Just a question I got confused with the Xbox 360 port. Is the XBLA and the BFG Edition the same? Since the BFG Edition is on Xbox 360 and it has a port of Doom.
ok, just finished watching the video and i got some stuff to say about it, first is that you did a good job on documenting each version, however, i expected to see you commenting about the versions besides "this version was released in 20XX for this platform" and also the fact that the music is too loud is very distracting
@@gold4668 thank you, I see that. My headphones I had when editing had them at a proper volume that was fit for me to hear myself and all. This was my 1st time doing this video type. And hearing that makes me happy as I need to know what I can improve on my next video and I thank you for it.
@@FenneyZombies , uh, you ARE aware that there's going to be a new version of Doom that will be available for the SNES/NSFC in either 2025 or 2026, right?
I am a little confused, you said you had to use emulators to play the game. But emulators don't include Doom by default? So that was the only part that was confusing. Great video
@@Duckyy. I think it's just called SNES Doom Definitive Edition. It's a proper licensed physical cartridge being released officially by Limited Run Games as an improved version for the system in 2025.
The PSX DOOM deserves some respect and love since it's the only port that actually kickstarted DOOM 64. Just hope the new DOOM release includes this as an add-on one day. There's also final DOOM PSX but honestly, who cares about that?
@@FenneyZombies , speaking of Doom 64, there's ports of it all over modern consoles, as well as for the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console, the Nintendo Wii U, the Nintendo 3DS/2DS, and someone is working on a homemade port of it for the Sega Dreamcast.

Constructive criticism here, but this just seems like a very basic list. Most of the ports you have nothing really to say about and even ones like the PlayStation port that you apparently really like, you don’t elaborate upon what made it good or stand out from the other ports.
