Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal.... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

I've been on all of the major cruise lines and I'd say Disney, Royal, & Celebrity are the only ones I'd consider for a future cruise

We were on Oasis a month ago. There is still a sundeck and wing areas over the bridge. They must have added it above the new wing rooms. You can now access it directly from the solarium. And yes, we wish we had skipped Cats.

Yes we love Brazilian Steakhouses!!! It's definitely worth it on board back home we spend about 150$ that 2 drinks and a dessert with the steakhouse meal

Just got back from our first RC cruise. It was wonderful, but I think I prefer Carnival, and my kids agreed.
Also, we only got 2 Gus's for our 5 day cruise. And we named the elevators Gloria😄.

we have a brazalian grill here in chattanooga called rodozio grill i went with a friend and her husband for her birthday and it was expensive but so good
In my experience carnival was never on the level that royal was on and i think disney is a little higher due to service and food but royal has more activies to do. I enjoy royal the most now that i sail on my own.

Hello love your videos. We are Canadian and RCCL is our choice. We were on Allure of the seas , Oasis of the seas, Symphony of the seas and love Allure the best from that class. We are on Serenade of the seas next to Alaska then Ovation of the seas back to back Hawaii then Alaska. Then next year Radiance of the seas Back to Back Pacific coast from Vancouver to San Diego then San Diego to Tampa Panama canal. You should try the Radiance class they are older but beautiful. Anyhow great video's.

You guys did a great job. food looks great. we like Central 150, chops, Giovanni-s, Samba in that order but it;s all good especially in you get the ultimate dining package, we paid 170.00 per person for ten meals, that;s cheap. think about it, 17.00 per meal, where can you go and get soup,salad, appetizer and two meals and two desserts for 17.00, we did not like cats at all. wait till ou go on the Oasis and go to port side BBQ, oh I forgot Hibachi grill

RCCL is WAY more costly and just for me the ships are way to big and it took me 5 of 7 days to get to find my room with out spending 10 mins to looking for it. lol

So. . . I am "old people" now. Brian, life is short. I never thought I would get old so fast. When I was about 29, we lived in St. Croix. I thought my neighbor was asking me if I was 35. He really hurt my feelings. People that were 35 seemed so old to me at the time. Now, I feel like people in their 30s are babies (cute babies - not trying to offend). My neighbor was actually asking if I was certified (scuba) in his sweet accent. It is all relative.

I hate to tell you guys, but I don't feel like there's a ton of difference between Royal and Carnival either, and I slightly prefer Carnival. I've never been on an Oasis class ship, so maybe that would make a difference. (I'd love to catch a Broadway show and an aquatic show on a cruise ship.) But in a lot of ways, I actually prefer a smaller ship, so maybe not.
We are a Carnival family as well as we have seen little difference between the two except the price. But like you guys said we have never done Oasis-class so we will be doing that this Christmas to compare to the Excel class that we will do this summer. But with that, the shows on Royal are way better and in that aspect Carnival needs to step their game up.
What are your thoughts now to compare Carnival vs. Royal. I was on 3 cruises of each line last year. I found them pretty equal. Carnival better with food, comedians, and price. Everything else was pretty equal.
Would love to see Mama Mia. Was disappointed with Wonder’s entertainment which I never said before on a Royal ship. Taps was a takeoff of Stomp, show from Broadway years ago. Sorry if some here disagrees. But the ship had lots of hype so we expected more .
