That is definitely an awesome find that you have there. My father had a '70s 2500 suburban 454 that was the camping and family machine to do anything that you can possibly want. I think the better ride in handling come from not just the heavier axles but you also have heavier rated springs shocks and sway bars for the heavier weight rating. It doesn't end up being rough it just ends up being firm and flat handling. I would love to have one like this. Thank you for sharing

I have a 1985 GMC SIERRA CLASSIC C15 SUBURBAN I'm restoring I've redid the complete suspension and air conditioning all window seals and gaskets I put a abs headliner yours is quiet so I know mines gonna be also with all new seals and refurbished vent windows and new door seals.
