Thanks so much!! Really helpful since like so many folks I can't directly share my PBI Report Table to all my org (due to licensing issues).... So as a workaround, I now plan to set up a flow and extract/export the PBI table data directly into a Sharepoint List!! And format it nicely =)
Check out this video: Power BI Table to HTML & PDF th-cam.com/video/ROGmHdAYFH8/w-d-xo.html , one of the responses from Power BI integration allows you to do a per row action. Remember you only get 1000 rows
I am using power automate for export the data into SharePoint. I shared this report into power bi service, but user is unable to triggering, if he trigger unsuccessful showing....any suggestions...
Hi - I used your video to create the flow that works well. I do have a question. My user selects or tags records from a table in Power Bi. There are filters for them to create exactly what they need to analyze in Power Bi then click the button to run the flow and copy the records to SharePoint. My question is this, when you access the Power Bi visual the table is loaded up with 29,000 records -- if you accidentally click the flow button the FLOW can grab all the records. Is there a way for me to display the number of records being uploaded so i will know not to approve it. So, if they accidently select the button but the table has 3,000 records filtered can i stop it from running. Thanks
Hi, do a count rows measure on the table you are passing to Power Automate and put the measure in the flow as well. You can validate before doing anything if the value is greater than 3000 rows. Also you can display a notification in the report, maybe somewhere near the flow button, saying that the current filtered dataset contains more than the maximum allowed number of rows and that the flow will not run. Just for the user to know. Hope this idea helps

Hi!
is it possible to add action button for each row in table?
I need to perform some action when click button (send POST request or trigger PA flow)
