Great question! Fresh fruit and berries; summer squashes, tomatoes, eggplants with herbs from the garden; grilled potato and onions en papillote; fresh salads and peas; tofu satay! Greek pasta salad! Grilled veggies and fresh anything! 3-bean salad, Indian potato salad with cashews, lemon, and cilantro; corn on the cob!! Salmon marinated in Citron tea and grilled! Hot cuisines - Thai, Mexican! Blueberry muffins! Banana frozen yogurt! Sweet iced tea and Thai iced tea! How about you?
@@carbine090909 Everything you mentioned makes me miss the warm outdoor weather of summer so much. All sounds delicious. Definitely fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden. I love citron tea, Mexican food, and 3 bean salad too. So good. Thanks for sharing!
I'm looking forward to cooking fresh caught Coho salmon on a camp fire at my secret fishing spot. Salmon seasoned with lemon, sour cream and dill all wrapped up in tinfoil. Got to watch out for bears... BUT! Tonight it's sauté chicken with this sauce and fresh pickle. My wife thanx u in advance!
I’m 35 with 2 kids. I don’t know how to cook, but I’m learning now and your recipes have never failed me. Our son has lots of food allergies so even with substitutions the food still taste great and sometimes that is not the case with other recipes. Love your channel. #1 fan
Thank you so much Luxey. I'm glad that you've tried the recipes! It's always fun to learn new recipes. I'm still learning too ☺️ Thanks so much for your support 🙏🏼
I've made satay manny times through the years and enjoyed it in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore as well as Bangkok and Phuket. So many variations. I've settled on a version very similar to your delightful recipe but I will definitely try the oyster sauce .A terrific idea I would never thought of on my own. Thanks for yet another calming and informative tutorial. I enjoy your personal touch as well.
Gai satay is clearly a favorite (one of many) and it goes really well with a peanut dipping sauce. Will have to try with the pickled veggies too. Once again a great video.
@ Renee Brutvan...I am with you. These videos are not only mouth watering, they are little works of art, gentle voice ,soft music, brilliant photography. Thanks David Packman, for the suggestion to watch. From Australia.
@@kalayne6713 Exactly. Boone Bake is similar, check it out. I'm here bc of David Pakman's suggestion too! Good to meet you 😊 I'm here in upstate New York, USA, in the Finger Lakes region. We're heading into spring now, so summer is just around the corner. Stay safe guys!
@@ThunThunChannel yes my family enjoyed it.. I cooked it on the gas grill. And I made the pickled salad and the peanut sauce but I had to use red curry.. still was so good!!
I am thinking of summer today and all of the delicious foods that can be made outdoors. What are your favorite things to eat during summertime?
