- First Ride and Review of the newly released Gen3 CFMOTO CFORCE 800 Touring ATV. We are at ERX Motorpark and we are getting to test out a pre production CFORCE and let you see it in action out on the trails. We will compare it to the previous gen 2 CFMOTO CFORCE 800 XC.

Love that they finally moved the brake handle to the left side. Same as the Polaris and Can Ams I've always ridden.
Went riding with my buddy last night. He has a Brute Force 750 . He looked at the CF Moto 800 and said man I’m going to smoke you once we get back on the trails . I let him lead because I didn’t know the area and he does needless to say the only thing smoked were a couple of cigarettes. I was on his ass the whole ride. When we stopped he said man I can’t believe that thing is just as quick as the Brute. Love my 800 it’s awesome and we did some wide open riding last night some crazy terrain the machine ate everything I threw at it

I've never owned a Cfmoto, but they seem like awesome machines. Love that they are finally putting the brake on the left. That's what I was always used to from owning a Can Am. Hoping to get on one of the new 800 or 1000 touring models in the near future! Thanks for the videos!!
it also on my 2023 cforce 600 controls only the front brakes pedal on foot well does both they do amazing burnouts haha
I think a death can-am is still much better than a brand new cfmoto .. you guys are luckier than us living in usa. In turkey we can’t even find a good mechanicer or a dealer or a service .. we have to wait more than a month even for small parts .. i have a chance to get my parts from usa and europe via my friends but not everyone has the same chance like me ..

Have you guys thought about using ND filters and media mods with your footage? Granted, I had to modify mine to fit both at the same time, but it wasn’t difficult. If you do decide to do so, try out using 2 individual microphones connected by a L/R splitter into the media mod. Then put the mics with some wind socks/tufts somewhere where there’s really good engine noise or exhaust test vids. I used the Olympus ME-15 microphones. Good sensitivity with no electronics to interfere.

On another note for these quads you're selling around $10,000 is a game changer in value. For my sportsman 1000S I got a hell of a deal at 13,000 buying last year's model with 200 miles but I would never in the world pay $17, 999 for a quad.. that's mentally insane to do so! And see if Moto has a badass intelligent screen that the Polaris or Can-Am does not have...😢
Always been a Polaris guy but for the money this is tempting, very tempting.

The new 1000 is a beauty. I’m praying for a release of it in Germany. Unfortunately I can’t find anything about a possible release of them for the European market.

I have a 2022 Polaris 570 premium. i like it I wish they would do something with the shifter.
One more thing please. Seems like the difference between 1000 and 800 aside from power is the adjustable shocks/suspension. Anything else different?
Are the 600 & 500's getting updates? That's what I'm looking to purchase in the spring.
did you notice the power difference between Gen 2 and 3? Sorry I keep asking but, any issues with heat or has the new exhaust configuration solved that? Great video as always. I appreciate that you do these
The exhaust heat does seem a lot better... as far as the power difference, I could tell that the clutching and tune on the pre production model was way off from where it needs to be.. so I felt the potential but it wasn't dialed in for this test ride. Got to get our hands on the production models now to really test and see

I called my dealer and put deposits on 2 of the new 1000 version after your video the other day. He currently doesn't have a eta but thinks I should have them by summer.
I'll wait a year to sort tuning out and I'll be sending you the computers lol

I didn’t know you could make deposits on it before the dealer even has it, can you do that at most any dealer?
@@crfamily6946 at least around here it's pretty common. For example I put down a $500 deposit on each machine I want, it varys but the deal we had was a simple form that I'm first on the list when one comes in, and if in 180 days they don't have it, I can either take my deposit back or just keep waiting.
Deposits are good business in this area, it let's them know how many the area has demand for and helps insure against non serious buyers who might order a 12k machine abs leave your shop stuck with it.
I have a gen 2. I see they even moved the shifter to the other side. Wondering what all they changed.

When I see you ripping through the woods which I thought this is what these were meant for and working of course the question that I really have to ask is Why would you need bluetooth and apple car play and not make it an option ?
Is there a big difference in power between gen 2 and Gen 3? On paper they say there is but are you able to feel the difference in speed or power

The fan won't kick on at all and I've pulled the fuse and put it back in ( doesn't look burnt) I heard it could be a thermoswitch but don't want to mess with it until I'm positive. Greatly appreciate it of you could respond

By the looks of it, it may feel faster but it wasn't showing up on the video, it's subtle if anything.
Thats definitely not the quad I would buy for that kind of riding. I'd be interested to know how they hold up after 500 miles of trail riding out West.

Gen 3 will probably be full of problems for 2-3 years.Gen 2 is already perfectioned after years of testing , reviews and tuning

If cfmoto wanted to roll in money, they would design a trail sport quad like a 400 or 500. Like the 400ex or ltz400. Nobody sells a sport trail anymore except raptor 700 for 10k, then the yfz450.

I have to admit that I have to give credit where credit is due... these new CF motos especially the 1k with the same 90 horsepower as a Polaris looking mighty fine!!! But still my sportsman 1000S is still the baddest quad on a planet at this time.. I would love to ride with you boys, It would have been very interesting to say the least!

The pwr and handling can only be expressed by the operator, can't describe it in simple words.!
Cf moto should really concentrate on their power steering issues with gen 2 before creating more electrical issues for gen 3 owners

The clutching and tuning on this early pre production model was no where close to where the final product is much better. But the production model according to cfmoto is way better than what we drove.
i like the new Display but it looks weird on a ATV :D

heres what i dont get with any offroad utv or atv with nice screens if somone wanted to make some money why dont someone make screen protectors for the screens you know how easy they get scratched people just rubbing the dust n mud off them scratching the hell outy of the screen i guess id pay 20 bucks for screen protector vs 500 to a grand for a new display unit hell thats the first thing i do to my vechile is put screen protector on the touch screen feel free to send me royalties when ya start selling screen protectors lol

The thing that surprised me the most is that they accelerate about the same. The Gen 3 has at least 16 more horsepower pushing 80+ pounds less weight. It should be significantly faster. 🤷

Kinda looks like the gen 3 pushes in the corners more than the gen 2.
The Clutching wasn't as snappy and in the soft sandy terrain it didn't wanna kick the back end around as easy..
but remember this was one of the first pre production units that we tested. it has been drastically improved since...(well according to CFMOTO)
But we will find out for yall soon

Instead of describing the trail that we can readily see, it would have been nice to hear feed back on back-shifting, handling, suspension, acceleration, transmission shifting ..... things like that. Fun video but learned nothing, really, from it.
Sounds nutless compared to the previous generation
Ive read a lot of reviews that the cf moto has engine failures at a young age. 100 hours or so.
I sure haven’t seen that and we sell more Cfmotos than anyone in the world and we handle more warranty and service work than any cfmoto shop in the world and I do not see a lot of engine failures..
we do see them., but not often at all.
I've seen multiple Cfmotos over the years with over 10,000 miles , several over 15,000 , know of a Uforce over 21,000 miles and that's factory built engine on Thomas Hughes.. Cfmoto isn't new to the engine game , over 30 years , says alot about the brand when Ktm and Yamaha are in with Cfmoto..
They've built parts for many brands for long time
So how long will it last... lol jk
