In today's Video: I needed a small piece of visually textured cloth for my Inspiration Patch that I created in my Stitch-A-Long recently. Quick thinking and a little Sludge and I had what I needed. Hope you give it a try. It's really great if you need a small piece of cloth FAST.

Genius idea. Today's quote: "Dont wait for people to be kind, show them how. Unknown. Huge hugs. Namesta 🐞🐞🐞
Love this one Lala! ❤️
I’ve coffee dyed paper, but now you’ve inspired me to do up some muslin that I have for my next slow stitch project
Make sure your coffee is like a syrup, so you have to use instant. I've been doing it all week! and leave it in the sun to dry then rinse it. Have fun! ❤️
Absolutely love how the circles faded a bit with the wash so they’re more abstract! Great fun!😊❤
I am loving this cloth! Have been using it every day in one thing or another! ❤️
I do a similar coffee drizzle method - I love it coz it's nice and easy!! I'm loving the results with rusty washers!! I've got a rusty metal chair which will be perfect for doing this 😘 Thanks so much for sharing ❤❤❤
You are so welcome! ❤️
How cool I love this and all the ideas to use this. Thank you for sharing ❤
You are welcome! 💜
This is great Jeri… so useful to have some techniques I can do quite speedily between other things so as always thankyou 🧡xxx
You are so welcome! ❤️
Thank you, Jeri! I am going to try this fun idea.
I'm so glad! It's my go to when I don't have much time. ❤️
I've just been inspired to use all those small rusted metal bits (gears, cogs, bolts, washers etc.) that Ive been saving, that have been salvaged from around the farm! 😊
Go for it! It's QUICK good fun and if you don't like it, go over it with something. ❤️
Love it!! The sun is shining here and I am going to try it right now!
Good!!! ❤️❤️❤️
This is so cool!! I'll have to try it!! It's so hot out already that it won't take long to dry!! lol
The sun really does the trick! It's baked in. I imagine an iron would do something similar, set the color I mean. ❤️
This is so cool! I've done it before with black tea, but the colors from the coffee are so good. I may have to go see if the hubs has already cleaned out the French press...
It only works with instant, if that's what you have in your press you're golden! It's because it melts down, not like ground coffee which does not. ❤️
@@JeriBellini yeah, it wasn't very successful with the used grounds, but I got resourceful and used some black tea bags and my rusty bits and got some fun prints. I remembered something from ecoprinting about adding vinegar to make the iron react with the tea, so I splashed some over a stack of wet fabric scrap pieces in an old tray threw the tea bags on top and set the rusty stuff on top of that. I got some clear prints on the top pieces and some nice moody colors on the pieces on the bottom. And I didn't have to heat anything! This could get addictive!
Fantastic idea that I am going to try. Thank you.
Wonderful! 💜💜💜
Jeri you are just a blessing! Thank you for this teaching, I am definitely going to play with some cloth and coffee! Easy! You look good and take care, keep moving with much love from across the pond❣️
Thank you! Have fun! ❤️❤️❤️
Lovely - Thank you
You are so welcome! ❤️
Fun! Thanks ❤
You are so welcome! ❤️
Fabulous ❤
Right?! I don't know why I never shared this before, I've been doing it for years! LOL ❤️
And it was perfect timing because I have just recorded my Monday video as I am going away for a week and I have sent people to watch this 😁 so thank you ❤️
I ice dye and it is a lot of work and hard on my arthritic fingers. I will give it a go for sure. Thanks for the inspiration, x's lj
I've never tried ice dying.... but my friend has and loves it. Find something else that doesnt hurt your hands and just keep moving! ❤️ Sending love
@@JeriBellini But I am sort of addicted to the organic designs it creates and I have done 5 night gowns, several shirts, one pair of pants...etc. See I told you I am addicted to the results. No more tie dye for this aging lady! Maybe there's no help for me lol 🤣
Oh my, Jeri. These are great. 💖💖💖
Seriously easy! Enjoy! ❤️
Love this! Thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome! ❤️❤️❤️
Great way to age white linen & add texture. Thank you for sharing. 😊
You are so welcome! I love easy things! ❤️
Very cool. I don’t have rusty things but will try this anyway. I have coffee dyed cheesecloth before and love the look.
You don't need the rusty bits, I love it without, just wanted to show another option. Have fun, I know you will get great cloth to use in your sewing projects! ❤️
Thanks for the tip❣️
Any time! ❤️
Beautiful ❤️
Thank you! 😊 ❤️
Great tip! I’ve just saved the video and definitely going to try it, maybe in the next few days, because we’re having sunny weather. Thanks ♥️💙🤎🧡💜💛❤️🩷🩵💚🤍🤗🤗🤗
Have fun! You will love how easy it is! ❤️
Very cool 🤍🤍🤍
Thank you! ❤️
Those are lovely Jeri! And the struggle is real with the critters wanted to dig in the flower pots. In my case, it's chipmunks.
I think I figured out a solution, FINALLY. Painted rocks and shells seem to be doing the trick! ❤️
Do you put them in the pots along with the plants?
@@cathywhitney8194 I put them on top of whatever dirt is showing, the rain/water can still get to the roots but the animals cant. It's worked great so far! ❤
Thanks Jeri. Adding this to the never ending list!! LOL ❤
It's really so simple, I made those 2 pieces while my lunch was heating! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ It's so good to see you here!
awesome...tfs
Thanks for watching! ❤️
Thank you for this. Would this work equally well with 100% cotton fabric?
Yes, absolutely! ❤️
