In Turkey, they said KEBAB ...Sate or satay mean skewered bbq meat ...And that sambal matah taste sooo good ..
They do but they don't prepare it on Lemongrass, I think :o) It really lifts the flavour.. Thanks

You could easily use another meat, such as pork or Beef Eric, it just needs to be very finely minced/ground..

I’ve never heard of lilit. Is it traditionally made with fish?
Lilit means to wrap or to cover that lemon grass (or any kind of skewer you like) with ground meat or ground fish ...
It is often fish but not always.. :o)
