I don’t if this was brought up before on the finale part, but considering what Ashnard did to Rajaion in POR, you have to wonder if he would have done that to Soren if Soren could have turned into a dragon. I wouldn’t put it past him. On another note, it’s also a bit disappointing that Lehran, Ashera, Ashunera, and Yune don’t get updated into the tree at all. Same with Shiharim.
Ashnard and Almedha being Soren’s parents still shock me. I’d love to see an alternate Soren get added into Heroes that depicts him as Daein royalty who never got abandoned by Ashnard. So a “what if?” like the Adrift banner.
along with a queen Micaiah of bengion that would make for an interesting banner. Although only two characters makes for a weak banner. Keeping with the theme of 'what if' and 'royalty', how about a king Renning? although that isn't nearly as great.

Obviously Soren's rant towards Mordecai and Lethe was inexcusable, but I kind of find it hard to HATE Soren given his backstory and his friendship with Ike. (Which says something, since I still haven't forgotten him for the "WHERE'S IKE?!" x5 incident in Heroes)
i didnt play por futher than a few chapters in(yet,i plan on continuing after a longer pause somewhen) and i really dont like soren.but i gotta admit that he is one of the better developed characters from hearing his backstory in this video alone.ashnard was a giant dastard lol
Game Theory: Devdan IS Danved!? The character tree is a neat addition, but I wish spoilers didn't persist across multiple playthroughs. I would have preferred each file's character tree be independent of every other file's and updated as the game goes on. Imagine buying the game used (hah!) and going into it for the first time. Imagine the reaction to the super spoilers.
Yeah, that's a problem with this way of handling the tree. In order to show how the tree starts back in my Chapter 4 video, I had to move my RD save data to an SD card, delete it, then move it back after I recorded the early-game tree. (This is also the only way to see the original version of the opening movie again. Once you get to Part 3 ONCE, you see the full version every time)
The game isn't on a cartridge, it's on a Wii disk, so save files wouldn't come with it. lol Still a problem though if you share the Wii with someone, like siblings for example.
This was a really interesting vid that's for sure. Also still wish we had a cabin and able along with a second fighter for the DB. Meanwhile cant wait for PQ especially now the PQ2 came out recently. So many hilarious moments will be coming from the LP that they'll get their own video. Also those hallway convos, I really like those.

In a morbid way, it'd be a bit funny if you lost this play through use data. Because 404. I disagree on the fact that it being a massive spoiler to name-drop Ashunera because we don't know who that is until the end. People will either think it's misspelled, mistranslation, ETC. I don't know if it was like this in the JP version, but still. What's funny about saying that every Branded hastens the end of the world by 100 years is that, in a sense, it's a self-fufiling prophecy. Because the tribes grow further and further apart, and realtons get worse. Personally, I wish Sorren got some sort of weapon that could Harm Ashnard in PoR, if only for the retroactive irony of how Ashnard threw out a child that he thought was weak, only to be killed by that same child years later.
There are a lot of people I wish could hurt Ashnard. Soren is one, Mist is another, but Tauroneo also has an AMAZING boss conversation with him. (Although his line about being know as "the king killer" is painful in light of RD, where he can end up killing Pelleas)
I get the feeling that if he was in a more recent game Ashnard would just have Dragonskin and maybe a "has to be killed by Ike" tag, rather than "invulnerable to everything besides Ragnell, Dragon Laguz, and Laguz Royals".
There's an unused skill in the game called "Chaos", which has no text associated with it any does nothing, but might have been intended as Ashnard's counterpart to Mantle.
Not sure why the character tree hunts to Devdan and Danved being the same person. Danved clearly states that he is NOT Devdan, just that they happen to look alike

I have to admit it would have been interesting if soren discovered that he is the true prince daien I wonder how he would rule, would he be a power hungry fool like his father or would he be kind and compassionate like his mother. I get the feeling that the Teilius games were meant to be a 3-5 part series but due to poor sales or whatever they gave the series an abrupt ending in the second game.
I beat the game in around 350 turns. But my playtime definitely exceeded 60 hours because the enemy phase takes so long I pretty much leave the game running and so other stuff like take a shower or eat lunch
As a fan of all things feline I can say that having a Cat snuggling up to you is very very comfortable, like a fury hot water bottle on your lap. Although that means those snuggling Cats have the opportunity to start playing with my headphones as my families New Kittens have been doing. They seem to really like playing with wires for some reason. I would have thought Ulki was slightly older than Janaff rather than the other way around. Scratch that Janaff to me looks like he is not even 20 in Hawk Years yet so it really really surprises me that he is the senior in this case. They also treat a 5 year difference like it is no big deal. For a Human that would be a quite sizeable difference in Age especially when the age difference is between people who are relatively young as for a 20 year old that would a 4th of their total lifespan. Yet for the Hawks they treat it like it was maybe 1 year or 2 years of difference, which it may as well could be as I do not remember how much slower Hawk ageing is compared to Beorc ageing. It is ironic that despite starting as a literal nobody Soren actually has connections to some very important people, like how his Maternal Grandfather was the Dragon King for most of Goldoa’s existence as well as one of his Ashera’s Three Heroes and his father as also the King of his own nation. And I would have loved to see the look on Ashnard’s face if he knew about Soren being his son. As such delicious irony makes a terrific meal. And another way to spoil the Black Knight’s identity. Try and guess who the Zelgius Spirit in Smash Ultimate evolved into and the first two do not count. Since it seem that they have given up on trying to keep who the Black Knight is a secret considering Zelgius’s design in Heroes as well as this are a thing. They also spoil that Sirius is Camus by the same method but unlike the Black Knight reveal those 2 being the same person is very very obvious. And talking about Smash Ultimate, try and guess who got Smash Ultimate for Christmas? Have been playing pretty much non stop since then and I have gotten a lot of stuff done like. The Newcomers are very fun to play as for the most part with Simon/Richter really clicking with me, might be because I played a lot of Robin in Smash 4 and they feel like they facilitate that kind of play style with the multiple projectiles and strong smash attacks. Ridley is a interesting combo of power and speed on a heavy weight. The insane amount of offensive momentum I can get with the Inkling if I am having a good day, the good Echo Fighter selection with Ken being a interring twist on Ryu’s move set. Chrom has the advantages of Roy’s very aggressive play style without the uneven damage or the fact that character with that move set is Roy, his recovery is quite bad though but is only a slight blemish. Overall I would say the newcomers are overall better than Smash 4 as even through I am not super familiar with most of the Newcomers I felt they all looked fun or interesting and was very excited to play them, unlike Smash 4 where atleast for the Base Newcomers I was only super excited for Rosalina, Greninja and Robin and somewhat excited for Plautena and Little Mac. I really liked all the DLC newcomers though with Ryu being my favourite out of them. The stage list is massive with most stages returning although I wished Rainbow Road and Jungle Hijinx retuned and 75 Meters, Havenbow and Mario Bros did not. Love the incredibly expansive amount of music in the game. In fact the Castlevania music in the game means that I have discovered quite a few good songs that I had not heard off before. With a lot of the New Remixes I feel are excellent Crocodile Cacophony, Stalker/Wicked Child, and Advance being among them. I could go on but I have things to do so bye bye for now.

You can't just Laguz by appearance, basically. Soren is... really important overall, which is partly why I used him in both playthroughs. Some people have noted his outfit in Heroes has some slightly similarities to the clothes worn by Goldoan royalty. Yeah... I'd heard about that. Wait, Sirius is a Spirit? That's cool, though people who haven't play the fan translations won't know who he is.

I don’t doubt she wouldn’t allow it since he’s the true successor, but if she doesn’t then it would cause an uproar and possibly a national war on who will succeed, and if Soren wins then Micaiah might do the same with Begnion. It’s just better overall if Soren doesn’t assume the throne. But to answer, yes he does.
he could also hypothetically have a claim to be the next in line to the Goldoan throne if Kurthnaga doesn’t have any heirs but i suspect that even if Soren’s lifespan is way longer than a regular human or branded because he’s black dragon branded he would still end up living less than Kurthnaga but IN THEORY it is possible.

Like I said in the video, the Goddesses are in the artbook version of the character tree, but Lehran doesn't seem to be.
I though that Ashnard wanted to use Soren the same as he did with Rajaion.

You only get it if you have Soren fight Micaiah in 3-7 and Pelleas in 3-E. Both cases are a lot easier with a Meteor tome.
