Dude. I'm in Colorado and I really want to build a small cargo trailer. Love both your channels

Totally recommend it! I’d love to have this set up in Colorado/ Utah…. What a blast.
Let me know if you do it, or have any questions.

Nice straight forward instructions. If I remember right one way to remember which way to turn the adjusters to take up the slack is "down and out" Turning the star wheel down moves the shoes out. I think... Thanks.

Good video, and in my experience most people only worry about there trailer wheels when one falls of, you see it all the time on the highways. My choice for grease is Aeroshell 33, a little expensive but great for brakes and bearings.

Yeah I completely agree… it’s the first thing I do when I get a trailer, I’ve even heard of new trailers sometimes not having enough grease.
I don’t really understand not doing it, it only takes a couple hours and then no more worrying. I remember one trailer that came in the shop, the bearing had got so hot it was welded on the spindle. Tore up their tire, needed a completely new axle plus all the hassle to get it flat towed to the shop. Crazy.
I’ll check out that grease Thanks 👍

Ide like to put that electric brake system on my trailer. Do you have a link for video where you installed those brakes or were they stock? Great video btw! I have same size trailer with a v nose and I’m using your videos for guidance haha thanks again!

My existing axle didn’t have the flange to bolt up the brakes but I welded a flange on… I think you should already have the flange. 👍
