Wonderful tutorial Thank you Simple and Beautifully Explained. One question I have ... can I also make a toggle that I can deactivate and activate the audio in my menu ? if so how do I do that?
To clarify: the Gain slider in the SpatialAudioSource is used for volume loudness, copying the minimum distance value into the gain slot limits you if your minimum distance is too small.
can you make a tutorial for toggles ? i'd like to add a lot of audios on my avatar and set them to be like normal toggles. so i click on it, and i can hear the song until i unlick it. i'm trying rn but i'm using toggle assistant because i'm bad at toggles, and when i click on the toggle, i don't hear my audio
Ok, So I Have An Issue, Where VRC Is Limiting The Sound Of The Audio, So It Doesn't Sound Like It's Playing At Full Volume In Game, But On Play Mode In Unity, It Sounds Perfectly Fine.
I often make the mistake of whenever I add audio. Other players can hear it, even if they're on the other side of the world. Will this tutorial help with that?
Yes! If you look at 1:50 I explain where you can set the volume rolloff and set the min - max distance however you want. You can visibly see two spheres around your avatar, which is where how far or close people can hear. 2:35 also explains that which also points out not to make the "red line" mistake which causes world audio.
SO maybe you can tell me I made a particle system with an audio source I put it on my hip root and created a toggle the toggle works BUT it also plays the audio when I calibrate my fbt every time XD halp.
Glad I came across you someone who knows what they’re doing…
Thanks!
Right on topic to the point, good audio quality and well presented. You earned my respect. Subscribed. :)

Just add a toggle for the audiosource item in the hierarchy, as for any other toggle too. There are dozen of tuutorials online for that

I've fully followed this guide to set up my audio on a avatar and the audio is not working aka playing on both playmode or vrchat. :/

Mhmmm. I want to add audio for when I toggle something on, and then off (stealth toggle). So two sounds for the same toggle. is that possible?
so how do you add multiple songs to the head so it plays in a list instead of just one song
OK cool But Now I cant hear the audio at all? help please?
Same issue here, can't hear my audio at all not even in VrChat on its own & I followed everything the guide says to do. :/
For some reason if my Max distance is set to 10 or bellow, it is just mute.
well for me i can hear it when i spawn in but no one else can hear it
