There are some good pointers in the video. Thanks mate! I haven't sailed on RCCL since December 2019. We did board at the RCCL terminal last time which sort of recall was a snap with Mariner of the Seas. Allure will be another story. I'm kind of thinking of just using the offsite parking at the Radisson and let them get us to the ship. I guess it depends on our boarding time. We are doing a 3-night weekend cruise on Allure the 1st weekend of February followed by a 4-night Caribbean cruise at the end of April on the Allure.
Thanks especially for the tip about being able to book shows the beginning of the month prior. Also saw your video about MSC, and we took a 4 day cruise out of Port Canaveral for a really good price and it was almost as good as Royal Caribbean. Their private island was great if you don't want to go to a water park.
Great advice. I went on Allure for a 7 day cruise and didn’t see it all and went back a second time and felt much better. With the cost of a weekend cruise (book another one) or to do a b2b, you can then really enjoy this fabulous ship. I loved Mama Mia and saw it both times, but personally, I’d rather see the ice skating show (it is shorter so more time to do other things too).
Am going next month - #3 already made my specialty restaurant reservations and reservations for Mama Mia and the Aqua Theater. #8 Am taking a GoPort shuttle from my hotel in Orlando to Port Canaveral so it's actually door-to-door service already. Looks pretty smooth - am hoping it works out fine.
Great information and thank you. Always thought about taking Brightline from WPB to Orlando and chalking the costs up to wear and tear on our car. But if you are telling me the shuttle back and forth is not the greatest I will have to rethink things or settle for smaller ships in Ft Lauderdale or Miami. Also wish Royal was more affordable and had more included options.
You can save lots of time by taking advantage of Sky or Star Class perks on Oasis/Quantum ships. Just reserve all shows in advance with the concierge. You’ll always have quick service at Coastal Kitchen for all meals and priority embarkation/debarkation. No standing in lines anywhere. I know it’s pricey but it’s definitely a different no-hassle experience.
Great tips! But I got the Key because it will be our first cruise and I wanted a great experience. Plus it comes with WiFi for the kids. And knowing about Moma mMia now I won’t book it and bore the kids.
Thanks for calling this out! I always forget they offer breakfast here but you are very right! More limited minimum than the buffet but they have all the normal breakfast food.
I think the best practice is to always get reservations when possible. The Comedy show is one of the more popular shows and certainly sales out. Even with the Key, I always recommend showing up 15 minutes early to secure a seat.
What tips would you add for someone doing a SHORT cruise on a BIG ship? How was your experience if you have done this?
Love those weekend cruises! I love to just relax.
Hey Brandon, funny I saw you on the Oasis and we were on the Allure at Cococay. Thanks for the tips! Keep up the good work.
hahah I am learning I can be spotted just about anywhere! That was very funny and a first for me! Good eye!

Completely agree on MSC! It is a very comparable experience and I prefer Ocean Cay over Cococay these days. Glad you enjoyed!

Thanks for great video! We sailing on her the end of January.
Have a blast!
Super helpful tips! Thanks!
Phenomenal tips thank you so so much for all your insight!!!
My pleasure Mitchella!

For Orlando I am not sure it is worth it to save money. The Uber ride from Orlando to Port will prob grease any savings.

Awesome thanks!

Congrats on 15k. Appreciate your videos.
Thanks Warren! Always appreciate you cheering me on!
Selerum is a good place to get breakfast and the dining room.

Haven't been on the Allure in a while. Has the Ice Show changed from Ice Games to a new one called Blade? Good tips, Brandon!
It is Blade now! For longer sailings, they may have had a second show but in short cruises are only doing one.
Do you still need to make reservations for the Ice Show and Mama Mia if you have the key? What about the comedy shows?

Thank you! Where do you pick up Uber when you leave the port?
Right outside the cruise terminal. Once you walk out, walk forward towards the pick up area. Very easy!
@@TheWeekendCruiser thanks! I enjoy the videos!
