So happy to see a video from you guys. Was getting worried…..lol. To each their own but I’m not a fan of the China machines. However it looks like in 5 years they maybe #1 in atv sales. Personally I have 4 king quads that our family rides together on. They may not be the best in any one area but for me they never have any issues. Always ready to go. Can take us anywhere we point them. Just a simple, reliable, time tested machine. I sure hope Suzuki doesn’t get out like Kawasaki did with the Brute. As you guys know they are really good machines. The Can Am 700 is a nice new machine and it’s great to see them invest in a new design. Hope Yamaha and Suzuki follow suit. Thanks again for a great video guys. We appreciate you, merry Christmas!

Sold 2 out of my 12 machines last week to thin out the herd, but picked up a Warrior project yesterday to fill that empty feeling in my sheds. Did I see some non-oem lettering on that little Moto4 spelling out "panty dropper", or has my age caught up to me? Take care guys, I hope you're all riding at 70 also.

I’ve talked to lots of very happy CF owners who have years and thousands of KM on them.
The weight of them is off putting as I load into the bed of my truck. When you have two adults, plus gear, food, beer you’re getting near or over max payload of most half ton crew cab trucks. I will occasionally tow my boat too and I am at max payload when the tongue weight is added
The new CanAm is really compelling and I think would get my money if I were to buy today. I’d go 700 Pro XU

The market for ATVs is just different from what it used to be 20 years ago. UTVs have taken over. It stinks, but I get it--why try to sell a $10k ATV when people are willing to make monthly payments on a $ 35k UTV? I'll always reflect on the old Arctic Cat 500-foot shift and my 650 H1. @@HondaRancher420 The big commercial trail areas like Rush, Mine Made, Hollwerwood, and Blue Holler are all pretty much taken over by SXSs.. The trails are rideable but al lot of them will be crowded and rutted. The best ATV trails are in the Daniel Boone i.e. White Sulfur, Redbird Crest, and S tree. If you're further West then, Turkey Bay is pretty fun. If you're further East then you have can get to the Hatfield McCoy trails in WV which is some of the best riding in the Country. We go to Canmer quite a bit, it's small so it's not worth a long drive but if you're near central KY it's worth checking out. Depending on where you're at, Wayne NF in Ohio, Interlake OHV in Indiana, and Ride Royal Blue in TN are pretty fun.

I came from a Kymco MXU 500 IRS and wanted more. Especially more cylinders. I got a can am outlander 570 with that amazing 650 two cylinder Rotax engine. Unlocked it, so it got the power of the bigger chassis outlander 650. It is a fabulous machine and makes me smile every ride. So I was and still am very skeptical with can am’s move to drop the two cylinder models in the smaller displacement class. I get the price point, but on the other hand ist was their usp. Enough for me to update to can am. I guess you drove both the 2 cylinder 650 and the new 1 cylinder 700 for quite some time. Which would you consider the better engine? I feel like downgrading if I would buy a new outlander 700 engine wise. Love the new style though.

The single is a step down from the 650 twin 100%.. It was a business decision for CanAm to compete with the current market while streamlining production. Can't blame them for it, and the ne Outty's are nice.. But there intended to compete in this class. 570 and 650 twin Outlander owners will probably find these a little underwhelming power/performance-wise..

But the quality and durability of the KingQuad, and oh, I just can't get over the face on how smooth that engine runs. It's not the 722 single, mine has the 695 Single DOHC, and it's so damn smooth.

But a huge thing to mention is that the KIngQuad is a DOHC, which allows it to run much smoother, and be more powerful in both low and high end. I was looking for a kingquad but finally bought a 700 xmr because of the cheaper price. I m hard on it and it seem to be reliable... I m alway wot in the trail and the engine is starting to have a ticking noise but nothing to worry about. The thermostat is odd on those atv. It can take 15 min to get to its running temp... The front and rear drive shaft connect to the same shaft in the transmission, which cause a rotationnal force on the rubber engine mount. If you re beating on it, you can alway hear the engine stopper on top of the cylinder head hitting the frame because of that... And one last thing, normally on every atv or sxs, if you mesure the lower vs the upper a arm lenght( from bushing to ball joint) you will find the lower being longer than the upper which is normal geometry... But on the outlander 700, the upper is longer front and rear. They did that to have a better roll center in the turn and get more suspension travel by having better cv angle but the track width change is very bad because of that so when you re going fast in the bump, it s very hard to keep the atv straight.

I've driven 1st and 2nd gen 650's and 570's too. The KQ is by far sportier on the winding forestry roads. Not to mention separate front and rear brakes making a controlled drift much easier.
My current ATV is a twin with 28+ more HP than the KQ 850, and again, I'm not talking power, the KQ was easier to manage at speed through the winding roads with confidence. Because a controlled drift is always better than relying on HP the throw the back end out.

Besides the screen Suzuki still definitely outpaces it. For example, I think it’s very hard to justify no factory hitch receiver on a 2024 UTILITY atv. For me it’s definitely Kawasaki and Suzuki running the game. It would be nice to see Suzuki put one of their motorcycle vtwins in the Kingquad though 👀

@@district12tribute28 Yamaha's fit and finish still is on the same level as Polaris and Can Am. It's really the only issue, and once that gets fixed, Grizzly is best for me. The suspension is way better than KingQuad (I've never driven a Brute) and In general I feel that the Grizzly is just more well rounded. Kawasaki has always had some issues here and there. Suzuki is flawless in fit and finish and reliability, as well as the engine, but it lacks in tech, suspension, and storage. Yamaha's CVT also has park gear, which Brute Force and KingQuad lack. I'm glad to see the Brute force making big upgrades, and Suzuki has to catch up. The Main disappointment in the new Brute I'd say is not the hitch but rather that they didn't upgrade the suspension or frame much. Suzuki was similar in 2019, with just making minor suspension and frame adjustments. I'd still say Grizzly is top of its class, but it needs more power. I'd love to see a 750 Grizzly with a smoother running engine. But 700cc is still a lot and I love my 08 Grizzly and I'd buy a new one any day if I had the money. *I'd say that all three quads are absolutely awesome in their different ways and there is no objective winner. They're all equally good and the rest is just up to personal preference.* And I'd absolutely love to see an 800 KingQuad with the parallel twin from the V-strom. Also an 850 V-twin Grizzly with a wolverine engine would be cool as well.

@@FullsendOffroad Comparing 2024 models of them all I’d have KQ and Bruteforce tied and Yamaha behind both. Like I said I’m constantly around all of them except for the 2024 Kawasaki obviously but the Kingquad is definitely the most well rounded. Slightly better suspension than Bruteforce but no where near on the grizzly. The grizzly is comparable to Polaris on the new models but everywhere else it falls short besides color ways. The displays all show essentially the same information not including the new Brute. I will say the Kingquad and Kawasaki are significantly more powerful than the grizzly 50hp vs 47. The Bruteforce however despite the same horsepower laughably blows them both out of the water. Until you have ridden one it’s not really understandable, the Bruteforce feels like a 850. Overall Yamaha Suspension\handling, Kawasaki for motor and Suzuki for everything in between. I agree 100% about a vstorm engine in a Kingquad but I don’t expect it. I’m planning on switching to a 2024 Kawasaki soon as I have a 2021 Kingquad which before I had a 18 Grizzly and before that 2012 Bruteforce. They are all so near peer it’s hard to decide but I have Kawi and Zuki out ahead, the vtwin Bruteforce is nuts and the Kingquad is already so well rounded that the DOHC and better fit and finish are both more attractive than the Grizzly in today’s market. Like I said though I can’t put more of an emphasis on the Kawasaki vtwin it’s like a 392 vs a SUV

If Kawasaki drops a quality single-cylinder release/replacement for the Brute Force I will buy it. If you look at Kawasaki as a whole and you see how far they have moved away from the ATV market, it seems unlikely that this will happen. Trying to stay positive though.

Great review... HOWEVER 😂 I would argue till I'm blue in the face that the grizzlies reliability is no where close to the king quad...
The KQ is as reliable or maybe more reliable than a Honda.. this is proven over an over again. Even in any atv forum people will back my claim.
Even on TH-cam there are people switch from the troubles grizzlies to a king quad..
Not to mention the fit an finish on ANY Yamaha as of late is just trash.
I was think about picking up a new can am Pro XU HD7 to try out but I'm seeing lots of gremlins ...
IMHO the king will always be king Even though it's long in the tooth..but there's a reason..don't fix something that isn't broke..plus I love the looks of a KQ

I'm not sure either.. I thought it was an older motorcycle engine import tax on imports over 750cc.. That was Regan Era tariff that Harley Davidson petitioned for.. But Argo and CFMOTO figured it out so.. 🤷‍♂️
