far. I like his video kind of content cuz how he talks and does the prop with a little humour in it.
Very cool
this is one of the biggest swords i've seen on this site, also its one of the coolest, as far as what i've seen in the thumbnail. when its finished, i know its going to look good, because nothing odin makes looks bad.
And at the end, Odin has returned to his rightful place in Asgard.
Dude watching your foam crafting really makes me want to get back into making foam weapons again.
I’m amazed he actually made my request
Nice job Odin
Out of all the weapons you've built so far this one's my favourite. The finished product looks great and I love the wood work with the handle. I want see you do more with wood in future projects.
Odin has really outdone himself on this one. I'm inspired now... this will have to go into my ever expanding list of projects.
Hofund's one of my favorite swords. It's so beautiful, awesome work!!
Thank you!
Good bye hofund an hello stormbreaker.
The knotwork was outstanding!
@8:13 That trick to making the fuller is GENIUS.
That's a very nice sword with great details!
Thank you!
I think Hofund is my favorite marvel weapon to date. And not just that Odin has made. Mjonlir is cool, but this sword is absolutely gorgeous
U r my true inspiration
Thank you!

U replied me
I am damn happy
I see that green cutting mat and am like "Oh Boy! A new Odin Makes!" Then, when i7 Discover I've seen it before...oh well, I can watch it again.
love the build Odin. You certainly are the foam master
You are really mastering the knotwork, ant that method for carving the fuller is true genius. I long for the day that I can make pretty swords again, instead of combat safe ones.
That’s a prop I’ve always wanted you to make
My apologies I didn't get the request pop up screen made, I bet your comment would have been in there...
This came out great.
It'd be cool to see a Master Chief helmet for the Halo coming out later this year.
Maybe you two could collaborate.
God I wish I had even 1/2 the skill you have in one pinky... amazing work!
That turned out great!
Thank you! I am goign to go watch your SpaceX helmet video...

This is so AWESOME!!
9:47 did you use your deku mask as protection?! Im planning to make this sword! Thx for the tutorial! 🤣
Yes I did!
It has jersey material for a filter. Even if it is not a perfect fit. It's more fun than other masks!
Here is a link to scans of my pattern pieces: bit.ly/OM_Bifrost
@@OdinMakes even if it was unintentional, the little murmur you did matches the mask so well
Great intro, and outro !
I absolutely love this blade, it’s definitely a fantasy blade, but it’s very beautiful, and I personally think. It’d be functional if made of metal and the Guard was thinner.
That’s the coolest sword build the look of it really stands out 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Thank you!
Another beautiful creation~
I love it when Odin makes things Odin has made 🤣
Thank you for the props Odin. Its make me inspired to make something
OMG! I was thinking to make this.
I will scan my cardboard patterns and include a link...
The cross guard of that sword always reminds me of the Soul Reaver sword from the Legacy of Kain video game series. I'd love to see you make that one someday.
As usual, you’re awesome when making movie props Mr. Odin
It would be pretty awesome to see you make like. A small portion of the bifrost summoning thing, to act as a stand
Nice. I love the hilt with the relief knotwork.
Thank you!
Awesome Mr.Odin ❤️
Odin keeps making weapons for his kingdom!
Yes! Great one and very nice detail work. Thanks for the pattern! :)
I haven't watched this channel in a year plus and I just randomly thought of your channel I love your videos keep up the good work
This is absolutely incredible!
Once again, you raise the bar!
Your so smart with the fixing stuf
If Odin strapped every Thor-based weapon and armor together, he'd be the ultimate warrior.
5:53 Odin: Now I get to make a four foot blade...
That look says something but I'm not quite sure what😄 It turned out great though, and genius forethought having the rod go the full length to the tip.
Thank you! The look is just committing to a four foot long, less than 5 inch wide foam blade...
Just awesome!!! Like always. 👍🏻👍🏻
My memory of the Asa-tron is a bit ringrostig, but now you just have to make that horn/flute that Heimdal (?) blows in to announce the Ragnarrök. =)
The "knot work" on the guard is actually considered filigree, it's more often used in ornate pottery and jewelry. It wasn't used in weaponry much except for in display or ceremonial use.
And hofund is little more than a glorified key to the bifrost, that HAD to be intentional
Fantastic work, as is to be expected!
I'd love one day, for you to tackle The Chaoseater from Darksiders!
12:29 This made me realize that Hofund is literally an oversized key. Childhood ruined.
If it helps restore your childhood think of it this way, Heimdall is a keyblade user
Awesomely done!!
Great build! I really enjoyed this one a lot.

Odin, now you should do Odin's spear to complete your collection of Asgardians weapons
I bet there is no other better way of making this from foam

Dont know about you but I always get a bit more of a chuckle whenever he says his catchphrase when he build a nordic themed build lol
If Heimdall were with us he'd be proud
