I love L'Heure Bleue too but it's definitely not something that most people will appreciate now, so it's something that I only wear for myself at home. You're making me realize I have a lot of Guerlain, but there's so much I want to smell that I don't have! I love the Shalimar Souffle line. I recommend them. I have all except the orange. I also love the L'Instant Magic- it's soft almondy. I have worn the Magic version a lot. I wear Samsara sometimes this time of year. I have worn Insolence edp for years in Spring/Summer, as well as Terracotta. Year round I wear Mon Guerlain. I'm wearing Petite Robe Noir Black Perfecto this time of year, too. I'm surprised you don't have the Black Perfecto since you love leather, unless it is the same as the Florale?- I'm not sure, but mine is just Black Perfecto. I have had some Aqua Allegorias over the years but I only have 2 now, I mainly use Limon Verde as room freshener because it don't last on me. I have Winter Delices which smells like Christmas so I'm wearing it some now. Funny, I didn't get much iris out of L'Heure Blue, so I got rid of mine. Anyway, I would recomment the L'Instant Magic.
The black perfecto florale has a strong leather note. I heard from others that's it's either the same or very similar to black perfecto so I don't know that it's worth having both but if I see black perfecto for cheap I'll definitely get it. I only had mini set of Aqua Allegoria before, but I am totally hooked and fascinated by this classy heritage brand now, and hoping to pick up a couple of their perfumes in the near future. I am a huge fan of guerlain perfumes. Terracotta is on my wish list! I own several aqua allegoria perfumes including: pear granita, bergamot Calabrian, jasmine, mandarin basilic,, nerolia Blanca, and paplelune . I love them all. On me, jasmina and nerolia are very long lasting, and most appropriate for fall winter seasons. I hope to acquire teazurra someday - hard to find but I’m looking everywhere! Great video!
I will tell you Hawaii for sure smells like Terracotta Le Parfum. I’m going back there in January and I got this perfume just for that vacation because it reminds me of the island. Plumeria flowers are everywhere and it smells heavenly ❤️
Wow, you have a great Guerlain collection! I should have at least one for men from that house. Those refill bottles are a great idea. I travel a lot for work (Pre C-19) I bring at least 7 re-fillable 5ml or 10ml mini atomizers that you refill like putting butane in a lighter. That way I stay under the 1000ML Limit for my carry-on.

L’instant was a hot seller years ago when I worked my first job in a perfume store. I haven’t smelled it in ages and just bought a vintage bottle on eBay, I hope I still love it now that I feel old enough to wear it!
I just found a full 100ml bottle of terracotta on kijiji for $50!! I actually thought of you as I was buying it because you always find the sweet deals!!! 😜. Anyway, I love it and am so excited I found it for such a great price!!!
Idea for next purchase - L'Homme Ideal cologne! Love that one, it makes me happy every time I smell it. For me unisex fragrance, sadly discontinued :( so I had to buy backup bottles of course :)))) From Aqua Allegoria line so much good ones, maybe Pera Granita because you love pear, and Pamplelune...this two are safe blind buys in my opinion. I was surprised you didn't have it in your collection Samsara because I was hoping to hear your opinion of that one especially because it has been reformulated, but still supposedly good. I was so happy to see L'Homme Ideal EDP in your collection! I don't know what's with men perfumes lately, but I'm wearing them more and more...and i'm not complaining :)))) Great video as always Jana
My Guerlain Coquin kicked off my love of Guerlain. I'm obsessed with my Tonka Imperiale and think it's sweeter than the Spirituese double vanille that everyone raves about. I'm wearing L'Instant Magic today; it's so comforting and yes it smells like a baby, maybe like that Baby Magic lotion. I'm trying to stop buying perfumes but I will keep going with my Guerlain collection next year because I love most of them and have so many why not keep going. You have a great collection!😍
I fell in love with the name and story of L'Heure Bleue before I ever smelled it or even knew much about perfume at all. After smelling it, I still love the idea of it, but I struggle to wear it in real life. I agree with you that it's nice to wear at home. I'm a little scared to wear it in public. Not sure if I can pull it off properly. But I now own both the EDT and EDP! I'm no expert but to me the EDP is warmer and spicier. I got a 2.5 ounce bottle of the EDP on FragranceNet on sale for $49 although they are sold out at the moment. As another option, from what I've read, L'Heure De Nuit is meant to be the modern reinterpretation to mark the 100th anniversary (1912-2012), but it's only available at Guerlain boutiques in Paris. Other than the Guerlain website, most of what I've learned is from either Persolaise or Bois de Jasmin, both excellent reviewers/writers/bloggers. Hope that helps. Can't wait to see what Guerlain you get next! I'm enjoying your channel!
Guerlain Souffle is amazing, for me smells more interesting and rich than souffle de lumiere. L'heure bleu is perfect for wearing it on summer evenings in this magical twiglight hour "blue hour":))) and Gloria Vanderbield original by Sophia Groisman smells very much close to it
I just discovered Neroli Outrenoir, omg I got addicted to it. It's super citric and fresh at the beginning but then, after 1-2 hours it gets some deep, sexy notes on my skin.
I like Limon Verde the most from the Aqua Allegorias. It’s a fantastic lime scent that’s basically a Caipirinha in a bottle. So refreshing in summer! I also love Samsara, it’s a beautiful Oriental that came out in 1989. It doesn’t smell old fashioned to me just very classy.
I live on an island in Mediterranean full of jasmine, gardenia, orange blossom flowers. Terracotta smells just like that. When I wear it here you can't know if it's me or my surroundings.😂I love it, though.
I own two of the Aqua Allegoria, Flora Cheryssia and Lemon Verde. I wear them when I stay at home.. Flora Cheryssia is my favourite, it’s a light flower with a touch of citrus, whereas the lemon note in Lemon Verde is very prominent, but then dries down to a light coconut. I will buy Rosa Rossa next, I tried it in Sephora and loved it.
What?? Guerlain has the refill bottles? Never knew this. I don't have many from them (only three so far) but I get them in tester bottles (exactly the same minus the box, box is always plain and can get them much lower but the refills sounds amazing especially when you really love the scent and are sure you will finish it up). I just tried the L'instant Magic and it is beautiful, can't wait to find it online and buy it. P.S. I also had the Yves Rocher Monoi oil and to me it smells very similar to the D&G The One Essence. I wore the combination of this fragrance and oil this past vacation... such lovely memories
@@TheScented I think you will really like it but I warn you that it doesn't last. I carry a little travel size bottle with me and retouch it when it is starting to wear off, because I love the scent I don't mind it

I have L'heure Bleue EDP. It's great for fall and winter. It took me a while to understand it. The sweetness is from Tuberose and Jasmine other flowers keep it powdery. I don't feel it is melancholic. But I don't feel like wearing it outside home much. Especially because it is a heavy floral scent.
@@TheScented edt if you wanted lighter and citrusy, edp if you want the reference chypre (or extrait if you can find it). I would recommend l’apres l’ondee too and l’heure bleu edp, its stronger and a bit less miserable than the edt :).They are all kind of old fashioned though if you don’t mind that.

I picked up Mon Guerlain EDP on your recommendation. Then I added Mon Guerlain Sparking Bouquet (even though you don’t like it :( ) and Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic. I think I’m going to pick up the Mon Guerlain Bloom of Rose! I’m also very curious about Shalimar Parfum (extrait) due to all the notes that seem up my alley, but your comment about it smelling like bug spray scares me. I’m going to pick up a sample to see if it will work for me.
I love Mitsouko and I think you should try it if you like peaches. It is very realistic and fresh, as if you're in the field of peach trees in the chilly morning and it rained all night and that field is near forest and smell of that green wood and moss is combined. I don't know, I love to wear it when it rains, any time of year, and it's special every time. I love it.

Guerlain is a house that has fragrances for days. It's hard to go wrong with them. I own several of their masculine marketed offerings. I appreciate this review because I'm not to familiar with their female marketed fragrances.
@@TheScented Habit Rouge is nice, I own it. It has Lavander, Vanilla, Rose, and citrus in the opening. I would also suggest Heritage EDT and L'Instant De Guerlain. I'm also a fan of the L'Homme Ideal line. I own the Cologne, EDP, L'intense, & Extreme. Like I said, Guerlain has fragrances for days you can't go wrong. I want to wish you the best for the holidays, see you in the next video. ✌🏽
Idylle and Shalimar Original in your collection are the best ones. I have been using guerlain parfumes for 10 years. they changed Idylle packaging. How did you manage to get the older one? Old packaging was more classy. Did you try Cuir Intense, ENCENS MYTHIQUE, MUSC Noble? If not try them. You might like
Mentafolia, Pampelune, Anisia Bella, Limon Verde, many of Allegoria are very interesting, they vary how long they last with skin and layering with lotion, very summer like.

That is the one u definitely need to buy next. Scratch anything else I just told you about anything, if you get anything out of this comment, go buy shalimar soufflé intense. It’s like less than 40 bucks, and it smells like Dior addict mixed with shalimar edt mixed with lemon pound cake... you need it.... it’s perfection. It’s not as sparkling as the one you have, it’s deeper and like the vanilla in addict is the one in that. You don’t like vanilla so Idk 🤷♀️ if you even like that vibe but I love it, it is my go to Christmas scent when I am around other humans. So good. And lasts too. I have not tried the original soufflé but don’t risk it, get the intense.

For the La Petite Robe Noire Eau Fraiche is that the Ma Robe Petales? It has the same name, but includes that last part & it is also green in color. I got a decant of the Bloom of Rose and I love it. I was scared of it because I normally do not like a “mature rose”, but that one is really nice. I want a big bottle of it.
Just received my EDT Guerlain Bloom of Rose yesterday and it’s amazing! Since you the EDP is sweeter now I want that as well. Is it significantly sweeter than the EDT ? Thanks 💞There was nothing special around the regular version but Rose is amazing

My favourites are Champs Elysees, Samsara, Insolence, Météorites, Shalimar Souffle Intense. And Les Absolus d'Orient line is amazing in general

I have L'heure Bleue EDP. It's great for fall and winter. It took me a while to understand it. The sweetness is from Tuberose and Jasmine other flowers keep it powdery.
I don't feel it is melancholic. But I don't feel like wearing it outside home much. Especially because it is a heavy floral scent.
Get a mitsuko, a beautiful chypre fragrance, I got it recently and I am so glad I did.

@@TheScented edt if you wanted lighter and citrusy, edp if you want the reference chypre (or extrait if you can find it). I would recommend l’apres l’ondee too and l’heure bleu edp, its stronger and a bit less miserable than the edt :).They are all kind of old fashioned though if you don’t mind that.

I picked up Mon Guerlain EDP on your recommendation. Then I added Mon Guerlain Sparking Bouquet (even though you don’t like it :( ) and Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic. I think I’m going to pick up the Mon Guerlain Bloom of Rose! I’m also very curious about Shalimar Parfum (extrait) due to all the notes that seem up my alley, but your comment about it smelling like bug spray scares me. I’m going to pick up a sample to see if it will work for me.

I love Mitsouko and I think you should try it if you like peaches. It is very realistic and fresh, as if you're in the field of peach trees in the chilly morning and it rained all night and that field is near forest and smell of that green wood and moss is combined. I don't know, I love to wear it when it rains, any time of year, and it's special every time. I love it.

Shalimar Souffle doesn’t smell like Soufflé :) it smells like the real vanilla pod with lots of lemon and a hint of the og shalimar.

Guerlain is a house that has fragrances for days. It's hard to go wrong with them. I own several of their masculine marketed offerings. I appreciate this review because I'm not to familiar with their female marketed fragrances.

@@TheScented Habit Rouge is nice, I own it. It has Lavander, Vanilla, Rose, and citrus in the opening. I would also suggest Heritage EDT and L'Instant De Guerlain. I'm also a fan of the L'Homme Ideal line. I own the Cologne, EDP, L'intense, & Extreme. Like I said, Guerlain has fragrances for days you can't go wrong. I want to wish you the best for the holidays, see you in the next video. ✌🏽

Idylle and Shalimar Original in your collection are the best ones. I have been using guerlain parfumes for 10 years. they changed Idylle packaging. How did you manage to get the older one? Old packaging was more classy.
Did you try Cuir Intense, ENCENS MYTHIQUE, MUSC Noble? If not try them. You might like
Mentafolia, Pampelune, Anisia Bella, Limon Verde, many of Allegoria are very interesting, they vary how long they last with skin and layering with lotion, very summer like.

That is the one u definitely need to buy next. Scratch anything else I just told you about anything, if you get anything out of this comment, go buy shalimar soufflé intense. It’s like less than 40 bucks, and it smells like Dior addict mixed with shalimar edt mixed with lemon pound cake... you need it.... it’s perfection. It’s not as sparkling as the one you have, it’s deeper and like the vanilla in addict is the one in that. You don’t like vanilla so Idk 🤷♀️ if you even like that vibe but I love it, it is my go to Christmas scent when I am around other humans. So good. And lasts too. I have not tried the original soufflé but don’t risk it, get the intense.

I didn’t like the original Shalimar either. It smelt like ink to me. Soufflé intense is my favourite among Shalimars. Not many people talks about it.

For the La Petite Robe Noire Eau Fraiche is that the Ma Robe Petales? It has the same name, but includes that last part & it is also green in color. I got a decant of the Bloom of Rose and I love it. I was scared of it because I normally do not like a “mature rose”, but that one is really nice. I want a big bottle of it.

Just received my EDT Guerlain Bloom of Rose yesterday and it’s amazing! Since you the EDP is sweeter now I want that as well. Is it significantly sweeter than the EDT ? Thanks 💞There was nothing special around the regular version but Rose is amazing

The edp is noticeably sweeter but not super sweet, the rose note is more sweet and rich whereas the EDT is a fresher clean rose imo
