Why do you still play Borderlands 2?
Theres just so much to do, and always a pretty obvious thing that would help you. Its like minecraft for people that have no idea what they want to do when they boot up the game

It's the game that me and my best friend bonded over, we've played TPS, BL1, BL3 and Wonderlands. Modded it here and there but we just mutually love the game been friends with him now for about a decade and the enjoyment just never really died out.
The charm of the game just never ceases, and because of that, youtube has been a massive part of bl2 over the years. Every run is fun to play or watch because you either learn something new or witness hilarious obscene moments.
The bl2 youtube community has always been awesome since the start - and thanks to you it still is. Not to take away from how much draw the game still has with its replayability and mods, but the youtube content brings me back to it every time.
Watching you became a part of my daily routine now. I come home, sit down, get some food and just enjoy the good vibes and energy of your videos. I can't thank you enough for being such a consistent, wholesome and awesome influencer! I still play some borderlands 2 when I get inspired by some of your runs. Never stop being you Joltz

I still play borderlands 2 because I started the same "quest to perfection" type thing years ago, but only for base game (for now) and only need the hide of terra now! Its my final hunt until I take a long break.
Also, in the wildlife perserve, theres a thin spot between a hill and the ladder below the bridge, you know the place, that area DESTROYS enemy AI. Engineers will go in that area easily, but if you bring them really far in, they break and run away while still aggro, and float of the edge of the spawn location hut nearby. Power Loaders will not go anywhere near as close, and will only range shot you. If you use a knockback method/crit stun them closer to you while youre in the corner, theyll run back and range shot you. Have no clue why. I just discovered these things today, and bought a membership because I was super excited to share it!
(Also if engineers walk on a little bump on the hill, theyll just stand still)

I knew a guy who got a perfect* Hide on his PS4. He showed me video evidence and everything. I would try to get the video from him, but alas, we don’t talk anymore for a number of reasons.
*Arguably perfect. He was playing on OP8 and it dropped at OP6. I think it still counts, but feel free to disagree.

Everyone has their comfort game. For the longest time, mine was Killing Floor 2.
I started played Borderlands at the age of 12 and fell in love, shortly after BL2 came out and I haven’t had a game experience like it since. I just turned 23, and I still continue to play BL2. The feeling of getting a legendary or even a Pearl just sends a feeling of child hood explosion to my heart still. Borderlands will always be a huge part of my life and I look forward to the future of the franchise.

I think I enjoy your runs more than actually playing because tbh I'm impatient with farming, but all of the borderlands games holds a place in my heart and I do enjoy coming back to all of them.

Question related to this: With Exodus overhauling and adding so many things, would you consider doing challenge runs specific to that mod? The additions make Tediore and Jakobs runs a lot more interesting, for example.

I love how you continue finding new things and sharing those in your videos, and your positive vibe is so infectional! Your videos are comfort food that always make me happy and I basically always learn something new and cool about one of my favorite games of all time!
I stumbled on your channel pretty much by accident while looking for some challenge runs of any game to watch, then came the speedruns and I ended up staying for any run you did.
Im not even a big fan of the series when it comes to playing it myself, Ive pretty much only beaten like normal mode for bl3 and a few half assed characters on Bl2, but for some reason I find myself getting hyped every time I see you upload and really immersed in your playthroughs, hoping you get the drop you want (with matching grip ofc), seeing the skips and builds you perform and generally just watch you crush the game over and over, and it somehow doesnt get old at all.
Your personality and the passion you have for the game is truly amazing and I wish I had a game I loved as much as you do Bl2, and I think that passion is one of the things that makes your content so god damn enjoyable. I hope you keep enjoying the game for many years to come as your runs have become part of my routine to the point of rewatching them just because.

Man you made videos on this game back when I was playing on the xbox 360. Young me wanted to get far like my older brother did. I eventually stopped playing, but you and my brother got me into the other titles centered around borderlands. Now I looked back on it and started playing again on my pc. Thanks man! ❤
Right there with you. I may not have as many hours as you, but I am still playing as I rotate through different games. Borderlands 2 is one I always come back to. I'm glad there are content creators who are still combing through this game and sharing what they find, doing gear review, etc... I have been playing BL2 quite a bit, to almost 2 years now. I am still having a lot of fun with it and right now I am just farming for a lot of different gear and mid maxing all my current gear. Joltz your videos are so amazing and keep up the good work. Thank you.
i still enjoy playing borderlands games for mostly the same reasons. i love challenge runs and the occasional modded shenanigans. i also think that you, k6, and a bunch of the speedrunners/challenge runners keep me coming back to the series!

I still play this game due it being my favourite.
I don't play it as often anymore, but seeing you start your Exodus Axton playtrough i just needed to play it again.
This game is similiar to minecraft for me, i have long periods where i don't play it, but seeing you play it, or other streamers i just get sucked in another 2 month period where i religiously play these games.
You're by far a big reason i still play it to this day. New builds, new challenge runs i could try. Thanks for bringing us consistant content for probably over 4-5 years now!❤️
I remember when bl3 was out the thing I missed the most were your different playthroughs you would do on borderlands 2. When you got back to uploading them again I was so hyped!

I remember 5 years ago I saw your first videos and I enjoyed the series from the first Borderlands the most, where you enjoyed the series the most. Even the first episode has something to it.

Yesterday I finished my first playthrough of Borderlands 1 and, as a big fan of the franchise in general, I really think it's still an amazing game, even by today's standards.The gunplay is very solid and there's even stuff I prefer (I only have 20 hours) over BL2. Big part of my love for Borderlands comes from you; mainly your knowledge of the games and humor. Hope to see you around more, and keep enjoying BL2 forever :)
BL1's DLCs are in another level. They are sooo good.
After playing the craptrap out of BL1, I just finished BL2 second playthrough but I'm kind of unhappy with the game, I prefer the first one. Also I discovered the infinity gun, equipped it with a purple sheriff's badge + maya's fire rate COM and...I just broke the game.
Borderlands is better in some areas the antagonist is way better. I still like 1 the atmosphere and music is the best and you feel like a survivor in a wasteland.
I remember being in the 6th grade watching joltz do the og ultimate axton playthrough, and here we are nearly 7 years later and im still watching, keep up the great work joltz, heres to watching your videos for another 7 years lmao

I enjoy your content so much, from time to time I kind of reset and I find myself watching old playlists. I know you have said that you're not a perfect efficiency run, but I do follow your builds and your playthroughs from time to time to give myself a challenge. I always start by turning BAR off

Funny thing, I didn't even care for borderlands 2 that much until one of your playthrough videos poped up on my feed (i think it was sniper only zero). After that inital video, i started binge watching all the playthroughs. It reached a point where I literally check either in the evening or in the morning (depends if its on a weeekend or not) to check out your latest upload. Also made me play through BL2 as well as BL3 with some friends (which was a great time btw). Love the content, so do me and a lot of people a favor and keep it up !

I only have around 500/600 hours in BL2 and some 100-200ish in both bl and tps, but I still comeback every once in a while to replay a character with a specific challenge run that is always inspired by you joltz. Not just the game bl2 is amazing, but the mechanics, story, atmosphere just feels right.
And for your channel its simple: good personality, humor and high quality content combined with consistency makes your YT channel one of my all-time in rotation channel. Thanks gearbox for bl2 and thanks joltz for the content :)

I love how many class options you can run with so many different kinds of guns. It’s really satisfying to grind for gear and then finish the end game content
God I wish I could do this with any game. My brain physically doesn't let me keep playing a game I've already beaten. All the dopamine just stops. I would love to do challenge runs or speedruns but I just can't. BUT that's why there are guys like you I watch so I can play vicariously through your vids. So thanks!

But seriously, I do really love your series, there are a few channels that make series or channels like this that make my day, it might not seem like much but its something to look forward to each day and your enjoyment of this game (and knowledge about it because of that) is so wholesome and fun to watch.
Dont have much space on my PC but have decided to reinstall BL2 (and maybe give the mod a go at some point), my ADHD makes it hard to go back to "old" games (idk why), but your series have convinced it that I still should :)

I honestly find it amazing that you still keep playing the game pretty much every day (unless you have run in different game of the franchise), I come back to it every now and then but still could never play it constantly. But it is important to have fun while playing the game and if BL2 do that for you that makes me happy.

I must admit, I was first introduced to BL2 when my younger brother got it as a birthday present when it first came out. I got genuinely curious when I saw the box art and heard him explain the concept of the game, so I asked to play splitscreen co-op with him on the old Xbox 360, and we had fun beating the game to the very end. Nowadays, we might not play co-op as much anymore but seeing content creators like yourself and the modding community do the things you do to make the game refreshingly fun and unique makes me look back on the old Vanilla days of BL2 with nostalgia and forever grateful that my brother got me into this game. Keep up the amazing work!

My bl2 white whale was getting one of every pearlescent weapon in the game. A few years ago, I sat down and finally grinded them out. It was mainly those darn Gen 2 pearls that were the hardest but after several days of grinding, I finally got the last of them to drop. It was a Bekah. And I’ll cherish it forever… but I haven’t felt the need to go back and play since. Maybe one day I’ll return but there are too many games on my “to be played” list right now to head back just yet
The first thing, that comes in my mind when i hear Borderlands 2, is Joltzdude, ngl!
