- Today, I'm sharing what perfumes I would keep if I could only have 10 fragrances for life! This challenge is a lot harder than you might think because you have to take into consideration every scenario and season! Let's not insult grandmothers any more. Old women are something we should admire and respect. Our masculine dominant society makes us think that only young and beautiful women are acceptable. And let's face it the vast majority of us are neither of those. My grandmother smells fresh and clean. She is smart, educated, gentle and fierce.
I work with seniors and most actually wear little to no fragrance. I have seen Chanel, bath and body works, Dior, YSL, etc on their counters. I think the one or two that overdoes it gives the rest a bad rap. Young people overdo it too sometimes to be honest. I don't mean like 10 sprays of a light scent. I mean like 80 sprays. Watch how I overspray my fragrance on TH-cam to see what I mean.
Agree, i wonder why all these fragrance review compares the musky smell to our granny. My granny doesnt have smell at all since we were poor and she doesnt have money to buy even a cologne, but i know she is clean and fresh too

She just meant an outdated smell, that's all. People won't disrespect the elderly just for a fragrance, seriously.
We all have grandmas and no one insults them, Chanel does smell like this heavy grandma smell and doesn’t mean I have to like it. Maybe it’s time to buy your grandma modern smell.
So glad to see D&G The One on this list! This was my wedding fragrance and I still love this scent.

I got married in 1993 and I wore Beautiful by Estee Lauder. It is still my favorite floral perfumes, but I don't wear it that often these days. You look lovely!!...and great choices of fragrances!

I wore coco noir to my grandfather's, and then my mothers funeral 🖤 reminds me of them, but in a good way, even though I wore it on a bad day.

Absolutely Blooming is gorgeous and it's my most complimented fragrance. I have about 200 different perfumes or EDP's. 100 of them are samples, 25 are 30ml and 75 full size (100 ml).

Top 10 is so hard and my choices change from a couple months ago...As of right now my top 10 are:

2. Chanel Coco Mademoiselle
3. Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb
4. MFK Baccarat Rouge 540
5. YSL Libre (I love both the original and intense version equally)
6. Burberry Brit ( A favorite find of mine for this year)
7. Carolina Herrera Good Girl Legere
8. Valentino Donna Born in Roma
9. Kilian Rolling in Love
10. Olympea (this one was the hardest; I also really love Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme)
*I feel like as I discover new fragrances my list may change BUT these fragrances will ALWAYS be in my collection..Always!*

I got the feminine set from Parfums de Marly. Meliora is kinda becoming my favorite. I also love Baccarat Rouge.

I bought Aventus for her and I love the smell but it is really unisex- too woody for me and my fiancé thought it's for men😬Hahaha he too tells me I smell amazing every time I wear Mon Guerlain apparently men really love this fragrance, and the same with D&G l'impératrice and Allure Chanel-which for me is the best women fragrance of all times. Thanks for the video😁

I love Gardenia , Une Fleur De Chanel and No. 5 for memories of my mother. It would be hard to choose ten, so I applaud you! Fracas is another among my faves . Of course I could go on and on.

I wore Robert Piguet Fracas for my first wedding in Honolulu up on Mount Tantalus overlooking the most beautiful city in the world. Gardenia was my second wedding scent as well. I was married out in Montauk in July at the Lighthouse. That is the best time out there. It was the perfect scent for a perfect day!

Your picks are incredible I really like the Air Di Gioia. Chanel is one of my favourite houses I have 4. Unfortunately I won’t ever buy Tom Ford or Francis Kurkdjian fragrances as they are way out of my budget and especially here in Canada. I will always look for dupes.

I own the one, mon guerlain and l'imperatrice and I love them. Sll so beautiful. I was on the fence about guerlain fragrances because I smelled shalimar and gagged 😄. But i'm glad I bought mon guerlain. I want to try the intense version. Top ten: love dont be shy, the one, Soleil blanc, vanille insensee, paris by ysl, mon paris by ysl, Prada amber pour homme, prada candy kiss, prada night, Burberry Her intense.
Great video! I feel my perfume collection is a study of Chanel I need to experiment with other brands too :) I have one from Dior i really like the Miss Dior Bouquet if i recall its so nice light and spring/summer perfume :)

Hi Erin, my top ten list of fragrances are: Angel ( the original ), Bottega Venetta, Oud Bouquet, Coco, Aqua de Gioa, Flowerbomb, Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge and Noir por Femme, Black Opium, and Casual. Casual comes close to what I used to wear in high school so long ago, which was Love’s Musky Jasmin Flower.
My all time favorite is Coco Noir too.. so classic and feminine ..
I love your perfume vids; I have had so much inspo for my own collection by watching you, as I find your nose and mine are similar. I have not been let down! Thank you for posting these! I now own many of the top ten you listed, and I absolutely love them.
Have you ever thought about doing a comparison video of genuine fragrances to the brands that are "inspired" by the fragrance? I am curious on your take. For example: the company Dossier lays claim that some of their scents are similar, if not spot on to : Coco Mademoiselle, Lost Cherry, Baccarat 540. If you are willing to put them to the test, I would LOVE to hear your opinions!

My favorite fragrance is Shalimar. It’t sweet, warm and sensual. I’ve worn it for over 40 years and still love it.

Mon Guerlain Intense is on my list, likely in the next week or so along with a repurchase of Dior J'adore Absolu EdP (tuberose scent). I'll use my 20% off at Ulta for those. Over the weekend, I purchased Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle L'Eau Previee Eau Pour la Nuit spray, as well as Chanel No 5 body cream. Macy's is having a 15% off in beauty/fragrances and it includes Chanel products (in store only for Chanel). The last Sephora sale is purchased Chanel No 5 Parfum (extract). I've already goofed up opening the bottle, now I have to be careful each time. The current Sephora $25 off for Rouge members, I will used it for Chanel No 5 Eau Premiere Eau de Parfum. I'm one that loves fragrances too.

I love all the fragrances on your list! I also love fruity-florals, as well as gourmands. Delina and Delina Exclusif are two of my favorites. I tend to wear Delina in Spring/Summer and Delina Exclusif in Autumn/Winter. I actually like the original Mon Guerlain EDP better than the Intense (but, I do love the Intense too), and I really don't care for the EDT that much, I'm not sure why. I have been through at least three big bottles of the EDP since it's been released! I love to wear it to bed - maybe it's the lavender/vanilla I find soothing and easy to wear? You are so delightful. I enjoy your videos of do much. I just think you are underrated. You ought to have a gazillion subscribers. Maybe if you do a Christmas collab with a male Fragrance TH-camr, and/or Demi Rowling. You are plenty knowledgeable to be up against anyone. Or try some makeup collabs with someone like Hot and Flashy, or Michelle Wang again. Or be the female Fragrance advisor to Real Men, Real Style, or Dominique Sachse. You really deserve it.

Our fragrances from the 1970"s onward are still popular because they still work today and never boring. Do you know the name of a very intense perfume that is a patuculi inscent smell popular in the late 60"s- early 70"s?

I've worn Chanel Allure forever, and my most recent add is By Kilian Angel's Share and Noir Phantom. My lounge around the house favorite is Maison Margiela By the Fireplace.
I also wear Allure in spring and summer and Allure Sensuelle in autumn and winter. I want to try CoCo Mademoiselle and Coco Noir.

I know this surprised people. but Baccarat 350 does not last on me. I know . Most people are so surprised but it just goes away as though I sprayed nothing. I did see some complaints about that same issue online somewhere.

I’m a guy and wear BR540, it develops later in the evening into the most seductive and intriguing scent. Then for daily use also MFK Aqua Universalis, since I just moved to Miami, is more suited for the weather.

Hi...I also love Coco noir..Samsara and of course Coromandel. I Love rich scents.
My tops are: Alien, Mon Paris, Bright Crystal and Nest Indigo. If you haven’t tried the Nest fragrances you should get the sampler .They are so long lasting and beautiful bottle/scents.
If you like the Nest fragrances you will probably like Omni Coal by Bvlgari.
You should try Estée Lauder private collection Gardenia tuberose. It’s class in a bottle! A beautiful fragrance that I don’t hear anyone talk about. It’s beautiful

I am using L'imperatrice. Getting a second bottle. Love the pink peppercorn in it. Warm fresh elegant fruity floral. Very good. The only thing is it doesn't last very long. After 3 hours it becomes a skin scent. I wish they have an EDP.

Great vid.. just one question .. what did Chanel do to madamoiselle?? I even purchased it in France and it’s still different than before and doesn’t last at all. I’m so sad they changed it. It was my signature fragrance:(
I would like to know if D&G 3 l'imperatrice edt lasts, and if it is wearable during the winter.
