I have Eero alarm 13 piece kit, ring Doorbell Pro 2, 2 Ring floodlight plus cams, ring floodlight Pro wired , 4 Ring Stick up cams 2 battery 2 wired, and an indoor cam for garage. love em so far
We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version th-cam.com/users/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.
My existing power source is 12" high off my deck, which is another 3" off the ground level. Is this too high to function properly? Your thoughts. Thanks
You never showed us how you mounted the flood light to your existing box. The mounting box doesn't have a place for the one center hole the ring fixture comes with.
didnt know the flootlight cam wired pro works with solar panel,. do we have to purchase the solar panel separately,? the links u provided is only taking to Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro which doesnt come with solar panel. also, would this came also have battery?
Do not buy the Video Doorbell with battery. I have the Video Doorbell 2 and it is hardwired. During cold days the battery will not charge and you will not have access to the camera. Buy the Pro which does not have a battery.
I don't like that the lights are not replaceable on these flood lights. If an LED malfunctions the whole unit is junk. That's one expensive light bulb.

Can you use the solar panel for the front floodlight camera?

Two questions about the floodlight: How bright is it compared with your older one? How far does the motion detection actually work?

So do I need to buy the bridge also with it? I have 2 ring doorbells looking to purchase the floodlight and solar panel.
Can you hook up a motion detector light and the ring camera both to the same solar panel… Is that an option

When hooking up the solar to stick up cam is there anything in the settings I need to do or or is it ready to go once I plug the solar panel
When you plug in the solar panel the camera settings will configure automatically.

It’s wired. You don’t need a solar panel. Solar panels are only for wireless battery cams
How would you compare it versus the Eufy that you reviewed?
That eufy software was difficult to use on Android. Ring is easier to use.
