Just one correction on the clear case. I have had Apple's clear case on my iPhone 13 Pro for 2 years and it has not yellowed one single bit. It's still just as clear as the day I put it on my then new phone. It's the difference between Apple's 100% polycarbonate case versus cheaper silicone ones that can literally start to yellow within days.

I just started using the FineWoven (blue). My previous case was a Silicon (not Apple) case that stuck to my pockets. I am a little concern about the slickness of the FineWoven. I'm hoping over time it gets a little more sticky on the sides like the previous Leather cases did.
@@amirtaraj I'm a fan now of the FineWoven case. The back is the woven material and feels good in my hand. The edges are a plastic material that slides out of the pocket nicely but not too slippery. I'm also finding that the woven material cleans up well. Others have said it stains easily. I could see that happening under the right conditions but I'm still happy and I've had mine for coming up on a year. If I look carefully at the back of the case, I see wear marks from holding the phone and putting it in and out of my pocket. I'm still a huge fan of the FineWoven.

@@tbread1128 yes, my bad!! That's exactly why I'm even considering it, because of how it behaved in the video when having both wallet and case from finewoven.
I like it but i got both and for better fall damage reduction leather last more im from nyc so yeah it matters lol btw my silicone corners get damaged quickly when it falls but feels great. The leather in the other hand keeps the smell of your cologne on it and patinas which makes it classy imo.
Apple replaced the leather with cheap recycled fabric to “save the environment” yet they kept the price the same lol so its basically to profit more money has nothing to do with the environment.
It's not recycled, he mentioned it in the video, it's new and it's fine woven - not the cheapest option. Silicon is the cheapest one. Also, Apple got rid of leather cases not because of environment, but because of animal cruelty. For the environment, they did other things like optimize the production process of iPhones to use less water on production lines. As much as I like leather, it's literally skinned animals that die for this. If you like leather - there are synthetic leather options. I also like that fine woven material, I have the leather case and fine woven one side by side.
I’ve had the clear and silicone cases when I got my 13 pro max and the silicone case chipped really bad and the clear one started coming apart too after a while which is unacceptable for how much they cost would probably go with fine woven although I don’t like any of the colors the have so still not sure which case to get for my 15 pro max and it delivers tomorrow 😩
@@danguelph2676yes, the synthetic junk fine woven case is made from recycled material, which will end up in a landfill forever. And humans eat meat to survive, fyi, so cows do not “die for this”. The humane thing and responsible thing to do is use the whole animal and not waste any.
in my experience with rhe 12 pro max all the way to my late 14 pro maxRIP with the green screen of death now the silicone has tended to trear and snap easily especially around the edges and charging port but I guessing that wear and tear is just the case doing it's job protecting my iphones from countless falls so definitely looking for something stronger less destructible and more protective 🙏🏽👍🏽
Heard only negative things about these new cases. I'll go with an off brand. I had a Mous with the Mous wallet on my 12PM and it was really good. The wallet sticks really well to the case.
Well, I would never choose an iphone, but personally for my OnePlus phones, I use later cases for around 4 years now, and they r the best in my opinion, it gives full back and corners protection, with some amount of protection for the frame, and giving the chance of enjoying the shape of the phone with that insanely thin case.
I’ve used Oneplus in the past but iPhones last longer in terms of software updates. I found some of the features on apps are only available on iPhones and their focused on privacy is the selling point for me

I just started using the FineWoven (blue). My previous case was a Silicon (not Apple) case that stuck to my pockets. I am a little concern about the slickness of the FineWoven. I'm hoping over time it gets a little more sticky on the sides like the previous Leather cases did.
how is the experience of taking out from jeans pocket with finewoven case? is it sticky as silicone or easy to take out?
@@amirtaraj I'm a fan now of the FineWoven case. The back is the woven material and feels good in my hand. The edges are a plastic material that slides out of the pocket nicely but not too slippery. I'm also finding that the woven material cleans up well. Others have said it stains easily. I could see that happening under the right conditions but I'm still happy and I've had mine for coming up on a year. If I look carefully at the back of the case, I see wear marks from holding the phone and putting it in and out of my pocket. I'm still a huge fan of the FineWoven.
@@JeffStaffon thank you for the detailed update, I have been using silicone for sometime and each time I take it out of pocket it pulls out the inner clothing that time I missed the leather cases that I had with previous phone, so will give fine woven a try as I am now confident from your update.
@@amirtaraj I hope you like it as much as I do!
i have 13pm. i would like to buy the silicon cover
I would choose the black later case... and I did. Waiting on a October shipping date.
The only Apple case I would ever buy would have been the leather one.!😢
what happened to the lew later show?
There's no definitive statement from them, but I think they said in maybe the last episode or a post or something that time and the economics of it weren't working out. He promised to try for a weekly upload after figuring things out, but I guess that didn't turn out.
Will any of the base model iPhone 15 cases also fit the base model iPhone 14 ??
I bought a 10 dollar magsafe clear case while I wait and see what other options come out.
Waiting for my later case for 15 I’m excited.
I wish YOUR iphone cases for the 15 Pro Max would go back to not having a full camera cover. I remember the first year you did cases and they were so nice, just not a fan of the full camera coverage
The camera cover IS good. However I wish there were no gaps around the switches or open at the bottom!
@@cpufrost I’m just not a fan personally of this design, I like the open format around the cameras for asthetics but that’s just me 😊
Silicone is more protective and durable. Clear always looks good, but that opening at the bottom doesn’t protect it. Woven will look raggedy fast.
Yo need to consider closed top and bottom for the later case.
I got the clear case from apple, but I've always wanted to have the wallet. After seeing how more secured it is with the new material I'm definitely gonna give the wallet and case a run, now to choose colors that go together lol
Do not get the wallet, it’s awful😬
@@Tom3294. From a utility perspective? Or?
The new wallet does not stick to the clear case, the finewoven slips off the clear case much more than this video implies, don’t combine them
Unless you mean finewoven case x wallet, they stick together like glue
@@tbread1128 yes, my bad!! That's exactly why I'm even considering it, because of how it behaved in the video when having both wallet and case from finewoven.
@@jesuswitcraft9067 nvm then, I think that would be a great combo functionally speaking!
Are you still making your own cases?? Sad Apple ditched leather. Looking for a good leather full grain replacement
Silicone case is the best one. Won’t have to worry about it falling out my pocket and the "stickiness" isn’t a big deal whatsoever for me.
I’d stick with silicon. I like it being sticky.
Same! It’s oddly satisfying and adds a nice grip.
I like it but i got both and for better fall damage reduction leather last more im from nyc so yeah it matters lol btw my silicone corners get damaged quickly when it falls but feels great. The leather in the other hand keeps the smell of your cologne on it and patinas which makes it classy imo.
Leather please! The fine woven isn’t premium for look or feel, sadly. Been using it so experience says it all .
Got mine yesterday I got the silicone clay color 15 pro max titanium ehhh
lets ignore that lew isnt posting alot of content but im sure something isnt ok. but much love for a guy that made me a regular youtube viewer
@@danguelph2676 lol like the care about animal cruelty, beef eaters
@@chainsawman-stoicYou’re right, Apple needs to immediately cease all of their domestic and international beef distribution.
in my experience with rhe 12 pro max all the way to my late 14 pro maxRIP with the green screen of death now the silicone has tended to trear and snap easily especially around the edges and charging port but I guessing that wear and tear is just the case doing it's job protecting my iphones from countless falls so definitely looking for something stronger less destructible and more protective 🙏🏽👍🏽
I bought a DBrand Ghost case, let’s see if their clear is really anti yellowing
I went with the black woven case , I hate those cases with the big ass circle on the back it looks tacky , & the silicone cases always break down
Nothing beats the Mous Cases! 🙌🏼
Damn RIP Kobe🖤🙏🏾
I have the fine woven and i love it. Its still in good shape. Lot of bad reviews but im not disappointed at all. Fine woven over silicone
Pre-ordered a later case
I personally love to carry my ids and cards in the phone case, which one u think would be best for that?
This channel has been reduced to what is essentially an informercial channel.
Yea what happened?
Just ordered a latercase. They are waaaay better than anything else.
I always like the grippy feel and all the color options of apple silicone cases.
I’m choosing the clear case or your Latercase since I don’t like the lower lip
I think the best combination is the IPhone 15 pro, black color with a clay silicone case
Heard only negative things about these new cases. I'll go with an off brand. I had a Mous with the Mous wallet on my 12PM and it was really good. The wallet sticks really well to the case.
Can you share what hoodie are you wearing? Looks great!😅
Please let us know if and how bad are compared to the old ones: they couldn't resist to any small drop without ending up looking terrible!
Please do a video on watch straps too
Ordered the Evergreen FineWoven for my Pro Max
Well, I would never choose an iphone, but personally for my OnePlus phones, I use later cases for around 4 years now, and they r the best in my opinion, it gives full back and corners protection, with some amount of protection for the frame, and giving the chance of enjoying the shape of the phone with that insanely thin case.
I’ve used Oneplus in the past but iPhones last longer in terms of software updates. I found some of the features on apps are only available on iPhones and their focused on privacy is the selling point for me
I'm surprised they stopped the leather. Best case in my opinion
I already purchased that exact fine woven case before my new 15 Pro Max in natural titanium arrives 😅
