Yes they are great little tow videos. With a standard transmission it’s a little bit lower.

@@waysoutback Our current pickup is a 23 Tacoma TRD Off Road, double cab, 6’ bed. Our last pickup was a 11 Ranger XLT super cab with the 4.0L and 5spd automatic transmission, 4WD. It was our 4th Ranger, as we’ve been buying them since the 80s when they first came out. Good durable pickups

Scott vintage 1972. Price was right. It’s not very fast but very stable, which is great for fishing. we can even jump into the water and pull ourselves back in without tipping it.

I replaced it with a modern one.

That would be a pretty neat idea!…. I’ve seen a few trailers at the junkyard that have a front or back that’s fibreglass with the wood frame in between. Maybe you can pull one of those off and fibreglass it to size? To make it out of metal even aluminum I think would be pretty heavy, you might have to end up sliding your axle back. I hear you on the motivation…. I’m staring at mine and debating about pulling it all apart to double insulate it for this winter. 😅
