The Polycrystalline panels are most suited for Indian conditions, because of high heat and more temperature. The mono perc panels are mostly used in European countries where it is cool. The production of Solar panels, especially monocrystalline will automatically reduce production when there is high temperature. We had been using polycrystallaine panels for more than 8 years, at that time it was the only panel available in the market. Now-a-days, the customers are demanding mono perc panels because of wide publicity gained through technical videos. Many people do not know how to identify Poly crystalline/Mon perc/Mono perc Half cut. In mono perc panels there will be a Diamond design in four corners of the cells whereas the Mono perc half cut will be having a design of 'udukku' in four corners of a cell. The polycristalline panels, there will not be any special designs at the corners, but it will be light blueish. We have observed many polycristalline panels have blueish dark colour too.

ഞാൻ 2022 ജാനുവരി 12നു കമ്മീഷൻ ചെയ്ത ഓൺ ഗ്രിഡ് പ്ലാന്റിൽനിന്ന് കഴിഞ്ഞ മൂന്നു മാസത്തിൽ KSEB ബില്ല് വന്നുതുടങ്ങി 150, 128, 169 എന്നിങ്ങനെയാണ്. സാധാരണ രണ്ടു മാസത്തെ ബില്ല് (ചൂട് കുറഞ്ഞ മാസത്തിൽ 7500 - 8000 റേഞ്ച് ആണ്. മാർച്ച്‌ മാസം ചൂട് കൂടിയതിനാൽ ഉപയോഗം കൂടിയിരു ന്നു. ഓൺ ഗ്രിഡ് 5 kW ആണ്.
ആര് വർഷം മുന്നേ ഓഫിഗ് ഗ്രിദ് ആയി 4 ബാറ്ററി ബേക്കപ്പ് സിസ്റ്റം വെച്ചിരുന്നു. അതിനാൽ KSEB പവർ ഇല്ലങ്കിലും വീട്ടിലെ അത്യാവശ്യ കാര്യങ്ങൾ നടക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. എന്തായാലും KSEB സപ്ലൈ മൈന്റെനൻസ് എന്നുപറഞ്ഞു കാലത്ത് 9 മൈ തുടങി വൈകിട്ട് 5-6 മണിവരെ രക്ഷേപ്പെട്ടത് ബാറ്ററി വെച്ച ഓഫ് ഗൃദ് കൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഫുൾ ഓഫ് ഗൃദ് വെച്ചാൽ kseb യെ ഒഴിവാക്കാം. പക്ഷേ ബാറ്ററി നമ്പേഴ്സ് കൂടും, ബാറ്ററി വില onninu16,000/ വരും. 5 വർഷം മാത്രം നിലനിൽക്കും.

ഒരു C20 lead acid battery 800 പ്രാവശ്യവും C10 (Solar Battery) ആണെങ്കിൽ 1500 പ്രാവശ്യവും ചാർജ് ചെയ്ത് ഡിസ്ചാർജ് ചെയാം . 150Ah C10 ബാറ്റെറിയിൽ 1.5 യൂണിറ്റ് വൈദുതി ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും 1 .2 യൂണിറ്റ് ഡിസ്ചാർജ് ചെയാം . അപ്പോഴേക്കും ഇൻവെർട്ടർ ഓഫ് ആകും . ഇത് ബാറ്ററി deep ഡിസ്ചാർജ് ആകാതിരിക്കാൻ വേണ്ടി ആണ്.1.2 * 1500=1800 യൂണിറ്റ് . അതായത് 1800 യൂണിറ്റ് വൈദ്യുതി ഈ ബാറ്റെറിയിൽ ചാർജ് ചെയ്ത് ഡിസ്ചാർജ് ചെയാം. വൈദ്യുതിയുടെ വില 1800*5=9000.ബാറ്ററിയുടെ വില 15000 രൂപ (C10 150Ah).9000 രൂപയുടെ വൈദ്യതി ബിൽ ലാഭം കിട്ടിയപ്പോൾ 15000 രൂപയുടെ ബാറ്ററി ചിലവായി . സോളാർ പാനലിനും ,charge controller നും മുടക്കിയ തുക വേറെയും . എന്നാൽ സാധാരണ ഇൻവെർട്ടർ ആണെങ്കിൽ grid ഇൽ വൈദ്യുതി ഇലാത്തപ്പോൾ മാത്രമേ ബാറ്റെറിയിൽ നിന്നും വൈദ്യുതി എടുക്കുന്നുള്ളൂ .രാവിലെയും രാത്രിയിലുമാണ് കൂടുതൽ വൈദ്യുതി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് . ആ സമയത്ത് പാനെലിൽനിന്നും ഉത്പാദനം ഇല്ല . ഇത് ലാഭകരമാക്കണമെങ്കിൽ സോളാർ പാനെലിൽ നിന്നും ഉത്പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്ന വൈദ്യുതി ബാറ്ററിയിൽ സൂക്ഷിക്കാതെ അപ്പോൾത്തന്നെ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന എന്തെങ്കിലും ഉപകരണം വീട്ടിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം .

There are some more points to add. What is left aftr our consumption is gone to KSEB. KSEB gives less amount for what we are giving them. So better to use our maximum during the production process. Like do washing ironing everything during the day time.

It comes through a new meter called bi directional meter and is the only change.
The solar power is inverted and is fed to the distribution lines.
We are entitled to use as much power from KSEB as we produce, and that is the reality.
And by the way, if there are some works on the line your generation is also wasted as the bi directional meter will open the circuit and generation is of no use.

No, you need to divide it again by 6..
Calculate the total amount/25 (which is for 25 years) and then divide that amount/6 (we get the current bill in every 2 months)...then only you will be able to compare with your current bill
The whole investiment of the solar project will be recovered within a maximum period of 6 years. Thereafter the full electricity bill can be saved. That is the profit.
for the next 25 years electricity bill will not be constant... it will defenitly increase.. so solar panel will defenitly a better option
