Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl..... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

The storms is what I worried about for our September 2023 sailing, I read an article that said September is the month with the most -.- so that's fun
I went on the Dream and hung out in the adult section every day. It was very peaceful and quiet. I went on the aqua duck over 5 times I loved it! I think the aqua mouse on the Wish looks disappointing based on the videos I saw. I’m a Royal Caribbean fan but the Disney cruises are just magical. Enjoyed watching! Can’t wait for the next one!

Fun fact: After this cruise one of the lifeboat somehow ended up in Brian's back yard. Nobody knows why or how. But the whispers speaks of Brian REALLY wanted to be a ship captain!

On my first Disney Cruise, it was REALLY REALLY wavy. I got really seasick which was ironic since my sister was saying how she gets really seasick but she was perfectly fine! That was the worst part of the cruise, but it didn't ruin the experience. Now I am going again, and I am going to prepare for seasickness and wear the bands and take Dramamine. Both are on the Dream.
I recall my first cruise on Majesty of the Seas in 1998 they announced our names upon entry on the ship ....cruising back then was so different

Disney actually just bought a half built ship that was meant for a company that went bankrupt.

A lot of passengers choose to wear lanyards for their sea pass cards, but we use them to carry camera stuff.

If I live in Canada, and would like to take my first ever cruise, do you think it is worth it to get Alaska cruise via Vancouver? My friend told me that the ship from Vancouver to Alaska is so small, and it's better go to US cruise to bahamas for instance. Well, the price is differemt tho?

Disney is nice, but so expensive. I booked a 6-night caribbean cruise for about $100 cheaper than this exact cruise would've been for 3 nights.
Here’s you answer “687 was the number called the “yard,” “keel” or “hull” number, assigned to the Disney Dream by its builders. The dream was assembled in the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany. They used a specific number to designate each project. Therefore, the material used to build the Dream was all labeled with the number “687.”
Reminder… they are not satellite balls they are Internet Balls (my four year old granddaughter told me so).

Has anyone pointed out that you misinterpreted the painting in the stateroom? It’s not meant to be Castaway Cay. It’s a Caribbean port and the people waving are the residents of the port city, as the ship arrives/leaves.

I am a 1 and done person. There are so many things to do and places to go in the world, I have never wanted to repeat. I enjoyed my time on the Dream so much that I booked a placeholder before leaving the ship.

If you guys are big Disney Parks fans, then you’ll probably love a Disney cruise. Royal’s Oasis Class is always a great option for a first cruise ever. There are so many different restaurants and activities, and the ship will have less motion

I was on the magic once. Customer service is amazing. I hope you got to experience the most magical moment...a random Disney character coincidentally taking your elevator.
(Also they never break character. I walked by the theater while a show was going on and 3 rats ran out of it and started asking me if I had seen Cinderella. I walked past Dr strange once having an infinity stones conversation with one of the handlers)
We never got to experience this magic! We didn’t run into many characters. But we totally agree, the customer service on Disney really sets it apart.

We went as a family pretty much every year!
