I think the property age of cosmetic surgery should be when your body is fully developed into It's adult stage of life and I think that's in your mid-twenties. Probably not a popular opinion. But you see, all these people get these drastic surgeries on their bodies that aren't fully developed and then regret it because they're like I might have gotten these traits if I just waited.
16:22 the lip lift smile makes her look like she is smiling through pain.😮 My lips are like hers in that they are not thin but tuck in when i smile. I was thinking of lip filler because i was insecure about it but not anymore. omg thank you B.
You have no idea how much I needed this! I was having a shitty day at work (I’m a nurse) and I am always looking forward to your videos ❤ you make my day and I have something to look forward to :)
honestly idk how people willingly go through doing things like this. i mean to each their own but just the thought of having a needle anywhere near my face scares me😭
As a person that has had a lip flip, its literally not as dramatic as people make it seem and it literally does not much for many people because its a very small change that not many notice.
I do the lip flip, primarily because the muscle pulls unevenly on my lower lip. The only difference it makes for me is my lips are even. Get a professional's opinion before going for it, definitely isnt just a filler alternative.
The only time I’ve thought about my philtrum was when I was getting it pierced….I didn’t know people had “philtrum preferences” …I guess my preference was bedazzling mine?
No kidding 😩 from forehead filler to smile elongation to browbone shaving it’s insane how people are morphing the every single detail about their appearance
I want your lips!! They gorgeous! Sadly no amount of surgery will achieve that for me 😢 and I’m 47 and the only person will see it is my family, my Dr, my local Pharmacy staff and the local grocery store. I need to get out more! Lol
as a white woman, i got thin ass lips 😂 i used to want filler sooo bad and wanted huge lips. i’m glad i wasn’t able to get any, it’s better to just try to love yourself first
Ok I don't really know anything about lip flips, but as a person who had a tendency to curl my upper lip when I smiled I think you can train yourself out of it tbh. I used to not be able to smile without "doing the weird lip thing" as my mom called it😂 but after years of consciously relaxing and uncurling my lip I now smile with my whole upper lip visible. It just took some focus and practice. It might be worth a try before turning to cosmetic injections. You can retrain your muscles.
I got my wisdom teeth out in May, all four at once. I look like a chipmunk for WEEKS! My lower left side was still swollen after a couple of weeks and it hurt when I chewed, so I went back to the surgeon and they pulled out a PIECE OF MY JAW BONE that came loose after my surgery! The relief was instantaneous, tho. The liquid and soft food diet was rough as a chip enjoyer, and cinnamon applesauce became my main food for a while 😭 Also, did you get that prescription mouthwash to irrigate the sockets with those weird curved syringes? That stuff tasted nasty lol
Damn my gums show when i smile. I have semi full lips. More so of a pouty mouth. I do dislike when they show but I’m damn sure not embarrassing myself getting a lip filler
You can research every medical journal in existence, but if they hit a nerve or you have a bad reaction, you could potentially be disfigured for life! I had Botox once in my life (like 25 years ago) & it was a nightmare! I had clefts between my eyebrows due to chronic pain & got botox for a birthday "gift." A lump the size of half a walnut swelled up overnight & it took weeks & weeks to slowly shrink & finally, eventually go back to normal. I was devastated and didn't want to be seen by anyone! NEVER again, will I go anywhere near Botox! 💜🙏💜
I had a disappearing top lip when I smiled as a child. Now I'm 30 and it doesn't do that anymore. Why? Bc your muscles there weaken with age, your philtrum gets longer as you age. So I wonder how this will look in 20-30 years. Y'all gonna have to get lip lifts to fix the "fix" 🙄
With people changing every detail of their face, their kids are going to be insanely insecure 😩 especially with it all being purely for cosmetic reasons
legally 18, lowest 25, realistically 30. At 18 you think everything is wrong with you... (even without the net). At 25 you at least have the money and will think about things. At 30 you have seen your own face for long enough to actually see it change over time and have come to terms with the fact change will happen.
this one i’ve had done! everyone is right, it did nothing special for me at all and the pain was very bad!! it doesn’t feel right to look different, i don’t know how many mls i got but it was enough to make it harder and heavier to talk for months on. it felt like something was wrong with me, waste of 70$
Is it really temporary, though? We thought filler was temporary until we learnt it just migrated throughout the body. Has their been enough study on this? Genuine question, by the way, no hate.
It’s amazing how many people you have shown on your channel who do zero research of any kind… then have issues with their results and go on TikTok to complain about it 😂 is being an adult no longer a thing? Just wondering
I know you're Christian but what denomination? I'm assuming catholic but I was just curious (I'm LDS, BTW. And yes, we are Christian. We still believe in the Bible as well as in Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the Holy Ghost. The only difference is that we believe they're separate beings. I'm not trying to push my religion on anyone but if you have any questions on my religion lmk and I can try to answer as well as direct you to better sources.) Sorry that this was long and have a great day if you're reading this! ❤️
I have a gummy smile due to my open skeletal bite that requires jaw surgery to fix. It affects my chewing, sleep, breathing etc...but braces helps a lott. I'm on my 2nd braces round and the Dentists all tell me that it's a temporary fix because the Jaw deformity will keep making my teeth shift even with retainers. That I'll just keep get braces forever because my damn jaw needs to be fixed for it to _actually_ be solved. But I'm so scared of procedures, I can't understand these girls who go with it like it's second nature to them even when they don't actually need it at all!
It’s common sense a lip flip would be for specific people lmao wth . So no. Not everyone is a good candidate. Experts literally said that in this video lmao
25:29 “nobody warned me of this”….. that Botox paralyzes muscles? It feels like she did absolutely no research into the procedure before getting it done, and either didn’t listen to who did the procedure or chose poorly because you are supposed to be told the side effects and risks every single time you’re injected by a medical professional
What is this..... Most cosmetic surgery is unnecessary. And these changes in the video I would not have even noticed if I was faced with the person. But I'm also a person who wouldn't care about something so insignificant in someone's face . ((Perhaps people need to stop nit-picking themselves in the mirror for so long that they FIND things to be wrong. ))
Y'all with these cosmetic procedures and trying to stay on trend, none of ya knew about a "lip flip" last year and Y'all survived 😂😂 I'm 56 and NEVER EVER have I had a procedure nor would I, I love myself UNCONDITIONALLY...no conditions, every wrinkle, Grey hair, crinkle, God made me and he doesn't make mistakes.. I use soap and water, lotion and treat my face properly....this is sad and pathetic but Y'all making those cosmetic surgeons pockets bigger...💰💰💰😂😂😂
At what age do you think it’s appropriate for someone to get cosmetic surgery?
Over 18 with informed consent
Above 25 years old 😅
Over 21 not 18 because how r u 18 and can do all these things to ur face but u can't drink achool make it make sense

After age 30, unless it's a necessary surgery.
I have very thin lips - practically no top lip. I've lived with it for nearly 70 years and it hasn't hampered my life in any way.
Congrats 🤣
You are the hardest working woman on TH-cam, Busiswa. Happy Friday!
Aww, thanks. About your username, do you have a farm? 👀
@@BusiswaGI hope it's on a mountain! 🤨

under 1 day gang👇 I'm under minute
under 1 hour
I’m a hour in 😬
Ayyyyyeee
2 hours for me
4 hours ❤❤
You have no idea how much I needed this! I was having a shitty day at work (I’m a nurse) and I am always looking forward to your videos ❤ you make my day and I have something to look forward to :)
Aww thank you 🙏. And also, thank you for your service ❤️
I swear people look for things to be insecure about!
honestly idk how people willingly go through doing things like this. i mean to each their own but just the thought of having a needle anywhere near my face scares me😭

I personally think a top lip that curls when you smile is very cute! I think it gives the person a lot of personality
I do the lip flip, primarily because the muscle pulls unevenly on my lower lip. The only difference it makes for me is my lips are even. Get a professional's opinion before going for it, definitely isnt just a filler alternative.
Thank you *Busiswa* for another excellent, educational video. I had no idea how many people are changing their faces in so many ways!
Oh a surgery you could cover in the future is getting a panus removal! Soon as I get done losing my extra lbs gone, I will definitely get one.
The only time I’ve thought about my philtrum was when I was getting it pierced….I didn’t know people had “philtrum preferences” …I guess my preference was bedazzling mine?
Priorities 😌
waiting for tiktok to give us lip flip techs
Noooo😂😂
Never have i ever noticed or cared how much of a distance is between my nose and lip. Like whattt? Lol
RIGHT!
Donna Trana, beautiful, gorgeous girl. Def didn’t need that lip flip. Please don’t let the internet influence you, especially when regarding beauty!!
People have literally lost their mind like really … 0:50
I’ve been early everyday for this week I love your videos and your hair!!! ❤❤❤
I feel like everyday there's a new type of plastic surgery
No kidding 😩 from forehead filler to smile elongation to browbone shaving it’s insane how people are morphing the every single detail about their appearance
ONE MINUTE AGO!!!!
Watching the whole thing
I want your lips!! They gorgeous! Sadly no amount of surgery will achieve that for me 😢 and I’m 47 and the only person will see it is my family, my Dr, my local Pharmacy staff and the local grocery store. I need to get out more! Lol
Never heard of a lip flip before

At least like 25 because at 21 you can think about if you want it and then a couple years later if you still want it, you can get it
Who would have thought that body parts have functions?
😭💀

I'm only a minute and a half in and already this is going to be ugly. Don't let these surgeons, injectors and aestheticians ruin your face and life.

They all look like they are faking a smile after the lip flip…
Fr it doesn't look genuine anymore if half the muscles are paralyzed
Damn my gums show when i smile. I have semi full lips. More so of a pouty mouth. I do dislike when they show but I’m damn sure not embarrassing myself getting a lip filler
Gummy smiles are a sign of youth
If Busiwa told me I’m beautiful, I’d die happy ❤
I’ll only say it if you say it to yourself first ❤️

This always crosses my mind.
Omg I didn’t know “my life as Eva” was still doing things lol I miss her
*New Insecurity Unlocked*
Guess this ain’t as crazy as “strawberry legs”
A “gummy smile”? Had me checking my own smile 😂 new insecurity unlocked, thanks internet 💀

I do along the philintrum that, and under the nose only, i cant with the whole lip

I had a lip flip to even my lips out without filler... one lip was way lower after. Horrible thing to do 😮
Sigh..... More lip fillings

No forreal, it’s sad when I do more research than them.
Is a lip flip and lip filler the same thing ?
Nope. Lip flipping is Botox, filler is typically hyaluron acid
@ okay gotcha
No I would not consider getting a lip flip also I don’t want my upper lip basically paralyzed 🤷🏾♀️

I’m non-denominational. Denominations come with a bunch of confusion.
I really don’t care what they do anymore, the narcissism and stupidity is off the chart, let them get on with it.

Hi
@ hellow
Shut up stop commenting for attention and u do this to all her videos shut UP
How is it ever this serious?
It’s common sense a lip flip would be for specific people lmao wth . So no. Not everyone is a good candidate. Experts literally said that in this video lmao
Yet they’ll still want to get their lips flipped
Love watching these kind of videos, but I sometimes have a little bit of body dysmorphia afterwards for like a day or so.
The thumbnail is a lil scary 😅😅

I’ve never even heard of a lip flip until now! I’m 54! Do I live under a rock? 🪨 I’m happy right here 🤣🤣
No literally never heard of this and I’m 20😂
