  • These are the most expensive trucks I have seen in 2023 and overpriced trucks have stopped selling. Ford, RAM, GM, Chevy and Toyota are raising prices. Over the past year I've been to dealerships all over the country and seen first hand how crazy these truck prices are. In my last video I talk about how the truck market just collapsed and in my opinion.. these high prices led to this disaster. So in this video I'm going to show you some of the most expensive trucks I've seen in 2023.
    Watch these next:

Thank you for the walk through on PRICING 😊 "Outrageous" will say from what I have seen. The working mans truck with a Diesel, saddest thing is $10 thousand dollar add on to price. I think that is because in my Humble opinion the R&D on the NEW transmission, adding gears (10 speed) remember the transmission was not strong enough to work with all that tork. But yes for a working mans pickup 🛻 the add on of 10 thousand is hard to justify.

Even toyota is building cheaper trucks and charging the same insane prices. I asked a Toyota dealership a week ago to knock off 7K or else I’m walking. They laughed and they said “No way! You are crazy?” Yesterday, that same dealership called me and knocked off 5K. I still said it’s still not enough off because of taxes, high interest rates, and high MSRP. If everyone holds out, we will all get a good deal on cars and trucks. Stay strong everyone. DO NOT BUY until prices come down 15K to 20K.

Last truck I bought was $2,800. 1992 Ford 4WD with 300 engine and 5 speed manual. It will eventually replace the Dakota. I can’t imagine spending over a few thousand for a pickup. Jusy my opinion from across the pond -
Unfortunately today, most CEO's haven't worked their way up through the industry and don't understand their customers or employees - their sole aim is to outdo the last CEO and return good dividends for the shareholders.
Longterm, that is to the detriment of the employees and the customers.
Once you lose the employees, the product is on a downward spiral.
When you add in the 4/5yr life cycle the manufacturer's have now built into the software, then most sensible people are sticking with their older models.
Just for info, I've worked for 2 American companies in the last 30yrs in the UK.... and seen it first hand.

Let’s be honest, it’s not the CEOs who are clowns, it’s the individuals paying for these prices who are the true clowns.
I purchased a brand new Ram 1500 on the last day of 2011 and paid 37k for it fully loaded. The truck was a Sport, 4 wheel drive, show room floor truck with dealer add ons like a leveling kit, Nitto Off-road tires and pocket fender flares.
When I get intercepted walking the dealer lots looking at these new outrageous prices I tell this story and they all claim those prices are a thing of the past. Which I’m sure they are but 100k for a truck is ridiculous, supply and demand along with Covid is no longer and excuse but I’m sure manufacturers lost a great deal of money they are trying to recoup and are simply being overzealous with these prices.

Granted my truck is modest being a Sierra SLT. But I got what I wanted, V8 gas engine , not 4x4, quad cab, alloy wheel. I’m into it for $34000. I can imagine driving a $129k truck off-road in the brush etc. I would cringe at the potential scratches and damage incurred in rock climbing etc. apparently people have more money than brains.

775 horsepower in a truck that can't go around the corners can't carry anything can't pull anything without tearing itself to pieces and gets about 2 mi to the gallon for 140k.... Now tell me how stupid people are for taking out student loans for useless degrees ?

When you take depreciation into account they are a huge rip off. People don’t have that kind of money to burn these days.

I paid $30,000 for my 2020 Toyota Tacoma Sr back in 2019. It'll probably Outlast every truck that you mentioned in this video.

Crazy high prices on vehicles that take any abuse must be fully maintained at all times... The great automotive industry started it's downfall many decades ago..They haven't produced anything worth $100,000,it will be scrap before the last payment is made if it survives that long. Absolute junk these days. I'll just keep driving my old 88 Chevy 1 ton.

No thanks. And not only that, but the used truck market is just as crazy. 8 yrs ago i bought a 98 dodge 4x4 wth a cummins diesel. 5 spd trans. Extra cab with a full size bed. With only 137,000 miles on it in great shape. Paid less than $ 10,000. A few months a ago i saw the almost identical truck at a dealership for $23,000. I think i,ll hang on to my 98 for an awful lot longer. Even when it starts to break down it will still be cheaper to fix it. By the way other than the price, my biggest beef with most trucks over the last several yrs is tha almost all 4 door trucks simular to mine have these short beds on them. I have seen some with a bed as short as 4ft. That makes this thing almost useless as a truck. I can fold down the seats and get more cargo in my 07 magnum. Why anyone would have a truck that doesnt have a full 8' box on it is beyond me.

Even if they depreciate 50 percent after the first year they STILL wouldn't be worth the price. The problem is people not valuing their money! I know how hard it is to make 100k. I damn sure ain't pissing it away on a vehicle!

So the problem with the automobile industry is that they aren't actually "selling" vehicles. They are "leasing" vehicles. Which means that no one is actually "buying" these vehicles. So dealerships are not actually getting the prices they really need for them. So what's their answer? Mark them up and over price them!

I priced trucks about six months ago and am still suffering sticker shock! I won’t be buying anytime soon. Disgusted over these high prices!

Not sure where you guys are purchasing trucks over 100k . I recently purchased a ford f-350 4x4 whit Blackwidow package . Under 80k the only thing I wish I could have got it with a different color interior… Yes some dealers charge a markup. I looked at a few trucks with the mark up …. I say bye and walk away. So it’s not the dealership it’s idiots who think they need to have it now !

How do these companies think that these prices can go up like this and that the economy Will survive no one will buy them .?

I will just wait, I have 5 older trucks that are all paid for, 1 monthly payment on 141000, thats a $2000 per month payment for 72 months, I can put a new engine in every truck I own this year and still pay less that a new truck payment.
